Blue Septic Tank Services Inc. came to my home to service my septic tank on 11/26/2024. After…read morepumping it out, they made a critical mistake when they put the lid on the tank, which has allowed the ground to sink into the tank. I was not hurt but my leg fell through the hole, after I noticed the area was sinking. They said they would give me a new lid, but I would have to drive to their business, (about 15 miles away) and then install it myself. I told them (Amy) that I cannot dig a hole. She said to get a neighbor to help me. So, for $400, I now have a hole in my backyard that is big enough for a child to fall through and a company that is not willing to correct their negligence. Blue Septic (Amy) said the driver told me the lid was bad, (the lid was replaced in 2019) but he did not. In fact, on my receipt, written by the driver, it says that the lid is "OK". It also says in the drivers handwriting: "Tank in great working order". I suggest that people find a company to service your septic tank, that stands behind their work, because this one certainly does not. I now have to be the one who is proactive and go down to the county courthouse to file a civil lawsuit. I also spent my entire morning filing complaints with the BBB, Department of consumer affairs & the environmental protection agency. After reading some of these comments, (I should have before I hired them) in my opinion, this company should have their license suspended.

I hired Southern Sanitary to do a septic inspection on an older home I purchased. Chris, my…read moreinspector, was super helpful and discovered a collapsed lift station and a drain field overgrown with roots. His report enabled me to secure a seller's credit for the discrepancies. Chris gave me a fair quote for repair, so I elected to have the company do the job. They handled all of the permitting and preparation and finished my job in 2.5 days. Walter and Benson, with only a single tool trailer and a tractor, worked like mad men from 7AM to 4PM each day to complete the work. They were super professional, very nice, and did a phenomenal job. They dug a new field, dug and installed a new lift station, and repaired my backflow alarm. Benson also helped me level a few spots in my yard as a favor. This crew came prepared every day and I'm very pleased with my experience. I'll be using this company for services in the future.

I was told not to worry about anything with my new house well here we go. The installation of the new septic tank is complete, but it left behind a serious mess that had to be corrected twice. Before we even discovered the full extent of the damage, the original installers had to come back out to "fix" things. In reality, they just threw some dirt around to cover it up and called it a day. Once properly inspected, we found the main irrigation pipe had been broken in three places, requiring full re-excavation of the area with a backhoe. Every irrigation line had to be cut and reassembled to get the system working again. Concrete edging was crushed, buried, or displaced and had to be removed completely. Excess soil from the excavation was dumped into nearby plant beds, which all had to be re-leveled. Worst of all, the backhoe bucket gouged the bark of a mature palm tree - an injury that could lead to disease and potentially kill the tree over time.
