Do not, I repeat, do not sign up for Blue Mountain Networks if you live in North Bonneville. The service has been horrible for years, but the last few months... it's been so bad. In the last 5 days, we haven't had WiFi for at least 4 full days. It's insane! I've been hot spotting from my phone for everything. And I work from home. I'm not the only one in North Bonneville suffering either. It sounds like the entire city is down right now! When you call, they're rude. I refuse to even speak to them on the phone because of it. You're probably wondering, why don't you just switch services? We can't! Starlink is the only other option with over 100 MBPS speeds and it's over $850 to get started. I am almost ready to go without WiFi or I'm going to move out of North Bonneville entirely. Blue mountain networks is the worst business I've ever dealt with! read more

I use my bank's on line payment system with which to pay bills. I don't want anyone but myself to have access to this account. Nor do I want to pay bills by credit card because I want to be in charge of my money - not someone or something else. Blue Mountain Network's billing system is anything but transparent. For SEVERAL months I have received emails from the company threatening cancellation because "payment was returned to our processing center due to an invalid payee address." Today I called billing - once again - to solve the incorrect remittance-address-problem and was told the ONLY way to pay each month, besides credit card, was for the company to portal into my checking account to remove funds. Why was I not told of this "policy" at the beginning of service which was, again, several months ago? So much time wasted every month. Service has been okay but I am outraged by the lack of honesty, and difficulty getting to the "solution" and hope BMN is not the only game in town (Hood River) because sadly I am looking for a different service provider. read more

I am writing review for BMN due to the poor service and unreliable network. And when I sent a clear letter to BMN of my cancelation of the service prior to a new bill cycle asking to cancel my account before the next billing cycle, BMN ignored request, billed me anyway and when I disputed the charge BMN ignored my certified mail and in turn sent it to collections which is where it is now. I am working through the mess created by BMN and would encourage all to be automated BMN billing and service. My experience with BMN was poor at best. read more

Very sporadic service on fiber in Moro. We loose connection almost daily. Seems if the wind is blowing then it is likely to go out.

I had a very poor experience with Blue Mountain Networks. I recently moved to Hood River and needed wifi set up in my condo. Because there weren't many options that covered my area I landed on Blue Mountain. It started off well, they said they could meet up for an install a few days after I ordered and they would come within a 4 hour time frame on that day. When the day came I waited for the whole 4 hour period with no communication from them. When nobody came I called and asked and they sited "outages" as the issue and rescheduled the install for another afternoon. Sure, whatever, shit happens. So the next day came and I waited around all day. Again nobody and came and there was no communication so I called and "outages" were to blame again. Rescheduling a third time we set a date for a couple days later (we are two weeks from my original call now, working from home with a phone hotspot). The third appointment arrived and nobody came within the 4 hour window so i called again and they reassured me that the technicians were simply late but would arrive soon! Okay, good, wifi is on the way. 2 hour later the techs arrived and inspected where they could install the dish, only to find that a lone pine tree stood between my balcony and their service gear in the hills and they could not provide me service and were very sorry for the inconvenience. So that's two weeks of waiting around, calling, pulling my hair out and in the end nothing but poor service and no wifi. AND as a cherry on top they recommend another provider whom I called that day and also didn't provide in my area. I ended up getting in touch with spectrum and they were able to simply ship me a router package and I will be setting that up when it arrives soon. I'm a very patient person, turns out Blue Mountain Networks is just a very poor company. read more

I am a current Blue Mountain customer in Hood River. I currently have DSL service on the west side of town but I am hoping to switch to fiber. I called and Alicia very politely let me know that I have the fastest speed at the moment but will let me know when it is time for an upgrade. This merge between Blue Mountain Networks (BMN) and Gorge net has been total disaster. First they made changes to email settings that had the entire Gorge net folks totally lost and had to call private computer internet techs to solve before they could get on line. I called BMN and ask their techs for help and their answer was we don't know what to do management is not telling us when they make changes. Next try filling out the form BMN offers on line if you have questions. I have filled out a few and to date never received an answer to even one of them. If you can afford it and have the means get away from Blue Mountain Networks. One more, their AD platform to post an ad and the ease of the public to find it in classifieds sucks. read more

