The best falafel! Crispy on the outside and flavorful and moist on the inside. The sauce it comes with is an amazing accompaniment. Definitely recommend.

    Dip sampler!

Everything was sooo good. Loved the dip sampler our party all found something to like. Portions were well sized, everything was hot and fresh and came out reasonably fast. The business owner was running the counter that day and he was so friendly, you can tell he really cares about what he does. It's a casual environment and when you sit outside you get a beautiful view of the hills.

My family went here right when it opened and we were seated right away. I wish I could give it a better review because the server was so kind, but honestly, the food just wasn't good. Avgolemono - This was the only decent thing we got here. It was a lemon rice soup with chicken. I liked the slight bitterness from the lemon rind in the soup and it was a great appetizer. There was also a decent amount of chicken. Beef Koftedes - This dish was so inconsistent. Each meatball tasted completely different. Essentially, this dish was meatballs covered with BBQ sauce. Some of the meatballs insanely sweet while some were not. It almost had the consistency of meatloaf. I did not like this. Lamb and Beef Kebab - For $11, they gave us 2 small pieces of meat which was very disappointing. The meat was just ok, nothing terrible but not good either. It was a lot more dry than most kebabs I have eaten. The only thing that was good was the addition of tzatziki. Overall, I would NOT come here again. Although the server was helpful and kind, the food here was just not good.

This is the second time coming here. Service is always good and very attentive. Atmosphere is very chill quiet. onto the food I got kebabs. The chicken was super moist and not dry at all with a nice seasoning. It came with a side of hummus and tzatziki with side salad and rice. I don't know what they do to the tzatziki, but it feels so rich and pair so well with everything will definitely come again when I'm in the area give this a try if you are too.

Such a great discovery! Capo is a delightful, well-designed, tasty Mediterranean eatery that's quick-service style with all the friendly care and customer service of fine dining. Parking is a little tight at peak hours but has a private lot that it shares with the other storefronts on the strip. There is a modern all-gender bathroom that is clean and well maintained. The restaurant is clean, tastefully decorated, and enjoyable with lots of natural light and windows and both indoor and outdoor seating. I appreciate the visual menu which made it easy to pick something to order (except everything looks good which makes it harder). I ordered the beef koftedes plate (~$18) which comes with a pomegranate BBQ sauce, rice, salad with a light vinaigrette dressing, warm pita slices, yogurt dip. I also tried some of my sister's chicken kebab plate which was delicious. We also tried a plate of manti for the table ($16) and it was sooo good! Tiny bite size dumplings in a yogurt and sundried tomato sauce. Will be back again for sure...I'm curious about the seafood offerings!

Smoky babaganoush - Definitely worth ordering this side!!!!

Review had 4.8 in Google - Had to try the place. It did not disappoint! We had Spitfire Beef & Lamb (RICE) Small serving of meat but the flavor made up for it! My husband was not fond of the pink dressing - I on the other hand, I found it refreshing. Yoplait dressing with a light taste. Beef Koftedes (RICE) It wasn't dry! Seasoning was spot on! The portion was a good amount! Smoky babaganoush - Definitely worth ordering this side!!!! My husband inhaled it! And the pita bread was light and airy and fresh!!! Check this place out if you are in the area!

    Spitfire Beef and Lamb (SALAD)
    Sheila E.

Great lunch spot! There's a few bar tables and a few regular tables inside. There's also some outdoor tables. Spitfire Beef and Lamb salad was delicious and quite filling. You get a choice of 3 different dressings; I chose the pomegranate dressing. It also came with this pink dip for the lamb. I couldn't really taste the lemon pepper from the lemon pepper fries but the sauce it came with was really good. Also got the hot sauce which was also really good and had a nice kick. We were told that everything, including the sauces were made in-house. I'll definitely be coming back!

When did you guys start doing business?

Have you re-opened yet? I'm hoping to place a small catering order for an event on March 26th! I've tried calling but haven't had any luck getting in touch with someone.

Hello Mary! Yes we will be open in a week or so please give me a call at (650) 521-4868 my name is Serhat

Only gourmets know the difference between ground beef gyro and steak beef gyro. I ordered 2 times from Capo and 1 time I had a chance to get steak beef gyro, the other time I got ground beef gyro. Which beef type do they use in their gyros usually?

    We use Yaprak gyro!

