The service techs arrived on the day scheduled. They understood the problems after our discussion. Express installed this system about 11 years ago and this was the first time any service was needed. I had already located the underground valves except the one that needed to be replaced. It took quite a bit of time to locate the bad valve even with their locator system. The service man was not sure why they had put the valve so far from the other valves. The original installers had placed the valve next to another pvc pipe which made it more difficult to replace. I had them replace 2 sprinkler heads and the rain sensor while they were here. The parts replaced, I looked up pricing on and around $160. The shock was the ridiculous $565 invoice. I paid them, but never again. Express is on my DO NOT CALL list. read more

We have been happy customers of Express for years. They are responsive and do good work. Unfortunately, we have switched companies as Express is crazy expensive now. We recently had them out to give an estimate for moving a sprinkler head about 15 feet and adding a sprinkler head to be located about 5 feet off of the main line. This would have been about a two hour job for them at most. They wanted almost $1,500.00! Our neighbor recently switched from them as well...for the same reason. Please do not use this company. My husband and I had used Express Lawn Sprinklers for two years. Always paid them on time and we always appreciated the work that they did for us. As usual, we called them this yesterday to arrange for them to come out to do a spring maintenance on the system and to check the sprinkler heads to make sure that they are all in working order for the upcoming spring and summer. My husband called the secretary who gave him an appointment, but he was called back immediately to be told that the owner of Express Lawn Sprinklers told her to let us know that he was no longer going to service us. My husband asked her if she knew why and she said that she did not. That the owner only instructed her to tell us that he would no longer service us. I find this to be very cowardly on the part of the owner, especially a veteran owned business. We veterans, normally will be open and honest with folks and let them know if there is a problem. We do not know what we did wrong but it maybe a blessing in disguise. We have been fortunate to find Berry's Irrigation Maintenance and we find them to be top notch at their trade so this is not a real loss to us. The way that Express Lawn Sprinkler's decided to no longer do service with us is very unprofessional and cowardly. I hope that this does not happen to any one else who does business with them. I know that a few of my neighbors still do business with them, so if I see them in the neighborhood I plan asking them face to face as to why they did not want our business. Shameful. read more

Did over 10 years of maintenance in one visit which included replacing 3 valves and multiple sprinklers for the exact estimate I was given. They were also the last company who worked on my system over 10 years ago and I was happy then as well. read more

Steer clear of these unprofessional clowns! They originally installed my system a few years ago. Later I had to request a QUOTE for additional sprinkler heads (that should have been installed initially). After they sent a couple of people out to do the work they presented an invoice for twice the quoted amount. The people were rude and unprofessional when I asked to speak to the owner. They finally came back and said they would cut the invoice back to the original quoted price which I paid. Later I learned that they placed me on the "Do Not Service" list for complaining about the invoice. When I asked again to speak to the owner I was told they couldn't give me his number. He has never called me directly to discuss. Obviously a very incompetent and unprofessional business which starts at the top. read more

Called this company to come out and replace a diaphragm in my sprinkler system. I had shut the water off to stop the leaking that morning. The serviceman came out and gave me a quote, then was very rude about how I already owed them $90, simply for their standing in my yard. After listening to his noise for a few minutes, I told him thanks but no thanks and asked him to leave my property. Express' office staff was very rude to me when I called to complain about his behavior. No apologies for his unprofessionalism. I asked them to have the owner call me so I could file a complaint with him. 2 weeks later, I received an invoice stating that I owed them the $90. I again called and again I was treated very rudely by the office staff. They hung up on me for disputing the charge and would not answer when I called back (screening the call). I called them on another phone and asked for the owner, who (surprise surprise) was not available. I asked them to have him call me. It's been a few weeks and that call never came. Don't put yourself through this sort of situation. Go to another reputable lawn service. You have been warned. read more

The owner, Randy came out and gave us an estimate and came back to do the installation exactly when they said they would. Very professional and courteous crew as well as owner.
