I gave them thousands of dollars, and ended up having to hire someone to fix their mess or fix it myself. To start, the worker who was to install the irrigation was supposed to take 2 days, but it took over a week. The reason being: he kept napping on my front porch or in my side yard. My neighbors kept texting and calling to see if I knew about a strange guy sleeping in my front yard. Then, the new irrigation zones in the backyard were supposed to be connected to the existing system in the front yard. They did not connect it to anything, so the new zones had no water going to them. Once they did finally come out to fix it, half the new sod they laid died. They were supposed to come out and redo it, but never did despite dozens of calls and texts from me. Also, when the new zones were finally connected, I had to figure out how to adjust every head myself because some were spraying directly into a fence, pointed the opposite way, over-spraying over the fence, etc. It was a nightmare! Finally, they were only supposed to lay sod in the half of the side yard that was torn up from where all the tractors were coming in and out during our pool construction. I guess the guy (the same one who barely worked 2 hours per day because he was too busy napping in random places) didn't listen to instructions because he tore up all the existing grass that was in good shape. But because they were only supposed to lay sod in half of the side yard, they did not fix the good grass he tore up! I tried so many times for many weeks to get them to follow up on their work, and it was always one excuse after another; and that's if I could even get a call back! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!

The owner came out and could not figure out why it was coming apart. Several month later a worker came out to fix it took one look at it and told me he would get back to me. Never heard from him again. Went to the store and owner Sean Rose told me it could not be fixed and the flooring had been discontinued. I asked for a copy of the lifetime garruntee the floor came with and was told it was probably 25 pages long and he would get the manufacturers rep to call me. Haven"t heard from him either. Not sure why the floor could not be fixed after it was installed but not 5 years later. Something about it might mess up the whole floor. Buyer beware. Calls are not returned and commitments not kept.

We interviewed 8 companies and chose All About Pools because of Jayson Furr the project manager. We met with him initially in his office in Tyler. He was sitting in his truck waiting on us when we arrived. I liked him immediately! He was in his work clothes and I could tell he was a hard worker. We had a meeting and we had a budget. Out of the eight companies, there were two bids lower than Jayson. One bid came in after we had already met with Jayson and we decided to stay with Jayson. We showed him the lower bid that we had from the other company and he worked with us and came down a little bit closer to that bid. We were very appreciative of that. He came out, looked at everything, flew his drone over. We came to an agreement over the money, signed the contract, the very next day early in the morning he was there with this crew working. They would work in the cold and the rain. Jayson answered the phone every single time we called if for some reason, he couldn't answer he would immediately call us back. No matter how simple the question was or how many times we called, he was always very polite very patient and very very customer friendly. We trusted him. We trusted him with our retirement monies that we had saved for this project. We always wanted a beautiful spa and pool. We also met the owner. The owner explained to us how important his customers were to him. He's been in the business over 40 years. The company is part of Better Business Bureau bonded and insured, and presented all of that evidence to us in the folder that was given to us. He had pages of references that we could check. Even though the owner had had some health issues, he came out to the job site to look at everything and talk to us and thanked us for picking his company. We should be done with the job tomorrow. They poured plaster today and will do the acid wash and we can start to fill tomorrow. The pool and the new spa has transformed our backyard. We are beyond thrilled. We are also beyond thrilled with the customer service and the quality of work that was provided to us. We have encountered nothing but professionalism from all of the workers that he contracts with. They are all hard-working and very polite. This is our first pool and spa. We moved from out of state less than a year ago so we had to start from scratch to find a pool company. We highly recommend All About Pools and Jayson Furr for any of your needs. They do a tremendous job and are very hard-working.
