I'll post an update when we get the cooktop/downdraft and once everything is done. So far the initial experience has been v fluid.

We are in process of replacing the appliances in our 15 year old home. We came to look around for a 36-in cooktop, downdraft, 48-in refrigerator, double stack oven, warming drawer.
We did wait a few moments but Stuart came out quickly to meet us. He showed us around the appliances and explained his reasoning for recommending the appliance.
After we got an idea of what we were interested in, Stuart immediately drafted a quote then said he would send us an email of the quote so when we decide to order, he'd have it up and ready. He was quick to send us that email.
We were hoping the store could give us a deal and we'd change out all the appliances in our home but since it wasnt possible, we decided to just buy the appliances slowly, as they malfunction. Our current viking cooktop is getting real crusty; it's old. 15 yrs old and malfunctioning. So we ended up ordering a *Blue star 5 burner gas cooktop*. I'm sooo looking forward for it to come. beyond stoked. I'm a little too delighted I think. (Ig this is how you know you're adulting lol). Our home is more tuscan, old world style and this cooktop is a little more industrial. I sacrificed a bit on the look and am hoping it will be okay since it's top quality.. like restaurant grade. Im hoping the price will be worth it and that it'll last. Looks were first for me, but ofc it's also balanced w quality and longevity. Omg I'm so excited just thinking/writing about it. It's getting weird.

Simple layout. V small. Almost like a warehouse style. Seems generally clean.
TIP: bc everyone's doing home renos rn, expect to wait anywhere from 6 wks to 6 mos for your appliance to arrive! Be patient!
I N F E C T I O N P R E V E N T I O N
None of the employees were wearing masks. No hand sanitizer available. There was a box of masks sitting on a side table. Masks do not seem enforced here. So we definitely kept at a distance as best we could.
B A T H R O O M
It is a small warehouse so I didn't expect bathrooms to be restaurant level, but it was clean and spacious. It was nice of them to let me borrow the bathroom. I was doing the dance. I lit have the bladder of a 2 yr old.
S E R V I C E
Stuart was fantastic. He was quick. He was v knowledgeable. He asked what specifics we were looking for and basically then kept firing on, like rambling, about what he liked, didn't like and why, about each product. He would compare the products to help us decide which would be the best fit for us. He was very willing and patient to explain when I had any questions, and to clarify when I didn't understand what he meant. It's evident that he cares about what he does.
I N S T A L L A T I O N
We were quoted over the phone about 500 for the new cooktop, downdraft installation and to remove/ dispose of our current. The order would ship to SR and installer would deliver then install for us. We will pay the installer once completed.

He couldn't do anything about giving a package deal if buying from multiple different brands but he did tell us about offers like if we were to buy a bundle of all appliances from a specific brand (ie if we buy thermador cooktop, dual oven, ?fridge, get downdraft for free). We didnt want to stick to one brand; brand doesn't matter as much.. we want to buy the best cooktop, best oven, etc. We want it to last. You'll use it everyday. It's an investment right?
