This was easily my best meal on St Thomas. Oh my. This food was absolutely incredible, such a creative interpretation of local cuisines, the chef is a real star. Ambiance was great, food was incredible, and the staff was extremely friendly, even giving us some new fruit picked fresh that we hadn't tried before. HIGHLY highly recommend if you're visiting

This is one of the best dining experiences I've ever had!! The service is top notch, everyone is super friendly and informative, the vibe is nice/fancy but also really fun and chill, the wine list has a nice price range (from $30/bottle) and the food is just out of this world. Every dish we had was truly better than the last, I kept thinking they can't outdo that last bite and then they did!! It really everything you can hope for. I thought the pricing was very fair as well at $131 for 11 courses that were a good size for this type of meal. If you are in the area and can stop by you won't be disappointed! *online it might say no availability but if you call you can usually get in

Not too bad. Not too bad at all... In actuality, this is true, gourmet, Caribbean cuisine- and the first time we've ever experienced such a thing. Who knew... So let's start with the food. It's a Chef's tasting menu- and that's part of the fun. You can choose the number of courses you want to indugle in, and go from there. In terms of faves, that butter poached halibut- a crowd pleasure and a guaranteed winner. I've never tasted anything like it- in a good way. So, so creative... I mean all of the dishes we had were at least tasty... so a good culinary experience all-around. But now on to the not so perfect part of the experience. Starting with the ambiance... Not so high-end. Not so great. The service- a bit too casual. A bit too efficient. And why don't you have menus? That's just plain stupid. And finally, the price. Even with 9 courses, we weren't necessarily that full. But you wouldn't be able to tell based on the check. Crazy expensive. We don't regret going though. It's nice to fancy-pants it on an island every now and again. But you're gonna pay for it.

It has been a long time since Ive been able to do a proper tasting, and I'm glad Blue 11 was able to accommodate us. The menu changes so pay attention as they will list out all courses we had a choice of a 7, 9, or 11 course tasting. We both did a 9 course tasting, which was enough for me to be full. The cuisine is absolutely exquisite, most of the dishes were a Caribbean inspired/ deconstructed version elevated to the max. Everything from the plating to even the smallest of accompaniments on the plate were perfectly executed. An interesting dish that i wont forget was a halibut with foamed cassava and passionfruit butter, one of the most perfectly balanced and plate-licking delicious dish I have ever had. Hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to. Just a note, the tastings are quite expensive at the time of this review (~$120 for a 9 course per person) but the bold and unique flavors that this place boasts would put any foodie on cloud nine. The plates are quite small, so i would recommend at least a 9 course to get a full meal. If we ever visit St. Thomas again, I will be returning here without a doubt.

Do not miss Blue 11 it is a must to do in St.Thomas. Experience of a lifetime. You will want to lick the plate and feel free to do so! Every plate was as spectacular as the next. Chef Benjy is an outstanding Chef and artist for sure. The hospitality is impeccable! Service is amazing! The restaurant is so inviting you feel like home with a romantic vibe. Sit at the counter and watch the magic as they prepare your meal! You will not walk away hungry! I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. If you miss this one you have missed the totally taste and experience of the true Carribean in St. Thomas

We came here for our 46th anniversary. It was an amazing experience. They played music celebrating and honoring anniversaries. We were presented with a card from the staff wishing us happy anniversary. Our server also presented us with a complimentary glass of Champagne and toast! The cuisine was fabulous spotlighting local and indigenous fruits, vegetables and dishes of the Caribbean. The menu offers a two tasting sampler offerings at a flat rate or you can order from the menu à la cart. We did the à la cart menu since to us it was more affordable. We shared a Whelks & Rice appetizer, I had the filet mignon medallions with a guavaberry sauce, my husband had the Wagu Beef Short Ribs. We shared the dessert a. Beignet.with local favor ice cream and sauce. Our dishes were delicious especially the short ribs & appetizer. We asked to meet the Chef to express our delight and appreciation for the marvelous dinner and celebration of our 46th anniversary. He came before we left and we were able to thank him personally for a memorable experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and the staff was most welcoming and hospitable. We highly recommend for that special occasion , be aware this was an Expensive $$$$$, undertaking for us but worth the saving up for !

We originally had another restaurant on our radar but BOY were we happy we decided to take the short walk from the ship pier to Cravin' Crabs! They even serve Pancit (a delicious filipino noodle/spaghetti dish) I was not expecting to see that on the menu! Then when we left we realized there's a Filipino deli right next-door. So apparently it's authentic. The seafood was fresh and all the sides were unique and scrumptious! There was one side we enjoyed, we were not sure what it was, we could only decide it was the mashed potatoes, it tasted and had the texture more of some sort of dressing. Our server asked if we wanted some of the Tuscan seafood gravy on it and Yes, Yes, yes!! We did!! There was a little bit of a language barrier but we just pointed at what we wanted and it all worked out!! The food is right in front of you like cafeteria style so you can see what you are getting. My husband and I split one Tuscan Seafood plate with two sides, that was MORE than enough for the two of us for lunch. We'd definitely go back next time we are in ST. Thomas. Bravo!

This trip…read moretook me to St. Thomas, and being an island community, it also meant seafood, which I love and is hard to come by in Phoenix, AZ. The Fish Market sits on the beach at the bottom of the Elysian Hotel. While you can walk there, it's a long, winding road through the hotel grounds. While I want to say we were met with a warm island welcome, instead, we were met by a grouchy young lady who seemed less than happy to be working or enjoying her day. On a positive note, our waitress, Kieke, was delightful and sweet and a complete opposite from the hostess. As for the food, let me be honest when I say it was one of the top two seafood meals I've had in my life. I got the crab-stuffed grouper with broccolini and couscous. It was cooked perfectly and had a sauce that was delicious! At the end of the day, this was a great experience, and if you can get down to the restaurant (which is a hike), you will absolutely enjoy the meal and ask for Kieke and ignore the rude hostess.

Both were really good; the nachos were super fresh and flavorful with a nice mix of textures, and the scramble was light but still filling with plenty of veggies. Definitely felt like a good, balanced brunch option. The service was great, friendly, attentive, and everything came out at a good pace. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the Bloody Mary. It had a pretty strong horseradish kick, which just isn't my thing, but if you like that extra spice you'd probably enjoy it. Overall, great food, beautiful setting, and a solid brunch spot. I'd absolutely come back (and probably stick to mimosas next time!).

Beware of the Automatic Gratuity…read more We stopped at Hook'd USVI during our visit to St. Thomas. The location is great, the marina views are nice, and the food was okay. We ordered the Fish Tacos, Jerk Smashed Burger, and a Frozen Rum Runner. What future customers need to know is that Hook'd automatically added a 20% gratuity to our bill, even though we were not a large party. Then, at the bottom of the receipt, they included another tip guide suggesting 18%, 20%, and 22% tips. In my opinion, this is misleading. Many people are used to adding a tip when they receive the receipt and may not notice that a 20% gratuity has already been added. It's easy to accidentally tip twice. I have absolutely no issue rewarding good service, but restaurants should be upfront and transparent when gratuity is automatically included. Customers shouldn't have to carefully inspect the bill to avoid paying an extra 20% on top of an already-added 20%. The food was decent, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the billing practice left a bad impression. Before you sign your check, review it carefully and make sure you know exactly what has already been added. Bottom line: Decent food, nice location, but check your receipt closely. The automatic 20% gratuity and additional tip suggestions can easily lead to double tipping if you're not paying attention. I've attached a photo of the receipt so customers can see exactly what I'm referring to.
