I don't remember my techs name but i came in wanting acrylic. They convinced me to get Gel X. Bad move, i got them an hour ago and one of my nails already fell off. I spent $100... The tech was super nice and the whole staff is very friendly. Just disappointed and wish I could get my money back. read more

I went for a pedicure. I definitely could have done better myself. She got polish everywhere and was trying to file it off and scrape it off with her sharp nails. I am bleeding and in pain. The polish has bubbles and is missing in some areas and still on my skin in other areas. Wish I never went. read more

I'm an acrylic girl, it's a hard thing to get the exact shape and length right and they always look stunning when I go to Blue Sky Nails. I've been there over 10+ times and always received awesome service and leave so happy with my nails. I recommend calling before to get an appointment or going in the middle of the week to get in. Weekends seemed busy for them but that's everywhere. read more

Easy walk in and check in process Comfortable chairs, clean foot tubs. (They use those plastic giant shower caps) My nail professional, Jessica, was so skilled and great I don't want to share her, yet I will! So many colors, affordable options to upgrade the service. She listened and cut my toenails short and then rounded them beautifully! Highly recommend! read more

Disappointing. Curt service, impolite, dirty nail carts, and my manicure was done while my toes were drying and while I was sitting in the pedicure chair. I went to check out the new store front in wheat ridge on a Sunday afternoon. Apparently a wedding party was there which was fun. There was a DJ and champagne and the music was thumping. The decor and the setup was hip and organized. I was greeted immediately and I requested a mani/pedi. Good so far. I picked out my polish and sat in the chair. The pedicure was quick and efficient. My attendant was neat and he had strong hands for the massage. I asked that my ingrown nails be taken care of and he clipped down the side of my toe and cut them! I'm used to my other nail salon coaxing then out and filing down the side and removing and skin impacting the ingrown. I'll have to see how much it will hurt when they grow back. The cart was dirty so that left the cleanliness of the tools suspect. After my toes were dug into I didn't see the used tools get disinfected or cleaned or anything. My manicure was done in the chair. I had scooted my butt forward and the chair pad dislodged from the chair base. After that the massage no longer worked. My tech went to work on another party and I was left in the chair for 20 minutes with no check backs after my tech put banana slippers on my feet. I finally just went up to the front desk to pay. I waited. Waited. Finally my guy came up and I paid. No thank you, no good bye. Not the pampering I'm used to having. I tip very well for good service because I'm appreciative. Too bad. read more

This is the cleanest salon I have been to in memory. Even though they are new there are clearly no 'new jitters' and they are extremely professional and good at what they do (I just got a manicure and am looking forward to trying pedicure services next time). Also, this salon is HUGE! I counted 24 pedicure chairs and just as many mani stations. I think i found my new place! EDIT: came back today for a pedicure- EXCELLENT! They use a fresh plastic covering for each guest in the foot tub, very gentle yet effective tech didn't treat my guy feet like horse hooves. read more

Super unimpressed. Went in for a pedicure ( 1st time here) the guy performed the service so quickly. It was far from thorough. The under side of my nails were never cleaned and my feet were never massaged only the calves- half heartedly. From the time I walked into the door to out of it was probably 30 minutes. Very disappointing, will definitely not be returning. For reference I did the sexy leg pedicure + shellac, definitely not the cheapest one. I still tipped the guy and have been kicking myself ever since. read more

If there was no stars I'd pick that. Black nails cost 50$ and grey cost 47$. These were done less then 10 min ago... black nails are not sanded and have horrible ridges in then and no time was taken to clean up the cuticles a damn mess and she had the nerve to ask if she liked them.... the grey nails look like I'm Two weeks out and already need a rebased- This is the first time we have been here and will 100% be my last. Love the location of this place! Newer salon (when asked they said they've been open for 7 months.) I just got new gel color on my nails which still was $25. I probably would come back for a whole mani and not waste my money just getting a color change. Everything looked clean and updated. read more

The customer is not always right at this business... I have been going to this salon for the last six months. I pay cash and make sure I leave a gracious gratuity. I Always have had more than a positive experience until today... I understand that people have bad days and when I expressed that my service was less than pleasurable the attitude and negativity was more than disappointing both from the nail tech and the greeter Daniel. I wasn't looking for anything but an apology but that was not going to happen. Things don't always go as you would like when you have a business but the true integrity of your business is how you handle poor service and try to make it right by the customer... to see a possible fight break out and tempers escalate to the extent that they did by an expression of displeasure was more than shocking and disappointing! read more

Worst manicure and pedicure I have ever received. I came in from out of town for a wedding and needed to get my nails done beforehand. My shellac manicure is lumpy, patchy and all around my finger nails. My pedicure still has my old blue toenail polish showing through. I accidentally tripped on my way out to my car and I came in to get my nails fixed. The technician did not take off my original nail polish and instead just filled it in. I now have a giant dip in my big toe. Worst of all I have no time to get them fixed and the owner won't reimburse me. Buyer beware. Better off going elsewhere Update: my SHELLAC nail chipped after less than one week. Cannot express how terrible this place is. read more

I walked in with my package from Etsy containing nail transfers. I had found a picture on Pinterest of coarse! I was hoping to get my nails done in a similar fashion. They ended up looking amazing! After moving to Colorado three months ago and trying five different salons, this is what I've been looking for! Blue Sky is a spacious, stunning space with gorgeous floors, artsy accent walls and a ton of brand-new chairs. Secondly, they have a massive selection of polish and dip powder, so I won't be bored anytime soon. Thirdly (that's a word?), their technicians are both talented artists and friendly conversationalists. After Rachel got her hands on my hands, they honestly look better than they have in a long, long time. Let's say ... three months? And fourthly (yep, we're doing it), the prices are super reasonable. I'm thrilled to have found my forever salon! See you guys in two weeks. read more

