The husband and wife store owners were incredibly kind and saved my weekend from disaster. I was in town from SoCal to attend a wedding at the Ritz Carlton today at 4 pm. At 1000 am this morning as I was re packing I noticed that hat the inner rubber lining of the my suit/tux cover was bleeding into my white tux shirt. Omg. I dunked the tux shirt in the hotel sink trying to rub out all these black skid marks. Nothing. This was in a frantic. I eventually landed at Greenhouse. Keep in mind it's the weekend and wedding is in 6 hours. The owners were so kind. Their employees were not there but they took my shirt and began scrubbing out the marks with their cleaning solution and washed it all while I waited in the shopping center. I am so grateful to have met, Hannah, the new owner at Greenhouse Cleaners last week. I learned late in the day before a very big event I was attending in the morning that the item I needed to wear had mildew. Hannah was miraculously able to hand wash the item and have it ready for me to pick up at 9 AM the following morning. She made it look good as new. I hadn't been in the shop for many years due to a bad experience there decades ago. I am so glad I gave the new owner a try and I am so impressed with her outstanding service and attention to detail. What a disappointment this place was! New to the area had to try an new cleaner. I requested to have my Tee shirts folded over hanger, was told they do not do that?! Should have known right then and there. Allowed them to clean my clothes l. After picking up, my Jersey still had stains on it. All my shirt necks were stretched due to hanging on the hanger. The best part is they actually folded one of my tee's over hanger like WTF?! Place is terrible! Service is terrible will not be coming back ever! Good luck to those who use. read more

Very poor service. I asked for curtains to be hemmed, they didn't do the curtains at all. When I asked for my money back, they wouldn't give me the refund; I had to go through my bank. Horrible, horrible experience! I have come to this cleaners for years. I have always come in with a few stains on my husband's work shirts has never been an issue before. They've taken care of it and if it didn't come out then they would do it again, no problem, no questions asked. Today completely different story I went in to pick up my husband's work shirts and the one shirt that had a stain, it was still there. I asked the gentleman what happened, he proceeded to get loud with me and tell me "you can't bring in a shirt and expect me to get a stain out." I said to him you've done it for all these years before, we've never had a problem. I just wanted to know why they pressed it and they didn't just try to remove the stain again for me. He wanted to charge me full price and not answer my question. He proceeded to get louder, and I asked him to please be so kind as to not yell at me, I was not raising my voice. He still wanted me to pay and I asked him to please remove the one shirt off the bill I'd like to pay for the others and I'd like him to try and get that stain out. He gives me my card, he hands me my shirts and tells me to leave. I said to him I need to pay for the shirts that you did he says no take your stuff and never come back. I at that point told him with his attitude I would not come back This was the most bizarre experience. And now I'm in a need for a new dry cleaners. I will still keep my business local. I Will Not my business there ever again. read more

I am not twelve. I am not going to camp. Yet, I now have several pieces of clothing with my NAME WRITTEN IN THEM because I did not read the Yelp review that mentioned this is the practice of the business. Worse, MY name is in several pieces of clothing that DO NOT BELONG TO ME that I dropped off for someone else. I agree that the service is friendly, and the clothing I dropped off came back clean to my satisfaction. The staff is very friendly, we are always greeted by name. Good turn around time, never had a problem with burn marks or melted buttons as we had with another local dry cleaner. Yes, they write the name inside the shirts with a laundry marker, but I don't see how this is a suprise as every dry cleaner I have ever taken the shirts to does this. Not a big deal! read more

They ruined a shirt and refused any type of make-good. I brought in some shirts a couple of months ago, picked them up and put them in the closet still in the cleaner bag. Last week, while packing for a trip, I noticed that two of the shirts had yellow spots and one had a VERY poorly pressed collar. I brought the shirts back for a redo, but when I picked them up, I saw that one shirt had come out fine, but the other still had the yellow spots. Owner said that the spots couldn't be removed and it was MY problem. No apology, no reimbursement, no store credit. Very disagreeable owner. Never Again! read more

I have not had problems and they will also do nicely with hemming of pant cuffs and other minor items as needed. Update: The cleaners fixed our inflated pricing when we pointed it out to them. I also want to mention that they did an amazing job cleaning our decorative pillow covers and clothing. Next time I will review my itemized ticket prior to leaving. Ripoff!! I have been a regular customer here for years. The past few times I brought items in for dry cleaning, I noticed the prices were much higher than they should be. I decided not to worry about it and let it go. The next time I dropped items off, I noticed that the owner had labeled some decorative dish cloths I was having cleaned as table cloths. Really? Table cloths? These are the same size as napkins! I should have learned from my mistake in trusting these seemingly nice friendly owners. Instead, regrettably I asked my husband to drop off some items there. I am now looking at the itemized list of prices for the small 18" cotton pillow covers he dropped off. The owner labeled these as "chair covers." A chair cover for what? A dollhouse chair? These thin cotton pillow covers are a mere 18" each and only cost me $10 each when I bought them. But the owners of this dry cleaners think they can charge $150 to clean just 5 of them. So incredibly dishonest. I am furious. read more

Don't go!! They WROTE ON ALL OUR SHIRTS IN PERMANENT MARKER!! I just can't believe it. Yes, it was our name and on the inside of the shirt but it's still unacceptable. We've gone to many, many dry cleaners in the past and I've NEVER seen this practice anywhere else. Most places tag, sticker etc but don't permanently damage the shirt. This place is convenient but not worth paying so much to have them damage shirts even if it doesn't show. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have been here a dozen times. A couple weeks ago, they cleaned a couple expensive dress shirts for me. Upon picking up I noticed the shirts had extremely pressed wrinkles throughout the shirts (something I couldn't get out completely with my iron) I questioned them and they said I had to pay extra and know to ask for hand pressing. WTH Fast forward a couple weeks, I drop off a hand made blanket that smelled like my dog. Paid the expensive cost to have my blanket cleaned. Took it out of the bag yesterday and it smells like dog and even found a dirty spot on it. Took it back this morning and was told that dry cleaning doesn't mean they clean it. Stood there for 15 minutes trying to resolve this, got no where. The man even asked me how many dry cleaners I own (are you kidding me). I told him I would have paid double for the cleaning if it was cleaned properly. Waste of time and money. I will not go back there. read more

Had been a customer for over twenty years and then had a problem with alterations and they got into an argument with me. They also lost a sweater. I was told by an ex-employee they will wear the customers clothes that are left there and not picked up. So all is good unless you complain to them about something. They are not there for you. Damaged my clothes, and refused to compensate me. That's the worst case scenario for a cleaner - isn't it? I was a loyal customer here for about 2 years after moving to El Granada, so they knew me as a regular - came in with my work shirts every 3 weeks or so. Then I noticed some spots on the shoulder of my shirts - I suddenly had about 6 shirts with small black spots in exactly the same place. When I went back to the cleaner, they claimed it had to come from my own closet (no way) and as a concession, they reluctantly agreed to a free cleaning to try to get the spots off. That didn't work and I haven't been back since. Use at your own risk. read more

I've tried to use this shop three times now because I am lazy and don't drive over the hill as much as I used too in order to go to my usual place in Burlingame. They charged me $35 to COMPLETELY DESTROY a $200 faux fur blanket. It came in perfect, came back totally MELTED. :( I have never been so upset with a business before!! I have been going here for 13 years and they just ruined a very expensive garment and would not accept responsibility for the damage.
