The inspector who came to my future home was very thorough, explained everything he was doing or had done, and pointed out things I needed to understand. He was there when he said he would be, and that was very important to me. He took his time and went under the house (mobile homes) and checked for leaks. His name is Chad Richardson. If I could give him more stars, I would. read more

At Home Inspections did a great job for me. They do their work professionally. To begin, they gave me an accurate quote on the phone, straight away. I scheduled an appointment and that was easy. On the appointment date, the Inspector was very punctual and professional. He explained what he was doing and had my best itnerest in mind. The reason why I hired their service was because mold was detected at my apartment. My landlord supposedly solved the problem by hiring a mold remediation company, etc. After their work was done, I hired At Home Inspections to find out if the landlord and his team did their job right. After the Inspector (from At Home Inpstions) left, it didn't take long before detailed reports, pictures, and lab results were sent to me by email. Next, I had questions. I called them and they were very courteous in providing me with answers. Frankly, it was great service. Thank you very much. Great job. read more

As a real estate agent, I work with lots of inspectors. My experience with Bradley and At Home Inspections in Bakersfield was fantastic! I highly recommend this company and specifically this inspector. Bradley was professional and conducted a thorough inspection. He went above and beyond to ensure that the entire property was evaluated which often times is not the case with inspectors looking to rush and cut corners. I wish more inspectors delivered service at this level. This was truly one of the best inspection experiences I've dealt with as an agent. I know my clients were taken care of and will look to Bradley for any future inspections. read more

I had my experience with Enrique. He was pleasant and approachable while professionally introducing himself and explaining the process. He was all over that house popping up on the roof, going under the house, in the cabinets, walls leaving no stone unturned. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Once complete, I was provided a detailed synopsis and he even answered my one million questions with a smile at the end of his day! I'm naturally inquisitive and was impressed. Then to receive such a thorough and detailed report so quickly I recommend them highly! read more

I was a little frustrated. I told the person I scheduled with about my brain injury and that I needed someone to help me go through the report. She indicated she would have the inspector (Tristan) call me on his way home (about an hour) to walk through the inspection and what was found. I then paid a termite inspection a quarter of the price of the home inspection and the termite inspector found leaks in the garage, mold/fungus under both bathroom sinks. They also discovered a lot more dry rot then Tristan the home inspector. I was disappointed as I expected the home inspection company would have found these things. I wish I would have hired a different company based on what I've learned now. :( read more

My real estate agent made arrangements with this company. I'm from SC Los Angeles and new to the city of Bakersfield. They responded quick. In less than 48 business hours the inspection was done. I was present at the time of the inspection. The two inspectors were very friendly. They answered basic questions that I had. They were very professional. I'm very happy with their work and professionalism. I definitely recommend them. read more

Jamie drove from Bakersfield to Ventura County in order to conduct an inspection of the home my wife and I just entered into contract to purchase. He was very thorough, and analyzed every nook and cranny of the property in question. He even suited up into some garb that was similar to the scene in Pixar's Monster Inc. when they had a "2319" and he crawled under the home performing a holistic review of the underbelly of our new home. I highly recommend At Home Inspections! read more

Highly recommend very professional and when we asked questions they were very knowledgeable and explained everything very well to us they were very quick definitely would use them again I also wanted to add that I was a little afraid of a home inspection just because my friend just bought a home and he used a different inspection company and his inspection did not go very well things that you wish a home inspector would had notice they did not so I was afraid something like that would happen to me but it did not i 100% felt very comfortable with what I was told and they did look at everything and that is why I 100% recommend At Home Inspection read more

We hired At Home Inspections to perform an inspection of a new property my wife and I just purchased. They gave us a 3 hour window of when the inspection should start and finish. They finished the home before said time limit, and then handed us an HTML report of the inspection. It gave us very detailed information of what they documented along with pictures as well. Luckily, our home is not very old and has been very well kept so there was not much for them to have to document. But, with all that they have done, my wife and I have peace of mind that our home is in tip-top shape. read more

Hired At Home Inspectors to do an inspection on a home I am purchasing. As a first time home buyer, this process couldn't have been more smooth. Jamie and his team were very profrssional and had clear communication the entire time. scheduling was so easy, they emailed and text before the appointment for reminders and showed up on time. Jamie was very thorough with his inspection and I had my detailed report same day (within 2-3 hours). Defenitely recommended working with Jamie and his team. Update: after filing a dispute with our bank card company, allowing at home inspections to respond within a 60 day period with anything refuting our claims of their impropriety (they chose not to respond), we received a full refund. Unfortunately, the company decided to go a different avenue and instead of refuting the claim sent our account to collections without proper notification. We were notified by a debt collector. Obviously we have all documents backing our claim, as well as the lack of collection on their part to validate sending it to an outside agency. This company is a scam and instead of owning their mistakes they are pawning them off on their costumers. Not a good look. read more

Another great home inspection from At Home Inspections. They are very thorough and go over all the main components of the home. Thanks for all your help from scheduling, rescheduling due to client schedules, and lastly waiting for us to review the report in person. read more

Got most expensive inspection done by this company. The inspector missed most of the problems in the house. Had to get second inspection done by different company. Don't hire them they don't live up to their promises. read more

This company did a solid job with the actual inspection and I was ready to give them 5 stars. But for the last week, I am getting multiple emails each day from them trying to get me to buy more goods and services. They are the Jehovah Witnesses of the Home Inspections world. Enough, already!! Too much. Had I known, I would have gone a different route. Maybe use them and then give them an email that you will abandon immediately after? LOL. read more

At Home Inspections was able to get my inspection booked quickly, and gave me a specific window of time they would be at the house. The inspector was at the house on time, and was finished within the 3 hour window. Within an hour of completion, I received an email with the full inspection report. It was very detailed and included an easy to understand synopsis of every area of the house and property. Tristan was very polite, professional and a bright spot in this process of buying a home. While things were added on as extra, I felt comfortable knowing the thorough job he and his team did. They were welcoming and didn't make me feel like I was bothering them with questions. They showed me everything on tablet with notes and all the issues were clear to me as the work that has to be done. As nerve wracking as an experience as this can be, they made it pretty easy to digest and I have a solid idea of how what work needs to be prioritized. Thanks Tristan:) read more

The staff was very friendly and communicative. Jamie followed up with a personal video message as soon as he was finished inspecting our future home in Bakersfield. He was very thorough with the picture/videos and descriptions on the easy to use Home Binder. He did an outstanding job finding little to big items that needed repair on the house. It was well worth upgrading to the premium package. He was willing to conference call with my agent and me and was willing to answer all types of questions. Peace of mind. Satisfied customer. Absolutely the most usless inspection company. They performed an inspection and a week later I needed repair to my AC. They claim they have a 90 day guarantee. But when I called they said tough luck. Then they passed my water heater which was not up to code. My approx cost will be $2000. Again they said to bad. Can't believe I actually had to pay for this inspection. read more
