We have two young children and needed a second vehicle. Biggest mistake of my life coming to Finish Line! Turns out BOTH of the vehicles have issues! Within HOURS of having the Land Rover the TRANSMISSION light came on. They said it was no problem and they could fix it. Took it back the next day to get "fixed" and the transmission is STILL faulty. The vehicle will kick out of gears on the free way, check engine light always on. So unbelievable. The second vehicle, Nissan Leaf, an electric vehicle, that loses charge? When I left my house it said I had 60 miles.. by the time I was on the freeway the numbers quickly dipped until I was at 5!!! BROKE DOWN ON THE BOZEMAN PASS WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK WITH MY CHILDREN INSIDE! The worst part? This dealership will do NOTHING about it! Im done playing games. First, time and time again I've seen these guys bring in great car after great car and they ALWAYS seem to make sure that all the service gets done, that the tires are good, etc. Second, I feel that NO company can always foresee all the possible problems a car can have. When you buy any car you take a chance. I bought four 3/4 ton Ford trucks in about 10 years and 3 were not great... but I am mechanically inclined and felt that the fact that I had bought cheaper older trucks and early diesels at that, was in the end my own problem. Now fast forward to Ryan at Peak Cars. I had finally decided I had enough of old trucks and wanted a Toyota 4Runner. I looked at a lot but the best two or three I found were at Peak Cars. I bought a 1998 4runner with 152,000 miles on it from Ryan. I'd guess that was about 12 Years ago. Within a week or two I had a problem. I took it to Ressler and they called me 4 hours later saying I owed them $150.00 and it was still not fixed. At this point they said I would have to bring it back and they would just start replacing parts. I called Ryan and he felt bad but told me to call Keith at Rising Sun Toyota. Keith immediately knew what the problem was after I explained the symptoms. He charged me $35.00 to fix it two days later after he got the part. A simple switch in the back door was causing it. I still have that 4Runner, but it now has 338,000 miles on it. $8500.00 for almost 200,000 miles. What a deal! The car would still sell for over $4000.00 I'm sure but it's worth more than that to me. Then we went to see Ryan about a Volvo XC70 in 2012. We bought that car and have had some minor issues but all in all simple maintenance type work and replacements is all. We have put just about 100,000 miles on that car and it is still a good car. So now we are ready for another vehicle. Where would you go? Yes. We are buying an awesome 2006 Lexus GX470 from Ryan. Who else! These experiences are the only way I know Ryan but the integrity he has shown me over the years and the great car buys I've gotten have made a believer out of me! I never have any trouble getting ahold of these guys. Oh and their mechanic is awesome. He has always given me great advice! One last thing. These guys don't build a lot of profit into their deals. They will usually deal a little but they will be honest and up front and you don't have to play games. The price they ask is fair and they are usually willing to deal just a little. If you feel the need to wheel and deal and play games go somewhere else. Peak cars is there to offer a good car at a decent price. They don't play those games and I'm happy about that. These guys have a very nice selection of quality, clean used cars at decent prices. Matt was great to deal with and would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from him in the future. This car really brings me back to my 1981 GMC truck days and working on it with upgrades and mods. I really couldn't have asked for a better deal and it fit all my criteria perfectly. The entire encounter was rushed and he tried to get me in and out as quick as possible saying as little as he could...treating me completely subhuman. I was just a task. This isn't how you treat people and I would never ever buy cars from a business that sends out scams. Isn't it called onsite auto service? Then, they informed me that they got the wrong windshield for the pickup, would have to reschedule. We brought them to Belgrade, 30 miles from home. Took the pickup to their shop a week later (to avoid a "mobile " fee)where they broke the front apron in front of the windshield, and when I left the air coming through the bottom was louder than the truck going down the interstate. Bad seal, tech blamed it on a seized wiper. Weird, they're new and work perfectly. Sitting here for hours. No offer to replace broken piece or offer a discount. I understand that things happen, but one thing after another isn't acceptable. Won't return to this place or recommend them to anyone.
