However, LESS THAN A YEAR LATER, the steel bench is rusting. I contacted customer service and sent photos to which they responded, "It must be moisture, that's why it's rusting." My guests, who are not frequent, put their shoes in the cubbyhole. They certainly do NOT put soaking WET shoes for days in the SAME CUBBYHOLE to make it rust this way. Otherwise, this is where I store my cookbooks. They offered me an outsourced furniture service to 'fix' the issue AT MY COST. The fact that they won't listen to me, or admit this is a faulty piece of furniture, and help me replace it is mind-boggling. For over $700 and Less than a YEAR in my home, NOT EXPOSED CONSTANTLY to WET SHOES makes ZERO sense why this is happening. And instead of being of assistance to keep me as a customer who has spent over $3.5k at this store, it is just sad and VERY BAD service. One would have to keep a wet rag in place for this to have happened in this amount of time.

I purchased an expensive reclining sofa from them and one of the switches which raises and lowers the sofa broke. When I reached out to the store, I was told to contact their repair service in New Jersey where the phone rings and rings and nobody picks up. You then must leave a message...After several messages, sending them a photo, and paying in advance, I finally arranged to have a technician come and replace the switch. When the technician arrived he said he was sorry but he didn't have the switch and I would be called to reschedule. He left after only 10-15 minutes. That was on Dec 16th, 2025. After never hearing back, I reached out on nine (9!) separate occasions and no one ever returned my calls. I then had to go back to their Union Square location in NYC where I had previously emailed with their "customer service" only to be told that someone from the repair service would call me the following day. When that never happened (surprise!) I emailed Ms. Walker in "customer service" who wrote back: "Good Afternoon As per the service department, we re not able to order the needed piece. Regards" I then inquired: "Would Raymour and Flanigan have any suggestions how I might go about getting my sofa repaired?' And the reply came back: "You can check on google" That was yesterday, January 9, 2026. Oh, and one other thing: When the sofa was originally delivered, it came in black, not the mahogany brown color that had been ordered. Having had it carried up four flights of stairs, assembled and installed, I decided not to make a case and have to do it all over again. The next time, I'll go Macy's on Herald Square.

The entrance lobby is big with 2 elevators and escalators. The thing about this Target is that it is extremely small and is not a super store like the ones in the suburbs. It's cool how they made space for this Target in Times Square. They do not have the $1, $3, and $5 value item section in this location. I wish they have that. There are many good steals with that. They have many self checkout kiosks in this location and a ramp to the food pantry towards the back of the store. They have many travel essentials by the checkout section for tourists since Times Square got a lot of tourists.

All of the computer products are locked and will need store personal to get the item. Self checkout was okay until the paper ran out and could not print receipts, and did not return my change without a store associate flagging me down to return my $2. No matter how big businesses try to use computers to replace humans. Humans will always be needed.

A few days after the order I realized I had made a mistake - I ordered a dual fuel wood/natural gas oven, when I actually needed dual fuel wood/propane. I called and spoke to Luca who immediately made the change in their system. The oven was delivered the next day and the delivery person was extremely courteous and helpful. Again, I made another mistake. I forgot to order the stand to put the pizza oven on. I called Luca again and he took payment for the stand and offered to waive the FedEx costs since I paid for assembly initially. That would have been great customer service already, but to go a step further, Luca called me back and said they would put it on a truck and deliver it that same day. Such a great experience!
