Had to hire an attorney in October to finish the pool. they rushed the job and poured the plaster poorly causing defects, having issues with the pump and lights now. At the end of the project their electrician started showing up with a pistol. Can't make this up. Lawyer advised not to come back on property. Unethical and con artist. This was a terrible experience for replastering our pool. The short story is that their communication and scheduling were poor. Because of this, we were without a swimmable pool for a lengthy time in the summer. Their plaster job was subpar. Certain items were in our contract they ultimately could not do. Right after completion, white spots appeared that the salesperson said would be taken care of but were not. The owners were unresponsive. I rarely write a bad review, but I feel this is well deserved, and people should be forewarned. read more

I called to speak with someone. A lady Took the message and didn't call back sooo zero for being responsive. Also sh wouldn't send someone out to give us pool ideas on our property since she had a preconceived idea of the project. THEY WOULDN'T EVEN COME OUT TO THE PROPERTY. We hired Blue Pacific Pools to resurface our pool in March or April 2021. On May 17, they drained our pool and worked for a couple of days removing the plaster. Then silence. Not a word. I reached out on May 27, and they seemed unaware that the demo work had been done. Then the delays and excuses about new tile began. Eventually, the new tile was installed around June 10. We were told that our pool light could not be replaced without expensive excavation and they suggested we allow them to remove the light and fill in the hole. Not knowing how unusual this approach was, we agreed. They removed the light, shoved bricks in the hole and plastered it. Then silence again. We've reached out and have been given multiple excuses about materials delays, though all we need at this point is plaster. Is plaster in short supply? Here we are on July 10 with no pool. They did come last week after I think they caught wind of us trying to engage another company to finish their job. Unfortunately, all of the reputable companies are booked for months. After we complained of the mosquito breeding ground puddle in the pool, they made an effort to drain the puddle, but couldn't completely accomplish that task for some reason, so they threw some acid in the remaining puddle, and now our worry about our dogs drinking nasty green bacteria water has morphed into worry about them drinking acid water. We understand that there have been some rain delays, but 8 weeks (as of now) with an empty pool in the middle of the summer is beyond unreasonable. We were told this whole process would take 1 week. Had we known this nightmare was in store for us we would have waited until the fall. We most certainly would not have hired Blue Pacific. read more

This was NOT a pleasant experience at all. We signed a contract fall 2021 to have the plaster redone, new tile, and the beach entry redone. The plaster crew caused damages to my property, the beach entry and walls had stains on them, and the wall cleaner unit had plaster in the threads so the cleaner could not be attached. The project manager failed to have the water balanced when the pool was filled. Failed to add the sequestrant as the pool was filling, failed in having the plaster company repair their damages. He finally had the Pool Maintenance Guide sent to us five days after the pool was filled. They kept saying the beach entry stains were "mottling" and normal. Black stains on light brown is not mottling and I had to have another pool expert tell them so. It took five months to have them finally remove the stains, fix the threads in the wall cleaner, and pay for the damages to the property. I refused to pay unless they did what they promised. Owner is out of California. Stay local. You get better service. read more
