Even though the employee that answered the phone sounded extremely overwhelmed with many phone calls, I felt like I was the only customer she had all day. She was sweet as pie and very reassuring. She told me that due to approaching storm that numerous other clients had ordered propane replenishment before me but that they would deliver after the hurricane passed. I said ok and booked my refueling. I should not have let my tank run to 30%. Lesson learned. My new goal is to keep it always at 80%. Yesterday morning, on Saturday, my dogs' incessant barking woke me up early. It was a Ridge Propane delivery driver to refill my underground propane tank. I was surprised since I was informed about my delivery after the hurricane passed & when things got back to normal. I greeted the gentleman with a wide smile & some bewilderment. He was super friendly. He mentioned that the company brought in out of state personnel, like him, to help aide in fulfilling all their fuel deliveries. Now that is customer service. Other propane outfits I had reached out to also promised delivery after the storm some 7 days out from my initial call. Ridge Propane really cares about the community they serve. We delivered the check and I received a text informing me they were just placing the order (June 29th, 5 days before July 4th). When I told them what Steve told me, they apologized for his miscommunication and said they cannot do that... but they were happy to get full payment. The worst part about their policies, and banks will confirm, a Homeowner's Association has basic, guaranteed funds as the Florida statute requires owners to pay their assessments... we receive some of the best bank loans, if ever needed... It is located in a warehouse under the Miami Metrorail. They filled the propane tank in a jiffy but when I went in to pay I was astounded by all their cool fishing gear. If you are a salt water fisherman you have to check them out. The name of the business doesn't even hint at the water sportsman paradise that awaits you here. The inside of the warehouse was filled with fishing lures, fishing rods, coolers, ice, filleting knives, line, bags, cleaners, frozen bait and tackle. I was surprised to find all of this great fishing gear underneath the Miami Metrorail. The family running this business were such nice people that I have to give them a shout out. If you need to refill your BBQ propane tank they can do that too. I paid $20 less to fill the tank here than I do in Broward. If you need propane or any salt water fishing gear, come out and support this great business.

He also shared measures they've already and still plan to enact to remedy some of the issues I ran into originally. While there were some communications challenges throughout the installation process, the overall professionalism and competence of staff is very good. In my recent interactions, they have demonstrated that they do care about customer service and satisfaction. Their billing invoices are still somewhat confusing and vague, but they are working on making them better. I would like to publicly acknowledge two people on our job that went above and beyond. First was Jose who did the installation, he identified that the lines didn't have to run the attic and other site survey errors that saved us time and pain. He was personable and professional and took pride in his work. The other was Tara who assisted us in identifying and rectifying billing errors and took the time to call and discuss each of my concerns in detail.

The reason I choice Propane Ninja was because they have their own meter monitor the propane gas tank. They have better rating then their competition and I don't need to worry about looking at the meter each week. Scheduling a delivery is automated. In addition, using their app I can see the % of gas remaining in the tank and because I know the gas level, I can be assured there are no leaks and if there are they will fix it as part of their small monthly fee.