Blue Sky Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Unfortunately this salon has gone very downhill. The last few services I had were less than ideal. Recently, the nail tech completely forgot to file one of my hands and didn't put on a top coat of shellac so my nails looked different on each hand. However, the worst experience was when I went in last week to have my shellac removed. I told the greeter that I was willing to wait since I was a walk in and that I was in no rush. He insisted that I have my service done by one of the techs even though her next appointment was in 5 minutes. She was so rushed that she didn't let my nails soak and drilled them all down, ruining my nails and not even getting all the polish off. Now my nails are completely brittle and broken. When I told the greeter about my less than stellar experience, he snapped back at me. Very rude and weird experience. I'd avoid this salon if you can. read more

I was almost happy with my nails until I looked more at them after I left. Not happy. My nails are crooked, bumpy and the worst part is my nails aren't parallel with my finger like it's supposed to. They look like my nail is about to fall off like the tips weren't glued down properly. The place was cute and clean. Wish I was happy with the service. read more

Great service, nice people, very large selection of different colors. Great results and service!

I brought my elderly dad in this afternoon for a manicure pedicure. The tech that took care of him never ran the water (?) She finished the entire appt in 30 minutes. Needless to say - $57.00 for two procedures that she spent less than 30 minutes on is a disappointment. I didn't want to get into it with my dad standing there. He's not able to communicate due to a stroke four years ago and if I seemed unhappy it would have spoiled the experience for him. In Florida I took him every month for an hour long appointment for mani pedi that was $40.00 with a $10.00 tip. It was $50.00 well spent. I've never heard of a pedicure without the use of water. read more

I came for a pedicure and eyebrow wax, I have been here many times without issue but today the waxer blew on the wax- in my face! - to cool it down. She did not wear a mask and seemed oblivious to why this was upsetting. The guy doing my pedicure is sniffling and wiping his nose, did not have sanitized nail equipment all of his tools were on top of his cart in bins not the sanitized packages they usually use and then he began filing the top of my toe nail (which I have never seen or had done and I asked him to stop) then he cut my toe while clipping dead skin. I walked out without having my pedicure completed and told who I assume to be the manager what happened and no apology or recognition. I am so disappointed with the hygiene here I will not be back. read more

Good service for price but person I booked with didn't show up...hope all is ok and they pulled another tech to take care of me

If I could post less than one star I would. The little scum bag manager gives the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I called to see when to come in because I know Sunday's are busy and his words are " you can come in any time after 11:45 I'm pretty busy this morning." Never took my info or got me booked, so I was under the impression he could take me this afternoon. I'm a new mom and cleared my whole afternoon and got a baby sitter, to show up at 12:30 and be told "you must have called another location I didn't say that I have a 1:15 now" he argued with me in front of another customer behind me and he turned us both away. Leaving after a waste of my time and I hit redial on my phone and whata ya know, it's the same exact place that just turned me away. I advised the manager of that and hung up. He then called me back to Harass me saying "oh now I remember I remembered your call when you left did you just call and hang up on me". I didn't leave you basically shoved away my business and if I ended our call that's my business. Don't you dare call me back to argue with me further. My husband thankfully took his return call and told him how disgusting and unprofessional that was as a business owner. I would never give my business to someone who treats there customers like this, especially since the work is lack luster and the place is not clean. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here! read more

Got a gel manicure (even though I just wanted a gel polish change) and 5 of my nails chipped within 3 days. Called and told them the situation, they told me to come in, when I arrived I was told they just usually fix the damaged nails, which they did. 1 day later one of my original nails that didn't chip previously has chipped. Gel polish seems very thin/flimsy, and kind of annoyed that it obviously seems like an issue with the color or possibly the brand of gel polish in general and now in 3-4 more days my nails will likely chip again. Just not a fan of paying $40 for a result I could give myself with regular nail polish read more

Nice, clean, friendly greeter, but mail tech, young guy, was not very friendly, not that I even want to talk just common courtesy to look at your client when they are talking about what they want, also I bumped my nail and he was not too happy, took him all of a millisecond to fix it as I hadn't gone under the lamp yet and it was a French manicure. Made an appointment online which was easy. I tipped well, so maybe he can be kinder to his customers, not sure if I will go back. read more

Sis and I did a replay, and had a better experience this time. And the polish on my feet lasted forever. Thanks, I'll be back.

Went in to get a dip manicure. Within 4 days 3 nails came completely off. I went back in and explained how 3 nails came off and that I could see the other ones were beginning to come off also. Had them redo all of them which I could tell they were annoyed with. Within 4-5 days again 2 more chipped and came off. Will not be returning as I've had dip before at other places that has lasted 2 weeks. read more

I think this place is great. It is clean, large, and the price is right. Techs - it really depends who you get, but I've been there twice and have been very happy each time. I get a basic ped and shellac mani, it lasted for 4+ weeks! So products are quality. They also lay out their color wall with the matching non-shellac color so your toes can match your nails! Yes honey, make it easy for me! read more

My new go to nail salon! It was very very cleanly- they changed plastic coverings on the foot baths and completely disinfected the chairs after every use. My pedicure was very nicely done. The designs they added on my accent nails were very well done. And, when I accidentally chipped an accent nail later in the day, they redid it free of charge! read more

This salon is new and huge and beautiful, and my nail tech couldn't have been nicer. I got the Blue Sky Deluxe (hot stone) pedicure with a manicure. The service was relatively quick and routine. Manicure was done while I sat in the pedicure chair, and both hands were done from the left side (I held my arm across my body to get my right hand done). This salon is out of my way, so I don't know that I'll go back, but if I do, I hope for a more relaxing and pampering experience. The place definitely has potential. read more
