Instead, Montway arrived with an open trailer without disclosing this beforehand, transported the vehicle to New Jersey, and left it at a facility for 8 days!!!--something we were also never told would happen. Communication throughout the process was astonishingly terrible given their reviews online. We later learned from the supervisor Lily that the original carrier had missed the pickup, yet Montway never notified us. I repeatedly requested updates and calls from supervisors that never came. The supervisor Lily ultimately acknowledged that mistakes had been made and that we had been misled regarding both the transportation arrangements and delivery timeframe. She also acknowledged that she was going to do everything in her power to assist in a refund, but the vehicle would need to be delivered first; which made zero sense. The vehicle was finally delivered on September 14, nearly three weeks after booking. After delivery, Lily with Montway told us she was working on a 50% refund, despite everything that occurred. They ultimately did not issue even that refund; their offer $100 credit..... and we declined. Lily said, it was the best they could do... The best thing THEY could have done was do the right thing considering the mistake after mistake after mistake they made. Between the undisclosed open transport and storage, significant delays, lack of communication, misleading information, and failure to honor even their proposed partial refund, this was a horrible and unacceptable experience. I would not trust Montway with a high-value vehicle EVER again.

Be warned they are basically a wholesale operation, they just clean the cars up and list them. They do have no problem with you taking the vehicle to a mechanic for a once over, which is well worth the $50 or so. Just wanted to address that because of some of the complaints here. The car I wound up buying had less than 5,000 miles on it, so it was basically new. Had a great experience, and have recommended them to several friends.

Safe buy. I don't recommend the optional additional warranty "service", though, it's like $2,197 usd extra and I never even got proof of Purchase about it or any information on what I paid for it to cover. The woman that represented the co was much more courteous than the man who owned it, in my opinion (as he sold me the warranty, she sold me the utility SUV). I found it more affordable to supplement with AAA; it more conveniently supplements the needs of your vehicle. As for the vehicle itself, the pre-existing issues were not disclosed to me. Luckily they weren't necessities for it to run. I paid cash, I got no discount for doing so. All in all, I'd recommend the place to someone who knows a thing or two about or is looking for a non-luxury foreign vehicle from the mid 2000's, just before 2010, for a little bit too much money.
