The most kindest owner of this store helped us out. I was in town from LA for a wedding and the morning of I realized my white tux shirt had black stains from the suit cover. The inner rubber lining was all over the shirt. I dunked it in the hotel bathroom sink trying to frantically wash it and it wouldn't come out. I Uber'd to the closest cleaner. It was a Saturday and the owner Maria said because weekend she had no one that could clean but she was so kind and worried about me that she drove me to a competing dry cleaners in town to see if they could help. My husband was unable to pick up his suit by 3 o'clock today, and he needs it for our son's out-of-state wedding before we leave on Monday! The cleaners isn't open until Wednesday! Basic things in life. I eat. I breathe. I pay taxes. And, at some point, I will die. Oh....and if I wear white, I will stain it. And NOT with some easy thing to clean....oohhhhhhh no....mustard. Tomato sauce. Soy sauce. You know...things that are permanent. Every. Time. Always. White. Bad. Any other shirt, I will NEVER stain. White, ALWAYS. It's truly a gift. Also a gift....Blue & White. They know me....oh god do they know me. I walk in, and the first question is "what did you do now?". And, shame-facedly, I tell them. Yeah, there's a smirk (and I can't say I blame them)...but a few days later, I get my shirt back, stain free. They, of course, KNOW that that same shirt (or one of its white brethren) will be back...soon. Very soon. And I'll be glad to see them. Truly they are magicians. read more

I just wanted to post a friendly recommendation for Blue & White Cleaners. We've been taking our things to Maria for at least 3 years and she has always done an excellent job. She's never lost anything (including random socks stuffed in pants legs) and things are always ready when she tells us they will be. She doesn't even give us a ticket anymore because she knows our (and our kids!) names and phone number. She also encourages green practices including reusable dry cleaning bags. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I typically leave it to the dry cleaners to clean my fancy stuff, but it's disappointing when regardless of expensive or low cost this place misses the mark. Brought in my coat on a Tuesday, quoted $18. Came back Thursday since that's what it said on my ticket. "No NEXT. Thursday." OK. More than a week for a dry clean. Picked up my coat. Lady on the phone the entire time. "$20" Okay no big deal two dollars more than quoted a million days ago. My dang coat was PILLED AND SNAGGED LIKE CRAZY. I don't want my $20 back....I WANT MY $400 COAT BACK to normal. WHAT A WASTE. I typically don't yelp review but I am so mad. What a WASTE. read more

Great cleaners, they've done a fantastic job with my items. they cleaned and repaired a wool overcoat and did a beautiful job I brought in my vintage suit for minor alterations and repairs and they did a beautiful job. They are kind and competent. You get what you pay for here. read more

Really disappointed in the services here. First there was a problem a while ago getting curtains cleaned. I was quoted one price and after coming to pick them up, they jacked the price to almost double. Plus when I got the curtains home they were not cleaned well. There was still food stuck to areas, as well as stains that I was able to remove with a little elbow grease. 2nd time, my husband took 2 brand new shirts, 2 sport coats and a suit without telling me what dry cleaners he was going to. At first I got nervous but gave b&w the benefit of the doubt since the older gentleman who owned the place was sweet. My first problem was the price. It came to $42 which is a bit outrageous for dropping off on a Saturday and picking up on a Tues. (Afterwards I found out that they considered it Rush. Secondly they completely screwed up the pressing of the suits - They ruined the suits. A 10 year old would've pressed them better. The lapel was misaligned at least 2 inches during pressing and the sleeves were poorly finished. The shirts had all the bits of ratty material from the presser on them and it took me another 3 minutes to get off with a lint roller. Never again! Ill find an alternative location. read more

This place closes randomly during the supposed open hours. The woman sticks a 'back in 15 mins' note on door. I've waited more than 1/2 hour more than once (more fool me). The service is sullen, surly and unfriendly. I selected because of the green claims but i just need to find a more reliable spot. It took 3 weeks to get recent set of clothes back for a week over the 4th July hols. Even w a weeks closure this is way too long. It's normally a week. read more

Great dry cleaner. We tried this one after another didn't treat the Facconable shirts to well. Now they are as beautiful as new. They also easily did a quick turn around for tux shirt for the Black and White Ball. read more

Incredible and reliable service. I was in a HUGE bind with a dress that no one would clean by the date which I needed it back by. One of the owners promised and assured me that my dress would be ready. Later that afternoon, I received a phone call that my dress was ready, and all stains were sucessfully removed. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the service and treatment I received. I took in a very expensive sweater to be cleaned. Then took said sweater on vacation for an evening out only to find they shrunk it at least 2 inches all around. It no longer fits. Not to mention it wasn't even pressed properly. After I explained the problem I was told - they do not dry clean - see the sign - no chemicals!!! I received disapproving looks and a snarky attitude. I was made to feel as if this was my fault. I'd ask pricing before you drop ANYTHING. I dropped a few dresses and one shirt. The total is almost $100. I had no clue. The dresses are $17.50 per dress. Not worth it and I've never seen anything that expensive. read more

If I could gI've them zero starts I would. I called them to ask them how much it costs to alter a pair of jeans (about 3 inches o explained) she was soooo rude she goes 12 I go I'm sorry I siding hear you she says I said 12 and hung up. $17.50 for one, short, simple, no frills, dress. That is Seriously way more than I have paid, anywhere. Ever.

The owners of this cleaners are the rudest people I have ever met. I am a local, and took a jacket in there. They were not friendly, did not even say hell-o, and sort of sneered the whole time they were taking my coat. When I got my coat back, they had lost the belt that went with it. It was an expensive coat, and without the belt, it does not look good. The older man actually got mad at me when I told him my belt was missing, saying that was impossible, they always mark down if the jacket had a belt, blah blah blah. I said you are getting mad at me??????? YOU lost my belt! He angrily said he would call me by Friday(this was Monday) saying he needed to call the warehouse where they do all the cleaning. Well, he never called me back, so I called them the next Monday, and they said too bad, we do not have it, never said sorry, just it is YOUR word against MINE. 2 days after that, I get a call on my cell at 10PM AT NIGHT, saying they have my belt. I went in the next day, and when he handed me my belt, he never apologized, never said he was sorry for what he put me through, NOTHING. Again, they are HORRIBLE, and I will never return to them. I've been going to Blue & White for about 5 years now and they are excellent. Good dry cleaning and laundry even though expensive but it's the same everywhere. I would never use Greenhouse again after they lost a shirt. read more
