I booked a deep clean of my studio flat and an oven clean…read more The quote for the deep clean was one cleaner for 5 hours. The cleaner called me to say they were finished after 3.5 hours. While cleaning had been done, I wouldn't call it a "deep clean": the cooker hood and kitchen blind were still thick with grease; laminate flooring in the bed area hadn't been cleaner at all; I'd cleared the top of the bathroom cabinet and fridge prior to the cleaner's arrival, but these had not been cleaned; and the tops of some doorframes had been missed. I ended up noticing and cleaning these areas myself over the next few days. The oven clean was booked for the same day, but I got a call on the day to say the cleaner was ill and we re-booked it for the following week. In discussing the re-booking time, I said I had a supermarket order arriving 2-6pm, and that I didn't want it to clash as my kitchen is very small. I asked how long an oven clean would take and was told 1-2 hours Therefore we booked the clean from 12-2pm. The oven cleaner still hadn't arrived at 1:35pm, and as it would have clashed I had to cancel the booking, I asked to cancel it. There was some quibble about refunding me the £75 fee for the oven cleaning, but I did get an agreement the next day to refund it due to being advised to book the cleaning for 12 in order to avoid the clash with the delivery at 2. While I understand that people get sick and sometimes bookings have to be re-scheduled at the last minute, and that traffic can cause delays, cancelling on the day, then being nearly two hours late for the rebooking and not at all proactive about letting the client know about it is a poor way to run a business. I'd also question their quality control process, as the deep clean was not to the standard I had hoped for.

** DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY**…read more When you're in the process of moving house these are the last people to hire unless you fancy more stress and weeks of trying to get your money back. They did a shocking job on the first clean, not cleaning any of the cupboards, barely even hoovered, dust still everywhere. As you can imagine this did not please our landlady or the estate agent. They company said they'd send someone round for the second clean, this person showed up without any cleaning equipment and had apparently been told she was only going to be recleaning the windows despite me sending 20+ photos of the flat post-clean and asking for a full reclean to be done. Following this, I asked for my money back, weeks of chasing emails and phone calls only to eventually be told that "there were people living there when we cleaned and this was not acceptable", this is a complete lie - the flat was entirely empty for both visits as we'd moved out the week before. I ended up having to pay another cleaning company the same amount again to do a proper job. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY, I CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH.

While their website quotes £12 per hour for cleaning and £19 for carpet cleaning, I somehow…read morereceived a quote of £84 for 3 hours. Nonetheless, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and assumed perhaps they would be sending more than one cleaner. While the cleaner was punctual, that is probably the best i can say of her. There was only one of her, and she did very little cleaning. Only one of the two bathrooms was cleaned, and even then the toilet remained completely untouched. In the kitchen, she wiped down the basic surfaces, but didn't descale the sink or taps, didn't clean the cupboards, didn't wipe down the splashback, didn't clean under the fridge. She briefly hoovered, and then swiftly left. My cleaner in Australia cleans a house six times the size of my London flat in the same time frame and for a lower price. And Australia is a very expensive country. I am absolutely appalled.

We were convinced we needed to hire a premium housekeeper at a rate of 13.75/hr as opposed to the basic rate of 10.00/hr, which we gladly did. The service was nowhere near this - we had to send on a weekly basis photos of things that went wrong - drycleaning put in the washing machine, empty rolls of toilet paper in the bathrooms, etc. After raising issue after issue we were simply told our cleaner would not be returning and that they didn't have anyone else for us. Overall it was a let down.
