We hired Keely in 2010 to clean our home on a regular…read morebasis, after a long list of incompetent housekeepers from other companies (who sent over countless different people, charged for more time than they spent cleaning, stole prescription meds, stopped showing/answering calls suddenly etc). Now I wish we had hired her WAY sooner than that, because Keely and her employees were fantastic in every way. They charged us a set rate rather than by the hour (I felt better about that because I didn't have to deal with cleaning ladies stretching out the time and then charging you lots, as has happened to us before), always did an excellent job getting everything spotless (which was a challenge in our 100+ year old rental house from IU Real Estate, which got treated harshly by previous undergrad residents), and I enjoyed chatting with her too. We just relocated to another state for work, so we had Keely do a final move out cleaning, and we got our ENTIRE deposit back, which is a first for us after 12 years in 12 different rental houses/apartments. In short, we've hired about 7 or 8 different cleaning companies in the last couple of years and this is easily the only company about which I have no complaints whatsoever. Our only regret is that she can't come work for us in Oregon, where we've found a cleaning lady who's good but chats nonstop about her personal drama haha. A bonus: Keely's husband (I forget his name, I haven't met him) apparently does carpet cleaning. We had been to another flooring company in the past, but this time we went to Wylie's Floor Coverings. We are so happy that we gave Wylie's a try! The salesmen in the showroom were very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions about the types of flooring we were considering without being pushy. We made an appointment for someone to come out and measure the old floors. Then, we met Gene, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He arrived on time to measure the rooms, and do a humidity test on the subfloor of the house. He explained the process, the timeline and he also gave us the estimate. We paid 50% of the total cost up front with the remainder to be paid when the job was done. Wylie's floor installers, Mike and David completed the job on time and they did an outstanding job! Our new floors are gorgeous! We are so happy with the beautiful job Wylie's Floor Coverings did for us! We will be hiring them again to repair the slate stone patio of our new house in the near future. We highly recommend Wylie's Floor Coverings!

Good work but pricey. I did a interior work with Miller Precision Painting in Jan 2024. He priced…read more$2400 and upon finishing, requested another $400 because it took longer than expected. I recently proposed an exterior project and he quoted me $11700 in the beginning but later promtly reduced to $7500 because another 5-star vendor offered $6600 to do the project. I tried to negotiate a $6800-$7000 price to still perform the project with Miller Precision Painting but he rudely rejected with strong emotion. Based on my simple math calculation, he likely over-charged me by 36%. Also, Mr. Miller is just so arrogant during the whole communication process. I invited him over three times to meet in person but he never showed up as the appointments were. I am guessing it is because I have a foreigner face here and he never took me seriously. Overall, I have no problem with the quality of service provided. But the pricing and the communication needs to strongly improve.
