    Bacon Swiss burger
    Thomas S.

Nice little newly-remodeled restaurant situated in the Maplewood Suites. We went on a weeknight and it seemed like most people there were guests at the hotel. We ordered fried mozzarella, caprese salad, chicken riggies and a bacon swiss burger. The fried mozzarella was awesome! The chicken riggies had a nice kick and the french fries were delicious. The burger was a little over cooked though. Our waitress was very nice, but the service was slow. Overall, I would recommend this place for decent food at a good price!

This is NOT the Maple wood from before. The remodel is amazing! The new lounge looks beautiful and the food we had was great! Decent wine and a live band on a Wednesday was cool! I heard someone taking about this place and decided to check it out. We ordered 3 appetizers and a bottle of wine and enjoyed everything. Very interesting menu and you can tell the chefs take pride in the food they are putting out. The flat bread pizzas are great and the caprese salad was pretty awesome for March! The hand cut mozzarella wedges fried with panko crumbs and marinara was so good! Really cool place completely different than before. Please check it out you won't be disappointed! We will definitely be back!

Where's the beef? An fries, for that matter?

This may be my second favorite review of all time. It gets two stars as the wife ordered Margarita pizza, and she approved. But my story starts in Philadelphia. I ordered Joe's Phily Cheesesteak, described as "a generous portion of ribeye...." etc etc. I will admit, it had more cheese (real cheese) than any other sandwich I have ever had. Mushrooms and onions, some pepper shavings. But it ends there. There was but a few pieces of meat. But here is the best part of the review. About ten minutes passes, and the waitress returns. "How is everything?" I show her the sandwich, devoid of said generous rib-eye. She looks at me annoyingly, points to the sandwich, and says "There's a piece.". I'm now thinking dinner is like a "Where's Waldo" game, with the beef being Waldo. In deference to the wife, I just say take it back, and take it off the bill. First time I've ever said the latter. Begrudgingly, she does. Oddly, there was no offer to correct! (For the record, I never accept any free dessert, coffee, etc, so the review is not jaded).

A new restaurant that has great food, great staff, and live music. We have been a few times and just love the food. The chef is outstanding, he is a total rock star with soups and sauces. We love the appetizers. They smoke their own salmon! Entrées are done very nicely. Good choices, love the weekend special. The owner is personable and accommodating. We have had some of the best waitstaff ever. Knowledgeable and helpful. Offered some good wine pairings for us try. The decor is upscale. The only thing that is not stellar is the desserts. Those are at best average. One exception was a home made strawberry short cake. Plus live music . I am a fan

First time here for our date night ..wow. Awesome evening, the food was fantastic, and I'm the picky eater. We met owner Joe, he couldn't have been nicer and genuinely welcomed us. Our waitress Jen, was the best. Attentive & personable. Even met the chef...lucky for us they had a great country bane, Country Swagg...fantastic. We found our new favorite place.

Plus, ticket prices were more than reasonable, it has a full bar, and the drinks were a lot cheaper than I was expecting. The place also has a lot of character. We watched all of the opening bands from the bar area, which was pretty large and never had much of a wait for drinks. From there, the acoustics were generally good. We were with a VIP guest and watched the headlining band from behind stage (awesome experience!), so I can't really speak to the acoustics on the main floor. However, from behind the scenes, it looked like the crowd was really enjoying themselves. I know I had a great time. Parking wasn't difficult, the bathrooms weren't horrible, all the staff were friendly, and the bartenders knew what they were doing. I'm sure I will be back the next time a band I like is playing here.

When security checked my ID (my state issued very real ID that I've never had any issue with) I was told it was fake and without a second form of ID I would be removed. The friend I was with, while above 18 was under 21 and was let in without issue, which made it feel like it was something against me personally. I avoid confrontation at all costs but this was ridiculous to me so I pushed back and calmly asked him what made him think it was fake. He refused to explain only telling me that he's seen a lot of fakes that night and mine was fake. I showed him my student ID because if I was using a fake ID why would I use my real name in the first place, and he told me that wasn't enough. When I told him I didn't have my passport but pictures of it he yelled at me to show him. When I did and I asked him to explain it to me what made him think it's a fake, he once again only reiterated that he's seen a lot of fakes that night and it was one. I restated the question and asked if there was any features he could specifically point to would indicate it's a fake because if there was a problem with my ID I wanted to know. He told me if I kept arguing with him I would be removed, even as I was walking away. If this was just for drinks I wouldn't have cared, but the fact that it seemed to be for entry into the venue, even when there was no minimum age indicated, and if there was, would someone under 18 really have a fake Id, a student id somehow, and be hanging out with college kids? In addition to the fact that he couldn't answer the question of which parts of my ID looked fake? It seemed extremely personal. Or maybe this place just needs a scanner or to train their security better. It was an insulting, embarrassing, and frustrating experience.

This was lucky because the weather ended up being cold and wet. The space isn't huge and it's pretty unique because it looks like it was converted from an old theater. Since it was an outdoor show it seemed like the ticket sales were for a much bigger space. As the night went on the crowd thinned out and it was much more comfortable to not have people on top of you. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with how they configured a small space. There is a big bar in the back which sells drinks and pizza. There are registers reserved for canned drinks and water to help move the line along. There is also a vending machine to sell snacks. There is a slight decline in the floor so it feels like an outdoor show and if you are in the back you can still see. The big drawback is the bathrooms are super tiny. You could be waiting for a long time. Overall, a pretty cool spot, check it out if you are in the area.

My friends and I purchased tickets for $30 each, expecting a well-organized experience with a live DJ, as advertised. However, what we received was far from what was promised. The DJ never showed up, and instead of a live set, the event simply played the "This Is One Direction" Spotify playlist. This is unacceptable. If the DJ had canceled, the appropriate response would have been to reschedule, offer attendees a refund or partial reimbursement, or at the very least, provide some form of compensation such as complimentary drinks. Instead, we were left feeling completely shortchanged. Additionally, the event was supposed to be a full experience, yet it was abruptly cut off at 9:15 PM--barely three hours long. For the price we paid, this fell significantly below reasonable expectations, and it felt like a blatant disregard for the attendees who invested in this experience. Given the lack of the promised DJ, the shortened event time, and the overall mismanagement, I strongly believe that ALL attendees deserve compensation, whether in the form of a partial refund or credit for a future event. Please let me know how you plan to address this issue. I look forward to your prompt response.

A menu full of takes on classic American fare run through a different flavor profile, and it maintains the large and excellent beer selection of this spaces previous tenant. Take their menu, full of fusion into dishes like their garbage plate and flatbreads that feel unique in this area and still fit the expectation of the originals. Then there is the occasional misfire, like the vindaloo cheesesteak that looks like some premade microwaved slices on a bad roll. This has been pretty good, but if you find something like the cheesesteak, try something else. That's the weird part, for a place with excellent service, an amazing selection of beers, and an experience which places it well above other Destiny locations like Bullfinch and other generic options in the new expansion (it should always be a bad sign for a site when Cheesecake Factory is in the short list of better options to eat at like Karma and the wildly overrated Bullfinch); it needs to have a solid menu top to bottom, don't make us find out what things are crap. It's tough enough to handle the noise in there even when it isn't busy. Overall, really good spot, but a few changes to remove the dead matter will make this the only option in Destiny worth anything. ANYTHING.
