    Chicken Skewer Kebab

This is the second time coming here. Service is always good and very attentive. Atmosphere is very chill quiet. onto the food I got kebabs. The chicken was super moist and not dry at all with a nice seasoning. It came with a side of hummus and tzatziki with side salad and rice. I don't know what they do to the tzatziki, but it feels so rich and pair so well with everything will definitely come again when I'm in the area give this a try if you are too.

Such a great discovery! Capo is a delightful, well-designed, tasty Mediterranean eatery that's quick-service style with all the friendly care and customer service of fine dining. Parking is a little tight at peak hours but has a private lot that it shares with the other storefronts on the strip. There is a modern all-gender bathroom that is clean and well maintained. The restaurant is clean, tastefully decorated, and enjoyable with lots of natural light and windows and both indoor and outdoor seating. I appreciate the visual menu which made it easy to pick something to order (except everything looks good which makes it harder). I ordered the beef koftedes plate (~$18) which comes with a pomegranate BBQ sauce, rice, salad with a light vinaigrette dressing, warm pita slices, yogurt dip. I also tried some of my sister's chicken kebab plate which was delicious. We also tried a plate of manti for the table ($16) and it was sooo good! Tiny bite size dumplings in a yogurt and sundried tomato sauce. Will be back again for sure...I'm curious about the seafood offerings!

Smoky babaganoush - Definitely worth ordering this side!!!!

Review had 4.8 in Google - Had to try the place. It did not disappoint! We had Spitfire Beef & Lamb (RICE) Small serving of meat but the flavor made up for it! My husband was not fond of the pink dressing - I on the other hand, I found it refreshing. Yoplait dressing with a light taste. Beef Koftedes (RICE) It wasn't dry! Seasoning was spot on! The portion was a good amount! Smoky babaganoush - Definitely worth ordering this side!!!! My husband inhaled it! And the pita bread was light and airy and fresh!!! Check this place out if you are in the area!

I would like to thank Mr Emre very much for his attention; everything was incredible. I particularly recommend the chips and salad.

If you want some of the best Mediterranean food, fresh, well prepared and super tasty in great prices - look no further. Seriously this place is a must! We've probably ate the whole menu here and everything is great. The falafels are to die for.

When did you guys start doing business?

Have you re-opened yet? I'm hoping to place a small catering order for an event on March 26th! I've tried calling but haven't had any luck getting in touch with someone.

Hello Mary! Yes we will be open in a week or so please give me a call at (650) 521-4868 my name is Serhat

Only gourmets know the difference between ground beef gyro and steak beef gyro. I ordered 2 times from Capo and 1 time I had a chance to get steak beef gyro, the other time I got ground beef gyro. Which beef type do they use in their gyros usually?

    We use Yaprak gyro!

I came in this past Saturday (in the rain and recovering from surgery) because I just needed to be at my favorite restaurant. The moment we walked in, they greeted us warmly and still remembered us, even though we hadn't been in for about three years. That kind of care means everything. The food is unmatched. The lamb is incredible. The potato appetizer with the meat sauce is our all-time favorite. The shrimp on the combination skewers are huge and full of flavor. The warm bread and perfectly cooked rice make every meal feel comforting and special. The service is amazing, the family who owns it is so kind, and the whole place has a welcoming, homey vibe. There is no Afghan food around here that compares. This will always be our favorite spot for special occasions. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out.

The kebabs here are cooked to perfection and are served with bread and rice to soak up the flavor from the kebabs. I also highly recommend kadu, the combination of pumpkin, yogurt?, and meat sauce is delightful! To round it off the firnee was a wonderful dessert creamy with slivers of almond, spiced with cinnamon, and deliciously floral! The service is also absolutely amazing! Everyone is extremely friendly and willing to chat (assuming it's not too busy). The decor is also absolutely beautiful, one side of the restaurant is filled with paintings and traditional clothes from Afghanistan and the other side has large windows that let in a lot of natural light!

We got it to go for us already multiple times and I absolutely love their chicken breast (it's flavorful) and so is their rice (super delicious); their hummus is the best hummus ever - it's tangy, bright, fresh and delicious (my only comment is to please add less oil on top of the hummus and it would make it even more phenomenal!) I have tried their beef kebab, and their beef shawarma, but chicken is where it's at. Deducting 1.5 stars as I notice for the à la cart kebabs the portion sizes varies SIGNIFICANTLY from one order one day to another order another time. For context, when we order à la cart chicken kebabs, they are $10 and you get 3 pieces, which is pretty small, but sometimes you get more per order. I think 3 pieces is pretty small for $10 as they are smaller pieces so I wish they were consistent Can't comment on service of ambience as I haven't been physically to the restaurant as we have only taken it go multiple times. I will review them again on consistency once I try this spot again

We ordered one appetizer sampler plate, one chicken kebab plate, one steak kebab plate, a side of fries, and knufa. Between three of us, it came out to about $30 per person. Ever so slightly on the pricey side, but larger quantity and very filling. There's something about being able to grab a fresh meal, sit outside alfresco, and just enjoy the California weather that makes everything taste a little better. Nick the Greek always delivered exactly what I needed--quick service, fresh ingredients, and food that felt satisfying without weighing me down. That consistency is what kept me coming back again and again. My go-to order was the gyro salad with pork belly, and to this day I still think about it. It was light but filling, bright and balanced, and never heavy. Crisp lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, feta, tzatziki, rice for substance, and warm pita on the side. I would always swap the red wine vinaigrette for the lemon herb dressing, which tied everything together perfectly. It was, quite simply, the perfect salad. Every time I ordered it, I told myself, "You really should learn how to make this at home." And every time, I didn't--because it was just easier to let Nick the Greek do it for me. What I appreciated most about this location was the reliability. You could walk in hungry, get your food quickly, and know it would taste the same as the last time--fresh, clean flavors, generous portions, and no fuss. That's harder to find than people realize. I moved away in 2023, and now that salad lives in my memory as one of those simple pleasures that made everyday life a little better. If you're in San Carlos and looking for something fresh, fast, and consistently good, this place is a solid choice. And if you find yourself sitting outside on a sunny day with a bowl and a piece of warm pita, take a moment to appreciate it--because someday you might move away and miss it more than you expect.
