I made an appointment at 3 and stopped by early to see if he could squeeze me in. My flat piercing got angry overnight and I was in town so went to this shop to get a longer post swapped for my flat. He was able to quickly swap out my post for a slightly longer one and immediately my ear got less angry/red. It was only $20 for the post. But then I shopped his jewelry selection, and the earrings are really well displayed and bright! I ended up buying an earring for my conch, and he was able to also squeeze me in to change my earring for me between appointments. If he has a full day of appointments, expect to wait (or come back another day) but if you wait, there's a small chance he can squeeze you in, depending on what you need and what his appointments are having done. Highly recommend looking at his earring selection (beautiful gold pieces) but they have gold prices...so also expect to pay if you buy any earrings. He didn't pierce me. But when he did my flat post swap, he was very careful and surprisingly it didn't hurt like I expected it to. For my conch earring swap, it was a little uncomfortable but he was also very careful to make sure the earring was on nice and tight. I would recommend this shop and Joe!

I had a very good experience here with my first tattoo and a piercing. However, my tattoo has a…read morebunch of weird white bumps on it now - who's to say whether it's from the ink or it's just my skin? However, the tattoos I have gotten from other places do not have these bumps. The next tattoo I got was also good, however the same white bumps appeared a few months later. The NEXT tattoo I got was a disaster. It was immediately infected with staph., which I initially thought was because my dog had touched it or something. However, after speaking with two doctors and a dermatologist, I found out that it was so bad that the only way it could have entered my body was while I was being tattooed. What was the reaction from the staff members? I talked to the tattoo artist and he said that he was sorry and hoped that I recovered quickly, but I NEVER heard ANYTHING from him again. I posted pictures on Facebook of what had happened but did not blame the shop or artist, and didn't actually provide any identifying information about where I had gotten the tattoo - I just wanted to share the horror with my friends since I was such a shitty situation. In return, I was asked by a staff member (not the owner, not a manager, not either of the people who had given me tattoos, nor the person who pierced me, but a different person who had never provided me with a service) to take the picture down since it "made them look bad". He was polite about it and apologized for what had happened to me and thanked me for taking it down. The next time I went in, about a week later, one staff member asked to leave the shop because it was seen as unsanitary. No one contacted me after this exchange. Because no one contacted me again, I was never able to tell them what the doctors had told me, which was that the infection entered my body while I was being tattooed. Although I had good experiences here, almost losing a limb was more than enough for me to NEVER return here.

Evan drew something up even with his very busy schedule. There were a couple flowers I didn't care for and he had no ego and changed them with no problems. The end results was better than I imagined! We arrived in this super low key spot in Sebastopol. I immediately was drawn to the aesthetics inside. Jess was welcoming and really nice. Jess covered the procedure and aftercare in detail. We picked out jewelry. They have a bunch of options. We wanted gold. I went with a cute piece from this brand Juniper that's made in Canada that composed of a cluster with opal and CZ for my double helix. Every purchase they plant a juniper. Loved that. From this visit, I found out that an orbital consists of two piercings and decided to go with one. It's all I could take. My girlfriend chose hers, super cute crescent moon for her conch. Within 30 mins we were off and ready to go. Jess sent us home with saline sprays. Unfortunately, my ear ended up swelling and it was super painful for a couple days. I contacted Jess and she changed my post to give more room. No infection, my ear is back to normal. Super grateful Jess was able to see me. Whatever you do, don't touch your piercing and be careful of snagging. An irritated piercing isn't necessarily an infected one. I'm looking forward to getting more piercings! Jess is someone to trust in getting one done with care and comfort. Super happy and more than satisfied we came here.
