Our journey starts in approximately February of last year. We got a quote to get our roof…read moreprofessionally replaced and repaired. We decide our shingle and gutter colors and everything seemed great, planned and ready to go. This is during a supply shortage so we get delayed a month or so due to availability of shingles. Sure, no problem. The installation begins: the contractors arrive and seemed professional enough to know what they're doing and they get started ripping things off and replacing. First incident is my neighbor picks up a handful of nails that were left in the street after the first day of work. Unacceptable, but they responded respectively with my feedback. 2nd day into the work they let me know they underestimated the amount of shingles and need approximately $2,000 more including labor. We decline and but pay some pity because of it being a mistake. Here's the catch. We have to wait for more shingles, --for 3 months. All the while 4 different leaks developed with a half blue and half brown roof. Keep in mind, all of the communications with AVCO have been extremely delayed and they showed up multiple times without notice. They fix the leaks; repaint it and all. I accept it. And still being lenient. They continue the roof replacement and the blue shingles look amazing. Another 3 months go by with little communication on when the gutters will be installed and the pricing. The gutters get installed initially, completely incorrectly. At this point, the person who gave us our initial quote was 'fixing' his contractors work. The gutters continued to hold water and drain incorrectly. We come to find there is a sagging section of the roof that they should've contacted us regarding and at least given us the choice to get it repair or not. But no one ever spoke about it potentially being a problem. To this day we have yet to pay for the gutters as they still are left incorrectly done and still holding just a little bit of water, not to mention a corner being finished with the wrong type of leaf catcher because they ran out or got lazy. This is not a reliable company. They contract out there work to anyone who will do it for a low wage.

It had been 10 years since we moved in and we have not done improvements. My house was tan and…read morewhite everywhere, it needed refreshing and color. Rose City Paint provided that and more. They throughly patched and primed everything that needed it. They used quality BM paint so it was simple to go pick up swatches and samples to find just what I was looking for. They started the job on time, were there everyday at the same time and worked steadily throughout each room. The team was friendly and easy to communicate with, they vacuumed and cleaned before where needed and after as they progressed. They kept their equipment on the job but contained out of our way. Floors, ceiling fans and furniture that couldn't be moved out were well covered and recovered as needed. Painting was done well, minimum 2 coats and any bleed through was painted again without complaint. I have a lot of trim, crown molding and fireplace surround as well as bathroom and kitchen cupboards, and it was beautifully done. Doorknobs, switch covers, etc all removed and replaced not painted around. The lines between each color and trim are very straight. These guys paint your house as if it is their own. John the owner came out to make the bid, kept in contact throughout the job and made very helpful suggestions along the way. He was a joy to work with. We couldn't be happier with the job. Highly recommend. Excuse the mess we haven't put everything back and the plug covers are not back on because we are replacing them.
