If your preference is damaged floral bundles (not bouquets), dreadful customer service, and crippling value disparity (you don't get what you pay for), this may be the slapdash operation for you. Oh, and if you want to damage your relationship with your significant other as badly as the flowers you'll be sending them, these are your people! I'm convinced the people who have given Bloomsy Box a rating higher than a star (the lowest option) have never received flowers before or may have a poverty of familiarity with the notion of a bouquet. Despite repeated requests to their customer service department to stop sending rag bags which may poison our pets, nature's little bundles of toxins continued to arrive until our subscription was cancelled. Perhaps they should reposition their products as a prank for people who wish to send deep disappointment and unmistakable ill will. read more

I decided to try a new online flower delivery business - and loved the presentation of the bouquets as pictured on bloomsybox.com. Unfortunately, the end result was somewhat disappointing. Pros: The ordering process was easy (online). Delivery was on time. The flowers are very pretty. Flower food included. Cons: The quantity of blooms is NOT as pictured on their website. The blooms arrived wilted. *Update* - They have perked up a bit today (day 2 - see photo) and aren't as wilted. But the amount of blooms included in order is still less than what is in the photograph on their website. I'm just glad they look MUCH better than day 1 - which was disappointing. read more

The idea of having fresh flowers sent to my wife each month was an appealing concept. She loves fresh flowers and in addition to the smile they put on her face, they brighten our home. BloomsyBox sources flowers from an Ecuadorian grower and sends them by FedEx to the recipient. The devil is in the details and shipments by 'overnight' couriers have been impeded by weather issues, continued supply chain bottlenecks and the logistics of swift delivery of perishable flowers to expectant customers. My first shipment, expected to arrive before Christmas, was delivered 4 days late. It was no surprise that instead of a buoyant bouquet of fresh flowers, what arrived was a box of wilted flora. Bless her heart, BloomsyBox service agent Lisa did what she could to make right the balagan that my order had become by sending a replacement bouquet. As of this writing, they were never received. BloomsyBox was prompt with my requested refund, for which I credit them, but unable to fulfill the promise of the concept for which they advertise. There are just too many variables attendant with harvesting fresh flowers in South America and transporting them to US customers in a timely manner to provide for the striking but ephemeral beauty that fresh flowers add. Upon receiving the tardy box of flowers and realizing that they originate in Ecuador, I had to question the environmental cost of shipping flowers by air freight; first to to the freight hub in Memphis, then to Houston and then by diesel powered truck-I know the courier company still uses diesel as I was behind one- to my home address. My mother was delivered flowers for Mothers Day on Friday May 12th at 3:32 PM. She was home for delivery and opened them right away. I went over to see her Saturday morning at 9 and my jaw dropped when I saw the $90 arrangement we had paid for. In less than 18 hours everything was dried out and drooping very badly. Carnations were dried up and brown all the way around and in multiple layers on the flower. Gerbera daisy as good as dead and dropping petals all over the place. The card was also blank so she had no idea who they were from. I know I wrote a nice lovely sentiment in them, but they claim there was no message given to them. I tried to call and got a voicemail. I also sent their customer service number a text at 11 am Saturday. I was VERY EMBARRASSED that this is what she would receive. I took pictures when Mom was out of the room. Customer service is only M-F 8A-6P EST. They returned my text this morning 5/15/23 at 9:07 AM EST and told me it's best to call. When I called I spoke with Laurie who at first was nice and by 3 minutes in was laughing and screaming and talking over me. She proceeded in telling me their company had received hundreds of emails over the weekend and "she must really like her job if she chose to come in today". To make things worse if that is possible, I requested a callback from the Supervisor, who I'm told is names Isabel and told "she will call me" no idea of when or any confirmation of the number she will be calling. As of this writing and speaking to Laurie that was 2 hours ago and counting. There are SO MANY options out there and honestly a few $3.99 ALDI bouquets would have been better than what she received for over $90! