I hired Cowboy Curbing out of Tyler, TX (Marcus), and this has been one of the most frustrating vendor experiences I've had.
First issue: the color is completely wrong. What I asked for was black. What I got is a dark gray that only looks "close" when it's wet. Once it dries, it's obvious it's not what was agreed on.
Second issue: they left a mess behind. There is still visible powder and staining on my driveway. I was told "the rain will wash it off." It didn't. I'm now stuck with stains I have to figure out how to remove myself.
Third--and biggest issue: communication completely dropped after payment. Before the job, responses were fast. After I raised concerns? Silence. No urgency, no accountability, no real effort to fix their mistake.
At this point, it feels like once they got paid, the quality and customer service disappeared.
If you're considering Cowboy Curbing, just know:
What you ask for may not be what you get
You may be left cleaning up their work
And getting them to fix anything afterward may be a struggle
I would not recommend.
I am open to getting this resolved and if they do, I will take down my review in good faith. But until then, all platforms hosting their business will have this review
UPDATE:
After I left him a review on Facebook, Marcus of Cowboy Custom Curbing reached out saying next Friday he will come fix my curb. He also changed the settings on his Facebook so only I could see the negative review. Let's see if he will keep his promise. read more
