The one-star review is for the sole reason that I'm not returning to my previous waxing provider, which comes down to management response, or lack thereof, on two separate occasions. The first issue occurred over nine months ago when the Upland location closed. I was unable to get a refund for the remaining balance on my account. When I called this location to ask if I could at least use the funds toward product purchases, the manager never followed up. The second issue happened just this past week. I brought to their attention that the stepping stool (used to get onto the waxing table) has always been filthy. I was told this was not a priority, as there were "more important areas" to focus on. For those unfamiliar, clients sometimes remove their shoes before stepping onto the table for a bikini wax, which makes the cleanliness of that stool especially important. After that response, I made the decision not to renew my membership. Respectfully reviewed.

Allison as always very professional, gentle, and incredibly thorough. She explained every step, made sure I was comfortable with numbing, and the treatment felt manageable even though I was nervous. The PRP addition has my skin already feeling tighter and more radiant (even on day 1), and the redness/tightness is exactly what she prepared me for. She sent me home with excellent aftercare products, the Rescue Smoothing Complex and mask have been lifesavers for calming things down overnight. I felt completely taken care of. I was a patient of Dr. Bokhari for over 2 years and 8 months and a member of this clinic for 2…read moreyears, paying $150 every month. During that time, I spent well over $8,000 on treatments and referred many friends and family because I truly believed in this practice. I even drove from Fontana to Riverside for every appointment because I believed Dr. Bokhari was kind, skilled, and worth the time, gas, and long drive. Even after an incident last year, when I spent over $3,000 on fillers and Botox and was not given clear instructions on how to use the nitrous oxide, causing me to inhale too much and experience a frightening hallucination that left me feeling unwell for the rest of the day and even the following day, I continued coming back because I trusted this clinic. Over the last three months, I had to return to the office four different times because my Botox results were not what I had consistently received in the past. During those visits, I spent approximately $1,000. At my most recent follow-up appointment, I simply wanted to understand why my results were different and why I kept needing additional Botox to achieve results that had previously been obtained without these issues. Instead of having a conversation, Dr. Bokhari responded in a way that completely shocked me. He told me: "If you go to Kentucky and order chicken, you have to pay for it." "You have to pay for the units I injected." "There are no free lunches here." "If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else." I explained that I was not refusing to pay. I simply wanted to understand why I kept needing additional visits and additional Botox to obtain results that had previously been achieved without these issues. Despite that, the conversation continued in the same tone. I left that appointment feeling deeply hurt. Personally, I felt discriminated against and treated as if I were someone trying to get something for free, despite being a loyal patient for nearly three years who had always paid for every treatment. Most of all, I felt that I was not a valued patient, despite the years I had trusted this practice, the money I had invested, and the many people I had referred. At the time, I still had $500 remaining in my membership account. After charging me for that day's Botox, the clinic agreed to refund the remaining balance, and I immediately canceled my membership. I never imagined that after years of loyalty, thousands of dollars invested, and making the drive from Fontana to Riverside because I believed this doctor was worth it, my relationship with this clinic would end this way. I sincerely hope no other patient leaves feeling as hurt and undervalued as I did.
