Terms Kim Monroe…read moreLocal Guide·27 reviews·9 photos 9 months ago We needed a pool remodel and to add a spa. We also wanted to change from a salt system to a fusion chlorinated system. We interviewed 8 companies and chose All About Pools because of Jayson Furr the project manager. We met with him initially in his office in Tyler. He was sitting in his truck waiting on us when we arrived. I liked him immediately! He was in his work clothes and I could tell he was a hard worker. We had a meeting and we had a budget. Out of the eight companies, there were two bids lower than Jayson. One bid came in after we had already met with Jayson and we decided to stay with Jayson. We showed him the lower bid that we had from the other company and he worked with us and came down a little bit closer to that bid. We were very appreciative of that. He came out, looked at everything, flew his drone over. We came to an agreement over the money, signed the contract, the very next day early in the morning he was there with this crew working. They would work in the cold and the rain. Jayson answered the phone every single time we called if for some reason, he couldn't answer he would immediately call us back. No matter how simple the question was or how many times we called, he was always very polite very patient and very very customer friendly. We trusted him. We trusted him with our retirement monies that we had saved for this project. We always wanted a beautiful spa and pool. We also met the owner. The owner explained to us how important his customers were to him. He's been in the business over 40 years. The company is part of Better Business Bureau bonded and insured, and presented all of that evidence to us in the folder that was given to us. He had pages of references that we could check. Even though the owner had had some health issues, he came out to the job site to look at everything and talk to us and thanked us for picking his company. We should be done with the job tomorrow. They poured plaster today and will do the acid wash and we can start to fill tomorrow. The pool and the new spa has transformed our backyard. We are beyond thrilled. We are also beyond thrilled with the customer service and the quality of work that was provided to us. We have encountered nothing but professionalism from all of the workers that he contracts with. They are all hard-working and very polite. This is our first pool and spa. We moved from out of state less than a year ago so we had to start from scratch to find a pool company. We highly recommend All About Pools and Jayson Furr for any of your needs. They do a tremendous job and are very hard-working. Also, Jayson is there every day on the job overseeing and working beside the people that he has contracted with. The project was completed within time promised, despite weather issues. Thank you Jayson for fulfilling our dream. Jayson does not make excuses he makes things happen.

Not terribly impressed with the company. Have one owner that uses subcontractors. The guys that…read morepaint are nice, but work in a nice home is sub standard. Paint matches were not done correctly. If the sheen was right, then the color didn't match and vise versa. Missed mudding things that were instructed to be done and just painted over issues, latex paint was used for touch ups when initial coat was oil based, brush strokes and stippling from roller on cabinet doors and trim work, areas that were air brushed did not have the surroundings papered well and paint was sprayed on glass, paper was not placed on floors and paint/mud was tracked on flooring, sloppy mud work led to poor look when area was painted over, poor spraying of shelves and drawers done at shop and hidden until job was paid. Discovered the shelf issue after they left. Owner did at first easily communicate and try to fix issues, then he seemed to become frustrated with getting called back to the job to correct things they didn't do, and/or had done wrong. Things still are not done but tired of dealing with the owner and substandard work. If you have a house of much value that demands a decent level of painting/mudding, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

That morning called and said the materials would be here @ 2pm, he told me to call when they arrive..... I called @ 2:25pm no answer left message. All I wanted was a call back; he could have said he didn't have time this week he'll do it next week. Or he just didn't want to do the job. Just man up,I found another firm to do the job and when finished I'll give them a grade. My opinion of this person and this company is very little, no communication, no BACKBONE! If he treats all customers like this he'll be out of business soon! Good Luck.
