Before the cleaning even happened, the team was super communicative and made me feel like everything was totally under control. And when they were done... wow. I hired them to clean the house I was renting, and I'm pretty sure it ended up cleaner than when we moved in. A bathroom I thought was beyond saving looked bright and white again. The kitchen (well loved for five years) looked almost brand new. Even the wood floors were taken care of so well, which I know my landlord appreciated. Pure Gorge Cleaning was very good with the cleaning they did. My problem is with the pricing. On the invoice itself it stated estimate to be 520 to 780 for 10 to 12 cleaning hours. I looked at that to calulate to be 65 an hour but you need to make sure you read the email they send. You are going to be charged 65 an hour per person. I had 2 techs with one in training. They work total 5 hours so it came to 650.00. Which means you are paying 130 hour for 2 people. It would have been nice to see that break down on the estimate invoice. You are paying 65 per person an hour for cleaning. From the invoice I thought I was paying 65 an hour for 2 people. I would have not moved forward if I understood it better the price was too high. Lesson learned read everything and ask questions so you totally understand what your cost will be. read more

I've been lucky enough to have the cleaning team from Pure Gorge Cleaning for about 8 months now, and they've been terrific! Among the things I've appreciated: - There's a team of cleaning specialists that come to the house, with one person who's the "team lead." This "team lead" helps direct the others, and always checks in on anything in particular that needs attention. Our lead (Mysty) has been thorough and professional, bringing a lot of care to the process and really helping keep the house shining. - There's always a walk-through at the end, where the lead points out things the team paid special attention to, or what they'll work on more next time. - They use environmentally-friendly products, which leaves the house smelling great and is better for the planet. - Invoices come in and can be paid easily online, which is very convenient. During the time that Pure Gorge has handled our cleaning, we've had various remodeling projects underway, which has created a lot of challenges, including dust, rooms blocked off, extra dirt brought into the house. They've been very helpful throughout this period. And in February, when we were all buried in snow, they were thoughtful about providing advance notice when the weather was too bad for travel, but made a real effort to get to the house as soon as it was safe and feasible. Over many many years, I've worked with a variety of cleaning teams (in both Illinois and California), from individuals to franchises. I have found that Kate and her teams are among the best. There isn't any slackening from month to month as people settle into a "routine," and though this is not an inexpensive service, it provides a fair wage to people who are hard-working pro's at what they're doing.