Absolutely the worst internet provider out there. Customer service is a joke you can't even talk to anyone local the calls are all routed overseas. When you cancel their service they come and remove the satellite dish and refuse to remove the cable they installed and screwed into your roof and siding of your house, they just leave it hanging there. ​​​​ read more

Wish there was "zero stars" because that's where I'd rate them. Been trying for over 3 MONTHS to get service. First trip out they tried to run the cable through the wrong conduit (the ends were two diiferent sizes...should have been the first clue for them!) Second time, they couldn't t get a signal, the third time they got a signal and pulled the wire for hookup. We had a fourth appointment set to hook it up and waited for the techs...and no show. Called and were told the tech was held up, but she would forward our concerns to all supervisors and managers...3 hours later, no contact at all from anyone! We now have decided to stick with Spectrum even though more $$$'s, at least they're responsive. I would stay far away from Blue Mountain unless you like being ignored and hearing dozens of excuses why no one can complete a simple task. This business is a clown show. read more

Recently, Blue Mountain took over my provider: Gorgenet. Shortly after, those of us, including the business that used their fiber speeds lost service. Turned out they were closed on the weekend and it was not even possible to leave a message. I called several times Saturday and several more times on Sunday. I was out for 2 full days! Used my cellular data on my phone to report the issue on their website. Never heard from anyone. I called twice Monday morning and the tech on the other end said he hadn't heard about any outage in our area. Not only did BM not tell it's customers what was happening, they didn't tell their techs! Best they could say was unplug all the internet equipment, wait 30 seconds and plug it in again. We had already done that multiple times. I was told he would turn in a report and someone else would get back to me. They haven't yet. read more

What a laugh! Misleading and dishonest website Blue mountain is advertising $35 for 300 mbps, yet I pay $89.99 for 25mbps. Called to upgrade speed and lower cost and talked to someone not even local, as in accent in India! Basically told me to pack sand and not available in my area but it's what is advertised! But ALL you CURRENT CUSTOMERS should call and get you monthly bill reduced!!! No one should pay more than $35 if you're not getting at least 300mbps. In doing research which everyone should it looks like the CEO is a thief and forgery and has multiple legal issues on internet for public viewing his name is on the website. This is an example of how these people do business! Not only do the screw over customers but other employees and employers he has. I had great service before with Sureline, but searching for the website took me to blue mountain. I called TDS and T-Mobile. Went to T-Mobile and no credit check no contracts local office no data overages use all you want and paid $50 all in less than 10 minutes! Got home plugged in the device which took two minutes and it was free; instant internet! 504 mbps speed test result! TDS offered same pricing but didn't want to wait for install. Go with T-Mobile residence internet! Great customer service and support and no equipment on my house any longer. No outage or service issues in the month I've had T-Mobile. $50 a month and I actually get over the speed of 300mbps! read more

We have been Gorge.net customers for over 20 years, we do not live in the area anymore but still use them for our email, we were unaware they sold to Blue Mountain Networks so when we received an email from them we deleted it having no idea who they were, we have been paying $9 for 3 months service for the last 7 years, we received an invoice in the mail charging us for being late paying for the September to November service, we received this letter on September 12th. We are being charged for the service,plus late fee of 7.50, $3 for receiving a paper invoice, $2.01 for "previous balance x one, " if we pay by check there will be a paper check processing fee of $5, we have been trying to get ahold of someone who will help, for three days. Three different people have been talked to, twice while talking to someone, we were disconnected, one of those people promised to call back but hasn't, three times I have left voicemails for someone to call, no one has, the manager has not been available and has not contacted us. We do not feel we should have to pay all the extra fees. We would like to pay our bill as we have always done on time with a check, barring that arrange a way to pay for the service, but since we have had so many issues we no longer wish to do business with them, so we really don't want to set up automatic payments. read more
