Overdue cleaning
Danny F.

Had not cleaned my septic in the 13 years That I have lived here, called Blue for a maintenance clean and it was completely packed, Blue did an awesome job right on time parked in drive and ran hose around the house, completely cleaned and even educated me on how to periodically clean the filter, had to wait out the rain, charged exactly what was quoted

Says the lid is OK and the driver wrote: Tank in great working order.

Blue Septic Tank Services Inc. came to my home to service my septic tank on 11/26/2024. After pumping it out, they made a critical mistake when they put the lid on the tank, which has allowed the ground to sink into the tank. I was not hurt but my leg fell through the hole, after I noticed the area was sinking. They said they would give me a new lid, but I would have to drive to their business, (about 15 miles away) and then install it myself. I told them (Amy) that I cannot dig a hole. She said to get a neighbor to help me. So, for $400, I now have a hole in my backyard that is big enough for a child to fall through and a company that is not willing to correct their negligence. Blue Septic (Amy) said the driver told me the lid was bad, (the lid was replaced in 2019) but he did not. In fact, on my receipt, written by the driver, it says that the lid is "OK". It also says in the drivers handwriting: "Tank in great working order". I suggest that people find a company to service your septic tank, that stands behind their work, because this one certainly does not. I now have to be the one who is proactive and go down to the county courthouse to file a civil lawsuit. I also spent my entire morning filing complaints with the BBB, Department of consumer affairs & the environmental protection agency. After reading some of these comments, (I should have before I hired them) in my opinion, this company should have their license suspended.

Completely full tanks

FYI - if you've EVER used Blue Septic, I cannot stress this enough, chances are they only emptied half your tank when you paid for the full service. I recommend checking on this ASAP (take pics of the before also) - ours just backed up into our home. When I called the owner of Blue Septic, Amy, not only did she not take ANY responsibility for her company, she was extremely disrespectful and then hung up on me, I was still charged $450 to have our tanks emptied even though it was just done 2 years ago (we only have 2 adults and 2 small children that have only been potty trained a year). I say all of this knowing that there is another home on my street with a very similar situation and chances are there are more.

And he repaired the buzzer to the external alarm, uncrossed wires which lead to the untimely pump failures, removed a root ball that was growing in the tank ,fixed the cover to the top on the pump tank so no more fumes leak out and a multitude of other tasks... WHEW! He wasn't annoyed by me standing by him and asking questions. Forthcoming with information which helped to educate me and reduce my stress... YAY! I HIGHLY recommend Southern Sanitary Systems for ALL your septic needs - they are truly FULL SERVICE . Also, regarding their front office staff - I spoke with Terri, what an angel! Helpful, knowledgable and treats you like family.

I have to say, the positive reviews here are nice for those that got that treatment. Here's my…read morestory. I was referred by my Realtor.. I was told not to worry about anything with my new house well here we go. The installation of the new septic tank is complete, but it left behind a serious mess that had to be corrected twice. Before we even discovered the full extent of the damage, the original installers had to come back out to "fix" things. In reality, they just threw some dirt around to cover it up and called it a day. Once properly inspected, we found the main irrigation pipe had been broken in three places, requiring full re-excavation of the area with a backhoe. Every irrigation line had to be cut and reassembled to get the system working again. Concrete edging was crushed, buried, or displaced and had to be removed completely. Excess soil from the excavation was dumped into nearby plant beds, which all had to be re-leveled. Worst of all, the backhoe bucket gouged the bark of a mature palm tree - an injury that could lead to disease and potentially kill the tree over time.
