Large Wild Mushroom
Alayna K.

Solid pizzas (we tried the mushroom one and another one that was tomato based). Definitely get the honey on the side and mike's hot honey. The mushroom one was a favorite and delicious -- the mushroom flavor was strong in a good way. Apps: Spinach artichoke dip was decent -- very creamy and not too much artichoke. 6.5/10 The pretzel was a miss, not too soft. 5/10

Delivery through Uber Eats was quick, however I was a bit disappointed that the pizza box didn't have any security seal or tape on it. For delivery, it would feel a lot safer knowing the box is properly sealed to ensure nothing was tampered with during transit. The quality and taste were great, just hoping they add security seals in the future for extra peace of mind!

Bi Blue Line (Aka Little Star)

Picked up takeout late on a Friday evening. The server was very friendly and helpful. I inquired about the gluten-free crust, and she suggested the cauliflower crust as another option. She mentioned it was one of her favorite and preferred crusts so I went with it. I really enjoyed the pizza! I ordered the Little Star on cauliflower crust. It came out hot, and quickly. The flavors were good (strong onion but I like that). The crust was crispy. Indoors was spacious; pretty quiet and empty but it almost 9PM. I've been to Blue Line sparsely over the years and it's always been a hit for me. The cost for a small was around $30 which was on the pricey side so this is not a regular stop for me but an ocasional treat.

Slightly on the pricey side, but really solid pizza and has some nice happy hour deals. I'd recommend the pesto. Deep dish is excellent. Pictured is some vegetarian deep dish pizza, I think it might have been called fall harvest? Bottom left option of the specialty pizzas. Really good. I always assumed deep dish was best with lots of meat but the best two I've had now were vegetarian with caramelized onions and feta

I love this place! They are always so attentive and nice when we come in. The food is always delicious and comes out at a reasonable time. The deep dish is always a good choice! Beer is good and honestly prices are great! Definitive give it a try.

Meatball Pizza

The last time I ate at Blue Line was pre-pandemic. No idea what to expect with the passage of so much time since my last visit. Only a couple of tables were occupied and post-COVID, there were a lot less tables in general and plenty of open area. We were seated right away--our choice of table. Our server, Robbie greeted us and was so friendly. We talked about the different pizzas and whether to go for deep dish or thin crust. I love a white sauce pizza but I'm also a big fan of their meatball pizza with the scoops of ricotta cheese on top and cornmeal crust. We eventually settled for the meatball pizza. Once our pizza was served, I asked for some honey to dip my cornmeal crust and Robbie agreed with me--we bonded immediately over the honey. The first thing I noticed about the pizza was the ricotta cheese--it was small dollops; I remember it with generous scoops--times have changed. The crust was crisp and delicious when eaten dipped in honey--you need to enjoy the salty/sweet combo--it's not a taste for everyone. The pizza was tasty; just enough sauce with tiny sized meatballs scattered about the pizza. The small pizza was enough for 2 of us--we each get 3 slices or about half a pizza. Overall, a very tasty pizza and I would return.

Spicy Chicken Wings
Yarely S.

The chicken wings were SEASONED and spicy! We got a deep-dish pizza--half pesto chicken and half Chicago chop. I would definitely recommend the pesto chicken. The chicken was nicely chopped, and the flavors mixed so well. We added spicy honey to the Chicago chop! Also, the waiters were super kind and helpful. This is definitely a place to go yap in peace environment { if you get a corner table hehe }

chicken and garlic
Debbie W.

We ordered take out. This is my first time ordering here. My daughter likes chicken so I ordered chicken and garlic deep dish pizza. That was a mistake because it had nothing else (no peppers or basil or anytning else). I didn't realize by saying chicken and garlic I was ordering a build our own pizza. I should have ordered the new chicken and bacon with cheese, bell peppers, etc. or any of the other prepared pizzas on the menu. (Don't make the mistake I made) The large serves 4-5 but at about 14" I was surprised how small it was. It helps that it's pre-sliced. It depends on your appetite but if each person eats 2 slices then it would only feed 4. Just keep that in mind. I almost forgot to take a picture -until we were halfway eating it (thus the pic shows only half a pizza). We enjoyed the pizza. P.S. There is a huge bar presence when you walk in, pic is on their website too - in fact I had to ask I was at the right place.

Lunch 2/26/23 We are on the quest for the best Chicago Deep Dish Pizza in the Bay and ended up at Blue Line Pizza today. After getting our veggie intake for the day via the Arugula Salad with Mozzarella, Walnuts in a Strawberry Balsamic Dressing, we devoured the Chicago Chopped Deep Dish Pizza. Pepperoni, sausage, bacon and salami with cheese...how can you go wrong? We only had 2 slices each and were stuffed. The cornmeal crust was different than any deep dish I've ever had. It was good but the search continues for the best!

The eggs on the Benedict were poached perfectly, which I very much appreciate. Not only were they poached perfectly, but the eggs themselves were beautiful. Very fresh with that vibrant bright marigold color. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and delectable. The breakfast burger was amazing! It comes served on Filone bread which I thought went perfect with the burger. This bread is similar to ciabatta. Crusty on the outside, with a good chew on the inside. Firm enough to handle all the contents of the burger, but soft and chewy on the inside. The meat itself, chuck and brisket, was sensational. I'm not the type of person to ever order a burger without cheese but this burger could've definitely stood alone. Melted Monterey Jack, thick slices of bacon, fresh slices of avocado, and a perfectly cooked runny egg were just added bonuses. There was something on this burger that had a slight sweetness. I don't know if it was the samurai sauce that they put on it or the bacon, but it was delicious. I love that. It came served with a light salad tossed in vinaigrette as well. Coffee was served beautifully with a nice frothy head. Service was excellent. Attentive without being overbearing. Our server, Da, was so sweet and made our experience even that much more wonderful. Can't wait to come back. My one gripe was the size of the potatoes that came served with the eggs Benedict and the burger. This is not a cheap place to eat. For two of us to have breakfast with one coffee and an iced tea is $60 before tip. Don't be so chinsy on the tater tots and French fries. 10 tater tots? Come on now. It's not caviar. It's potatoes. I don't need a mountain of them just a decent portion. I almost knocked off a star for that, but everything else, specifically the service, warrants the five stars. Thank you for a wonderful meal and for the great hospitality.

We were seated at our reservation time and the staff was attentive. My issue is that the food options are now very basic. Eggs with tater tots, grilled chicken sandwich with fries, etc. I enjoyed my sandwich but I could get it at any pub. The decor also didn't give off "farm house" ambience, and the indoor dining room was fairly chilly. Not a bad place to eat, but nothing worth going out of my way for (at least for brunch).

The restaurant is on a little corner and the inside is so clean, with warm touches that feel like you could just sit and stay awhile. This is a small business and sort of like a shophouse. So know if you are going to try it, respect that it's not a commercialized restaurant. The owner takes pride in making a home cooked meal and one you will wish you could frequent often.