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Update to End of business day on 5/15/23. Isabel finally spoke with me and told me she had listened to the days calls with Laurie. She made excuses about her employees with health issues, working over the weekend to help package flowers etc. I asked how long their company has been in business and she said 8 years. My response was if only their company had 8 years of data prior so they could ANTICIPATE how busy they would be on Mothers Day 2023 and they could hire additional help. She completely condoned her employee(s) hanging up on me multiple times and said her employee took offense when I mentioned this yelp review? Nothing like the photos unfortunately. 2 Stars for the subscription concept & decent customer service. I began my subscription in December for Christmas time. I went with the largest flower arrangement possible to see what I would get, & what I got was so disappointingly unimpressive. Flowers are reportedly sent fresh cut & immediately shipped, so they are fresh cut stems but without any water preservation during transit. You do get a notification that they've been sent so you can plan to scoop them up into water asap but that's not always possible of course. I ordered once, then one more time to give it a chance. Both arrangements had squished, wilting flowers with some damage. Some leaves were brown. I had to trim leaves & blooms on each one, then trimmed stems diagonally to maximise water absorption & hoped for the best. They perked up only just a bit. I really wanted to like this service bc I thought it would be a special treat to have a surprise new flower arrangement every month to follow the seasons. After the first delivery I had to pare down the arrangement so much I called, let them know, & sent pics. They did give me a 20$ refund. I cancelled my subscription immediately after opening the second delivery bc it was the same situation. Great concept but decidedly not worth it all around for price & quality. Terrible value. Nothing "farm fresh" - can buy better roses at my local grocery store for 75% less. Also - have never seen a bouquet of roses sent from a florist with stems of varyigng heights. I gave them a try. You get alot of flowers in the box but they unfortunately only last a max of 4 -5 days, even after diligently changing the water and cutting the stems to see if that would help, which it didn't. That's a very expensive, and depressing cost of a subscription. When we told Bloomsby that the flowers started wilting after a day, they were nice and agreed that it was not normal and sent a replacement delivery. Same thing happened even though it was send to us directly from the source. They sent a complimentary bunch which had much hardier flowers, but the more delicate ones also wilted quickly. We forgot to cancel the subscription and not surprisingly, the ones sitting on our table right now started wilting after 3 days. We know it's not our home environment because we used to get flowers from Trader Joes which lasted at least a week and we just got a delivery for condolences on the same day as this last delivery and those flowers are doing well. My daughter sent me flowers late in the day on 05/09/2022. When I received them on the 05/10/2022 I was looking at wilting, brown, old flowers for the most part. I believe there was 1 flower that was fresher. I sent a note to the company telling them to pay my daughter back for the terrible flowers or send new fresh flowers. I asked them to respond. The petite orchids are pitiful looking and not like it was pictured on your website. Purchased a 3 month subscription for a gift. Attached are photos of two bouquets. One arrived completely dead so a replacement, complete with browning pink roses was sent. The other bouquets received were nothing special, not a quality product. The company claims all sales are final, no refunds or any price adjustments. And stated: "As long as they are not drooping, facing the floor, they are alive" A very disappointing product and an embarrassing gift. read more

I bought two orders of flowers and signed up for one subscription. The first set of flowers came on time and the quality was adequate. The second set of flowers were not delivered in seven days so I sent an email asking for my money to be refunded and all subscriptions to be cancelled. The customer service ignored that and just responded when they would be delivered which they were the next day. Next month I received the subscription that I asked to be cancelled and the flowers wilted in three days. Upon speaking to their customer service today and when I explained the two issues I had, I was given an that all flowers come from another continent and that lead time is the same as every other company. When I inquired why I my direction to cancel my subscription was blatantly ignored they simply said sorry didn't see it. Once they realized I was going to cancel, they offered no replacement or refund. Clearly BloomsyBox does not stand by their product, service or have any interest in their brand. They only are interested in customers if they can make future profit of them. Very poor customer service and the product is sub par. Will not return again and considering the low star reviews on yelp I am not the only displeased customer. read more
