Have you ever had your dealership call to say your recall parts are in, then have them ignore you for 3 hours and when you ask how it's going they tell you they don't have the manpower to do it that day and you'd need to come back??? Have you ever had another appointment where after 2 hrs they finally bring your truck in and then check inventory to find they don't have the parts needed and they ask you to come back? And during this service call they actually charged you both for parts and labor to change the battery on our key fob even after they've disappointed you. You expect better when you're a return buyer of 2 new vehicles from their dealership. But don't expect actual customer service - not from this service department.

It can take a day or two for them to look up a torque spec if you require information from the dealership. You are on hold for a minimum of 5 minutes. Then they don't know why you're upset when they finally answer your call

I've been going to a Chevrolet dealer to have my car fixed because I assumed that they know their…read moreown cars, well it turns out they don't! I had a problem with my car backfiring while driving, which was causing the car to shake while stopped at intersections and hesitate while picking up speed. I brought my car in there the first time, they told me they could not figure out what was wrong. So I pad $30 for them to not do anything at all. The second time I brought my car in they told me an air intake pipe has been chewed through, so I replaced it ( took over a week for them to order that part and I spent $399). After that they claimed that everything was fixed, except that the check engine light stayed on and my car kept doing what it was doing before. I made a terrible mistake my going back there because all they did was suggest that the sensor for the check engine light was broken, so they replaced it. $350 later my check engine light was still on and they had no idea what to do. Imagine my surprise when I took my car to a Canadian Tire down the street and the mechanics there figured out the real problem within the first 30 minutes. Basically these jokers at Aitken Chevrolet had no idea what was wrong with my car all along, and they chose to act like a bunch of "know it all's" fixing randoms stuff that had nothing to do with the initial problem. Finally I called them to tell them that I was disappointed with their service and that they never figured out the real issue with my vehicle. They told me that they will have the person that I dealt with call me back after they speak to the mechanic. Guess what? They never called back! If you value your time and money avoid this place like the plague.

I took my 2013 Chrysler 200 ( purchased used, elsewhere) to demeyere simcoe for warranty work, that…read morebeing, I had discovered rust on the hood. It was covered by warranty, with a new hood to be installed, we made arrangements to have the hood replaced. When I went to pick my car up, the paint color was not even a close match and worse, the alignment of said hood to my car body was awful. I was so upset, I cried. To his credit, Jim the body shop manager offered to make it right, I took the car back and the fenders were blended and the alignment of the new hood was corrected. Because it was cloudy when I picked my car up, and was dark the next time I drove, it was two days before I realized that the passenger windshield was "cloudy". I took it to a car wash, scrubbed with windex by hand and its still there. I believe it is paint/clear coat over spray. By this point I am so disgusted with the quality of service at this shop I refuse to take it back to have it addressed. I will not return to this business, nor will I recommend to anyone.
