There was plenty of food, drinks, dancing, and mingling. The Palm Tree Club staff were great, and the venue was well laid out and worked for this event very well. When we arrived around 7 PM on a weekday for our event, we first grabbed some tables and chairs, went up and ordered some drinks from the bar, and enjoyed some music until our hosts opened the buffet lines to the food including salads, appetizers, sides, and entrees. Some of our group sat on their nice, scenic patios while others were right in the heart of the restaurant near the music and bar. The food was great, and the service moved as quickly as they could with a large group gathered at the bar. There was never a lineup at the restrooms, and other than walking around the bar, it was easy to get around the restaurant during the event. The Palm Tree Club is considered to be an "elevated tropic escape in the heart of Orlando" where you can indulge in fresh flavors, vibrant cocktails, and a chic coastal atmosphere. They serve fresh seafood and vibrant desserts along with other food and drink options. They have world-class music in a large open area that can certainly turn into a party vibe. They host Girl Dinner Thursdays every Thursday from 5 PM to 10 PM, where for $25, you can get a choice of martini, prosecco, or wine paired with fries and a Caesar salad. They also host Happy Hours every weekday from 4 PM to 7 PM, where they serve half price global snacks and chef's featured selections including specials on all spirits plus select draft beers and wines. His depth of knowledge was very impressive, like a skilled tour guide. He also made helpful recommendations and ensured all our needs were met with satisfaction. As for the food, it was good yet short of excellent. All of us agreed we have had the dish done better somewhere else, but it was still enjoyable. Everyone really liked the calamari and I ate more bread than I intended because the dipping pesto was yummy. In addition to not receiving, correct and incomplete orders, when it was time to check out, the bills were wrong. Even though we bought up these concerns to our waitress, she offered an excuse at every pass instead of just apologizing and trying to do what she could to make it better. Also, be aware and pay close attention to your bill. Based on the way your order is entered into the system, it can cost more than what is stated on the menu. I will say, this location is very open and probably great for a girls night out or family dining. Also, one of the staples, the croissants... were not good at all this time!