The chicken was incredible; perfectly cooked, moist, tender, and not at all dry. It paired beautifully with the highly addictive garlic toum and orange hot sauce. The dish also came with a side of pickled vegetables which added a nice balance to the meat. At $18 for a whole chicken that can feed two people, it's an excellent deal! Whole Cauliflower (10/10): The BEST cauliflower I've ever had! It was roasted to perfection, giving it a delicious charred, smoky flavor. The fragrant lemon-tahini dressing added a bright acidity that balanced the dish beautifully. I would absolutely order this every time! Grilled Lamb Chops Plate (9/10): The lamb chops were a bit overcooked, but it was still really tender and flavorful. I only wish there had been more lamb and less rice, but overall, it was still a fantastic dish. Double Kebab plate (8/10): I tried the kofta (beef + lamb), lamb, filet mignon, and shrimp kebabs. The filet mignon and shrimp were my favorites, as they were more tender and less dry than the other options. Still, all of the meats were very well seasoned and flavorful. Next time, I'd opt for the fries instead of the rice, which was also a bit dry. Their fries are the best, super crispy and not too oily! Service: Wait times can be quite long (45-90mins) since the restaurant is usually busy. I wish they accepted reservations, but unfortunately, they don't. Once seated, you can scan the QR code at your table to place your order using your phone. Prices are reasonable, at around $16-$25 per plate. I also love that each dish comes with pita bread and your choice of 2 dips. Ambiance: The restaurant is beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor patio seating. The interior is warm, modern, and inviting, with a spacious layout. Overall, the food was absolutely AMAZING, everything tasted incredibly fresh and vibes were immaculate. I HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try at least once!!

The street wrap was packed with flavor, and the potato wedges were crispy and seasoned really well. One thing I especially recommend trying is their orange hot sauce. If you like spicy food, it's a must-try--the flavor and heat really add something extra to the meal. Overall, everything about Mazra is great. The food is consistently flavorful, the atmosphere is trendy, and it's a really fun place to eat. My only complaints would be the long wait times during peak busy hours and a few instances where the service hasn't been the best on particularly busy days. Sometimes this can affect the overall experience, especially when people in the same group end up receiving their food at different times. Despite those minor issues, Mazra is still a really great spot and definitely somewhere I would recommend checking out. If you enjoy flavorful food and a trendy atmosphere, it's definitely worth a visit!

We genuinely cannot pick a favorite because both are consistently excellent. Our regular order is the chicken gyro salad, loaded with fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled onions, hummus, tzatziki, and a generous portion of chicken gyro meat. Everything tastes fresh, the meat is flavorful with those delicious crispy edges, and the spicy sauce adds exactly the right kick. It is filling without feeling heavy and somehow always hits the spot. Both locations have been remarkably consistent with quality, portions, and flavor. There's something about being able to grab a fresh meal, sit outside alfresco, and just enjoy the California weather that makes everything taste a little better. Nick the Greek always delivered exactly what I needed--quick service, fresh ingredients, and food that felt satisfying without weighing me down. That consistency is what kept me coming back again and again. My go-to order was the gyro salad with pork belly, and to this day I still think about it. It was light but filling, bright and balanced, and never heavy. Crisp lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, feta, tzatziki, rice for substance, and warm pita on the side. I would always swap the red wine vinaigrette for the lemon herb dressing, which tied everything together perfectly. It was, quite simply, the perfect salad. Every time I ordered it, I told myself, "You really should learn how to make this at home." And every time, I didn't--because it was just easier to let Nick the Greek do it for me. What I appreciated most about this location was the reliability. You could walk in hungry, get your food quickly, and know it would taste the same as the last time--fresh, clean flavors, generous portions, and no fuss. That's harder to find than people realize. I moved away in 2023, and now that salad lives in my memory as one of those simple pleasures that made everyday life a little better. If you're in San Carlos and looking for something fresh, fast, and consistently good, this place is a solid choice. And if you find yourself sitting outside on a sunny day with a bowl and a piece of warm pita, take a moment to appreciate it--because someday you might move away and miss it more than you expect.

Fresh like it was made right then for me. The hummus alone was worth coming back for. The guy at the register was one of the warmest people I've dealt with at a restaurant in a long time. No script, no fake customer service voice. He seemed legitimately happy I walked in, and that's not something you can train into someone. It's just who he is. One more thing that stuck with me. I watched him come out of the bathroom drying his hands with a paper towel, so I could see he'd actually washed up. Sounds small, but you'd be surprised how often that's not the case at restaurants, and it's an instant dealbreaker for me when it isn't. The bathroom itself was spotless too, which tells you the whole place is run right, not just the parts customers usually see. Fresh food, real hospitality, and a clean operation. The outdoor seating area has a lot of potential, though it feels like the space could be used more effectively. The indoor seating was much nicer and had a better atmosphere. One highlight was the gentleman working there, who was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. His hospitality made the experience more enjoyable and left a positive impression. The salmon was probably the biggest disappointment. It seemed a bit overcooked, was served slightly cold, and was missing some of the buttery richness we were expecting. The chicken and beef souvlaki were both good and enjoyable, but they weren't particularly memorable. The fish and chips, unfortunately, fell short. The fries weren't very crispy, and the fish itself lacked flavor. Overall, nothing was terrible, but most of the dishes didn't really stand out.
