Probably the worst tattoo parlor to go to, they are money hungry and will not tell you prices and are extremely rude, I would highly recommend to never go here the it's "tattoo parlor " will only do a tattoo if they want to or if they like it seems to me that they can fill a simple request and if you dont have time for the whole tattoo that day oh shit forget about it, and listen to this I went in on a friday at 1PM and obviously they didnt have anyone in there cause they suck I asked to get a tattoo and the dummy with the bandanna said "okay hold on can you come back in 30 I need to go get a coffee" lol god damn there was no one there all day man up and tattoo me you dont need a damn Starbucks coffee girl were I come from if someone ask for a service your offering you give them your full attention and get it done to them it seems like it's more about them than the customers will not go there ever again i have lived in Petaluma 10 years and have never been more disappointed in a local business i will never tell anyone to go here and i will make it my priority to spread the word about this disgusting buisness they will soon know they need to stop being entitled tattoo mudcrickets. read more

I have been into Electric Oni twice now. And both times had an amazing experience. My first time I was blown away when I first walked in. This is by far the most beautiful shop I have seen. It is also the cleanest shop I have been in. I was greeted nicely and promptly by Richard Quecke, who took the time to talk, and then immediately draw something up for me. Both of the pieces I had done were small and he was able to fit me in. I felt very comfortable inside the shop. Rich explained everything to me before we started and talked to me throughout. I left both times with a beautiful piece of art on my body. And a sound mind that I made a good choice in going there. read more

In full disclosure, Khal is mah boy! He did my first tattoo when I was 17 at some hole-in-the-wall place on Mission in Hayward! That wassss 15-16 years ago?? Damn time flies! He's tattooed a couple of my friends and I'm always getting asked where my work was done. When I tell people to go see Khal in Petaluma you'd think I told them he was on mars! Lol Khal's shop is a beaut. It's a work of art itself! I've walked in to some shops that you wouldn't even want to use the bathroom in let alone get tattooed at. This is not that place. I originally started my tattoo sleeve with Nico on June 29, 2024, and paid for the work in full. Unfortunately, what should have been an exciting experience turned into nearly two years of frustration, disappointment, and unfinished work. At my very first appointment, I was scheduled for noon, only to discover I had been double-booked. My session didn't begin until approximately 3 PM. Despite this, I continued giving Nico the benefit of the doubt because I trusted him to complete the work I had already paid for. After a long gap between appointments, I returned on May 9, 2026. At another appointment on May 23, I was double-booked again, waited over four hours, and received approximately one hour of tattoo work. Throughout my experience, there were late starts, frequent smoke breaks, difficulty communicating, and what felt like a general lack of consideration for my time. My appointment on June 6, 2026, was another disappointment when Nico failed to show up. I later learned he was attending an event. My attempts to contact him went unanswered, including messages through Instagram. What makes this especially disappointing is that I had already paid for my sleeve in full and even tipped him at nearly every session. I was patient, understanding, and respectful of his time, but unfortunately, that same respect was not returned. What disappoints me most is that after everything, Nico never once reached out to apologize, follow up, or offer to make things right. To this day, I have never heard from him. I eventually had no choice but to find another tattoo artist to continue the sleeve I had already paid Nico to complete. Thankfully, I've found someone who is professional, reliable, and finally bringing my vision to life. After nearly two years, I'm finally seeing the progress I had hoped for from the beginning. Tattooing isn't just about artistic ability. It's also about professionalism, communication, reliability, and respecting clients who trust you with their money, time, and bodies. I gave Nico nearly two years of patience, understanding, and opportunities. I wasn't asking for special treatment, just the work I paid for and basic respect for my time. I genuinely wanted this experience to work out, and I wish things had turned out differently. Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Nico. I hope sharing my experience encourages better communication, professionalism, and accountability for future clients.
