When I decided to replace my lawn with landscaping rock, I checked a number of local places. Blue Rock offered the best variety of material at a fair price. I ended up buying 4 yards of lava rock and 3 yards of Arizona River Rock. Both loads arrived on time, were dumped where I wanted them. Since I was getting a natural product, I realized that what I got might not be exactly what I had ordered, due to the variability in stones, but what I ended up with was very consistent with what I had seen in the samples. We have always purchased rock for our landscaping projects from BLUE ROCK. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They had run out of Bark Rock that we needed to complete our front yard, and the staff took our name and actually called us when more rock had come in. My wife and I went to Blue Rock not too long ago, and their customer service was horrible. While we were walking around their grounds trying to find what we were looking for, we came across a worker sitting in a golf cart doing absolutely nothing. When we asked him for help he just pointed to a part of the grounds that was a couple hundred yards away and suggested that we might find what we wanted over there - we did not. Needless to say he could have either walked over there with us and ensured that we found what we were looking for, or here's a thought - he could have driven us over there in his roomy golf cart. By the time we doubled back he was still sitting in the same spot... wait for it - DOING NOTHING. We then inquired on the way out about pricing, which was not clear, and the people at the front booth did not even want to give us the time of day. They quipped some quick math that we would need to do and went back to texting on their phone. It was obvious from their lack of care that they were not looking for customers, so we obliged them and left. We strongly advise that you save yourself the hassle, and go to a place that is interested in treating customers with respect. Hopefully they will do everyone a favor and close their place down so that people can avoid having their time wasted. read more

By far the best supply yard in the area. Recently moved from murrieta to Wildomar, this place gives you the best bang for your buck whether you're a home owner doing a DIY project or a landscaper buying in bulk. I've used this place for over 6 months now purchasing everything from fill dirt, to mulch to bark and rock. Prices are below what you'll pay at other places. I honestly love the fact that they moved to their new location on Clinton Keith, it's so convenient for us, the girls inside are always super helpful and very knowledgeable and the guys always do a great job of loading you up, even the girls know how to operate machinery, I thought that was neat. Place is family owned and they take pride in providing great customer service with an unbeatable price on product. Not sure why anyone would give them less stars or a bad review but this place has been A+ for me on over 30 visits there. It's not just a supply yard either, they have some nursery products as well as some other stuff that are worth taking a look at. Delivery prices are great as well if ordering multiple yards of product, i highly recommended them to anyone in need of their products. I ordered from Blue rock nursery 4 pallets of pavers, which i was told would do 125 square feet per pallet and would cover approximately 500 square feet. I also Paid for delivery of material to my house. When I measured the amount that I had received, it only covered 180 square feet at approximately 45 square feet a pallet.I called and asked if more was coming and they said no that was 4 pallets. I then told them that I had ordered 4 pallets to cover 500 as shows on the text that I received and they said oh that was a mistake they only cover 45 square feet. After talking to them the management offered 3 pallets at 300 plus delivery again of 150. I said I had already paid for delivery and this was not my mistake with the delivery, or the amount that was quoted on the pallets, that they should honor their price per foot as was quoted to me before I purchased. They then said they can pick up all the material but I will have to pay a 20% restocking fee and the delivery fee. Another offer that they gave me is they would give me two additional pallets free of charge, but I would have to come get them, as they would not deliver, I already paid a delivery fee, and all the material to my calculations were not delivered. That would still only bring it up to 315 square feet which is still way less then the 500 square feet that I was quoted, and I would have to go get them. They offered 3 pallets at 300 and I pay delivery, again I payed for delivery already, and that would still be less then what i was quoted. I countered with send me the 2 free pallets plus an additional 5 pallets at the 100 a pallet ($500) for a total of 7 pallets for $500, which is close to the amount I needed in the first place with me still paying 500 more then was quoted. they said no. I then asked if they could pick up their material and refund me completely and they still refused, still wanting to charge the 20% restock and the shipping. DO NOT GO HERE BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS BEING USED. read more
