Have you ever paid cash for a repair and had them call the next day to tell you they don't think you paid enough because their cash total was out??? Have you ever had your dealership call to say your recall parts are in, then have them ignore you for 3 hours and when you ask how it's going they tell you they don't have the manpower to do it that day and you'd need to come back??? Have you ever had another appointment where after 2 hrs they finally bring your truck in and then check inventory to find they don't have the parts needed and they ask you to come back? And during this service call they actually charged you both for parts and labor to change the battery on our key fob even after they've disappointed you. You expect better when you're a return buyer of 2 new vehicles from their dealership. But don't expect actual customer service - not from this service department. read more

It's never a good experience in their service department. Total lack of urgency. They do not call you back with answers if you ask questions. It can take a day or two for them to look up a torque spec if you require information from the dealership. You are on hold for a minimum of 5 minutes. Recently I had an issue with my Ford Lariat with some electrical problem, I was able to drive it there on a Sunday and just drop off without making an appointment, while I arranged to get a ride to my work on the Monday I had called to talk about my issue and they were kind enough to get my truck fixed that day plus I even had an oil change completed, they went above and beyond to accommodate me under short notice, thanks again for going out of your way to help me out! read more

How is Blue Star Ford still in business?? I was looking for a new F150 and went to Blue Star Ford in Simcoe along with Heaslip in Haggersville for quotes. I was trading in a three year old Toyota Corolla S with 55,000 kms. The Blue Star quote was $2,500 more that the Heaslip quote so I bought the truck in Haggersville. Shortly after, I had a warranty repair that was needed and since I live in Simcoe I brought the truck to Blue Star to get the work done. The heavy set service manager (sorry but I forgot his name) asked if I bought the truck there. When I said I did not, he told me to take the Fuc*ing Truck back to Haggersville and have them look after this. What if I had just moved here from BC, am I supposed to go back across the country to have it repaired? Over the next couple of years I have taken my truck elsewhere for service. Anyway, this week I thought I would give them another try. I called for an appointment on Tuesday and the receptionist transferred my call over to the service department. When they did not pick up the call the receptionist came back on the line and took my name and number and said they would call back that day. It is now Friday and I have not heard anything back. Great way to do business! I have absolutely NO USE for Blue Star Ford! read more
