Our waitress was kind, friendly, and gave us a helpful overview of the menu before taking our drink order. We ordered a chocolate milk, a coffee, and the star of the day -- the Secret Garden Apple Cake. It arrived warm, loaded with caramel and real apple pieces. It's definitely a dessert meant for sharing -- huge in size and even bigger in flavor! If you're in town and craving something sweet, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

I sent some idea photos and what I got was beyond perfect. Simple. Lovely. Perfect. THEN I ate the cake! A vanilla cake. Like what can you expect but OMG! It's a vanilla like I've never had. This is stab your granny for the recipe good! Honest! My hubby has NO sweet tooth but he gorged this down like a starving man eating slabs! It became a competition of who can eat more before it's gone! And now--well Everytime we are up we get a small cake and indulge. Even if we are just popping through the cupcake version is just as amazing. Look, I have no idea what is in this vanilla but it's AMAZING. You tell ME how they take vanilla cake- as basic as it gets- and turn it to incredible. I'm not even going to talk about everything else I've had I. The shop since then like macaroons, cinnamon rolls, that s'mores cupcake (drool). I'm just goi g to say Go! You will not regret it and whoever you bring treats home to will feel loved! We started off with the meatball appetizer, which was wonderfully seasoned and delicious right out of the gate. For our mains, I ordered the meat lasagna it definitely did not disappoint, using that same fantastic, flavorful meat as the appetizer. My wife had the lobster ravioli, which had a lovely depth to it; it started out mild and finished with a distinct, delicious lobster flavor. My youngest daughter had the stuffed shells, and my oldest thoroughly enjoyed the chicken Parm special. The highlight of the meal was the dessert sampler. It sparked a lively debate across the table on which was the best. The consensus put the tiramisu in first place, closely followed by the sea salt caramel gelato, though the cannoli was also delicious. Getting the combo was the perfect choice because it allowed us to try a little bit of everything. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Pasta Market to anyone in the Blue Ridge area!

The sauce is not to my Italian taste. But it will be great for an American pallet. The brochette was excellent and the bread perfect but it has chopped garlic. The espresso was a long Americano with great taste. The chicken parm was late coming out, I was fine but they insisted on taking 10% off. Our server was fantastic., attentive but not hovering. Our friend picked the restaurant because she loved the quiet and inside garden feel. Go for lunch and enjoy a fantastic atmosphere.

I appreciated that they said that up front. As anyone with hangry kids knows, sitting and waiting awhile for food can be so much fun. We had snacks and in-laws willing to wait to save any meltdowns. I am glad we waited and the kids were too. They got some chicken nuggets and a grilled cheese, which was gooey and perfectly hot for the cold day. My wife got the regular burger and fries while I got the Bacon Pimento (house made) Cheeseburger with tots and some jalapeños. It was delicious. I wish I could have asked for it more rare but it was cooked "well" but nothing close to dry. The bacon was also crispy, which made me happy, because no one wants limp bacon on their burger or bizkit...The pimento cheese was the real winner and I could get extra on the side or to take home.
