My family went here right when it opened and we were seated right away. I wish I could give it a better review because the server was so kind, but honestly, the food just wasn't good. Avgolemono - This was the only decent thing we got here. It was a lemon rice soup with chicken. I liked the slight bitterness from the lemon rind in the soup and it was a great appetizer. There was also a decent amount of chicken. Beef Koftedes - This dish was so inconsistent. Each meatball tasted completely different. Essentially, this dish was meatballs covered with BBQ sauce. Some of the meatballs insanely sweet while some were not. It almost had the consistency of meatloaf. I did not like this. Lamb and Beef Kebab - For $11, they gave us 2 small pieces of meat which was very disappointing. The meat was just ok, nothing terrible but not good either. I don't think that has ever happened to us before, so this was quite exciting. - Angus Beef Koftedes Salad Bowl - I thought the meatballs were pretty tender and juicy which went very well with the slightly sweet BBQ sauce. I also really liked the light salad which contrasted well with the meatballs. The greek yogurt was also delicious as I really liked the contrast of textures that it provided as well. - Avgolemono Soup - I haven't had this type of soup in so long so it was such a treat to have! The broth was very strong and there was lots of rice and chicken which I appreciated. I'm not sure if the pita bread on the side really worked well with the soup as there was quite a bit of carbs. I would rather have had more soup, but otherwise, I liked the soup. - Beef & Lamb Kebab - I think you can skip ordering this as the kebab was a bit hard and wasn't very juicy. Such a great discovery! Capo is a delightful, well-designed, tasty Mediterranean eatery that's quick-service style with all the friendly care and customer service of fine dining. Parking is a little tight at peak hours but has a private lot that it shares with the other storefronts on the strip. There is a modern all-gender bathroom that is clean and well maintained. The restaurant is clean, tastefully decorated, and enjoyable with lots of natural light and windows and both indoor and outdoor seating. I appreciate the visual menu which made it easy to pick something to order (except everything looks good which makes it harder). I ordered the beef koftedes plate (~$18) which comes with a pomegranate BBQ sauce, rice, salad with a light vinaigrette dressing, warm pita slices, yogurt dip. I also tried some of my sister's chicken kebab plate which was delicious. We also tried a plate of manti for the table ($16) and it was sooo good! A spot like this might only work for large catering orders or big promotions, but it is definitely not an ideal place for your family or for anyone looking to sit down and enjoy a decent meal. Great lunch spot! There's a few bar tables and a few regular tables inside. There's also some outdoor tables. Spitfire Beef and Lamb salad was delicious and quite filling. You get a choice of 3 different dressings; I chose the pomegranate dressing. It also came with this pink dip for the lamb. I couldn't really taste the lemon pepper from the lemon pepper fries but the sauce it came with was really good. Also got the hot sauce which was also really good and had a nice kick. this is an amazing spot for unique mediterranean dishes in a clean, casual setting!! i've always driven past this place and finally came in to try it last night. it's a small restaurant but had a lot of open seating, and parking is very easy in the lot. you order at the kiosk and they do take out and dine in! they offer such a wide variety of dishes like wraps, rice plates, salads, and more, with proteins like kofte (meatballs), chicken, sliced lamb/beef, and falafel. the prices are super reasonable as well! i tried the kofte rice plate, which comes with 4 meatballs in a savory and slightly tangy sauce, long grain rice, a salad with lettuce and pickled veggies, a pita, and sauce! the meatballs were so tender, umami, and juicy, pairing perfectly with the sauce. i loved eating it with the salad, which had plenty of pickled veggies to cut the heavier flavors of the meatballs. the white yogurt sauce was also a good pairing for the meat and pita. my friends got the lamb/beef plate and also really enjoyed it!! they said the pink sauce was amazing. overall i'd definitely come back!! it's so convenient if you live in the area - perfect to grab a casual meal or pick it up on the go. highly recommend this spot! read more

I asked my dad to get me soup since I just had emergency surgery. I remember having the revithosoupa here a long time ago and it was very good. But I had never gone back. I was disappointed to see it wasn't on the menu anymore, but avgolemeno or lentil soup were options. I went with the avgolemeno, and I wasn't disappointed anymore. It was just what I needed. It had a nice broth that was easy on my stomach. And had the perfect ratio of rice and chicken. I like that it wasn't tart or sour from the lemon because it looked like lemon rind was being used and gave the lemon flavor without all the acid. We got the beet labneh to share which was a pleasant surprise! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a little earthy with that creaminess from the labneh. My dad was obsessed with it. I also tried a little bit of his spitfire chicken salad. It was full of flavor. The chicken was juicy and went really well with the salad and veggies. I would like to try something else when my appetite comes back. But I enjoyed the soup so much that I will send someone again tomorrow to get me some more! Also, the dolmades tasted very fresh, and tasted like home. They didn't have spanakopita, but my dad said the guy threw in a piece of baklava to make up for it! Missing Greece so we decided to try Capo - ordered the Loux sour cherry drink and a Greek beer - efes? For food I ordered a Greek salad to share and the appetizer Beef & Lamb Kebab - husband ordered the Calamari Po'boy Pita Wrap - The salad came first and dove in - pretty tasty - just needed more peppers (1 slice) and definitely needed more olive oil. Well, at least in Greece it was swimming in oil but I understand California might prefer it with less lol. The feta was crumbled - and there wasn't nearly enough if you compare to Greece. But it tasted nice, like good quality. The organ and pita wrap came out next - calamari was perfect - hot, not greasy, delicious with the wrap contents - my kebab was got and flavorful and not dry or burnt. We were so happy with this lunch. We ordered the dessert of Panna Cotta with raspberry and it was so good - truly. You must order a dessert. I look forward to trying the one with lemon olive oil next time. Overall a great lunch. Parking is a little tight, and people like to park illegally along the back curb making it hard to leave but it's manageable. Came here because Sumac Mediterranean Grill down the road got kicked out by their landlord and Capo is a huge step down in quality. But they charge the same prices. Start with the good: the falafel was good, and the quality of meat was fine. But everything besides the meat in their wrap was lackluster, including the bread. Their "rice plates" come with an insultingly small single scoop of rice and their koftedes are straight up cafeteria-quality, disgusting. Babaganoush was sub-par but passable. The guy warned me that their hot sauce was really spicy, this was a lie. In fact all 3 of their sauces seem to be basically ranch dressing with different amounts of red added. Capo is my treat whenever I have to report to work in Belmont. My go to is the Beef and Lamb salad. But, this time, decided to try something different and ordered the Koftedes salad instead. Never had Koftedes before so nothing to compare them to. They were definitely filling. If you like bbq sauce you'd probably like this. The meat was a tad hard, but flavorful. Still a pretty good deal for a salad combo - price went up to $18. Salad comes with a side (chose the Tzatziki which is my fave but the smoky babaganoush is also good), pita, drink and choice of panna cotta. When you're in Belmont, you HAVE to check this place out. I got a fantastic chicken bowl and it came with deliciously seasoned chicken, pickled veggies, kale/white rice, and red pepper dip with pita. Everything was well flavored and this plate itself was so vibrant and colorful. I enjoyed eating this after a long run/hike. It was a perfect mixture of colors and textures. Wow this place is a GEM! I've been looking for a good Mediterranean place in the Bay Area. So far, I'd have to say that it's this place for me. My friend and I ordered the spitfire beef and lamb rice, calamari rice plate, falafel, and the cauliflower. Everything was great! My favorites were surprisingly the calamari and the cauliflower. We're interested in learning what seasoning they used in the cauliflower because it was THAT good. Each came with sauces that paired well with food, which we inhaled with such speed.
