This last time I had my oil changed, I realized that I left my wallet at work. When I confessed that I didn't have my wallet, they just opened the garage door and said that if I couldn't find it by the time they closed, I could come back in the morning and pay. They had total trust in me that I'd return and pay (which I did, promptly) and they didn't roll their eyes or anything.

From what I could tell, one of their employees had to drive half an hour away to get the part. I appreciated the prioritization and honesty. At another point, one oil tech pointed out to me that my oil didn't quite require changing yet, and saved me from changing it a couple of months early. I was treated with friendliness and respect by the few staff members that I had interactions with. I was offered bottled water from their mini-fridge or coffee. During my last service, I used their restroom and found it to be surprisingly clean and sanitary. I don't recall what the cost was for a full synthetic service on my vehicle, but I do know that I felt it was reasonably priced (not too cheap or too expensive). I guess the only negative thing that I could report about this establishment is that the oil change service did take longer than I have experienced with other oil change places around Bloomington - Normal. I can see how this could potentially bother other patrons. I was/am not bothered by the added length of time, because I saw that all of the staff were working hard & I didn't see any slacking off or laziness during both of my experiences. ** I would prefer for them to take any extra time to be thorough with everything, so they don't miss anything and I am given the best quality. I brought my vehicle in for a complete oil change at the speedlube in Bloomington Illinois. I…read morespecifically asked if they could check my manual transmission oil level. I am concerned about it because my transmission seems to be starting to cause a problem. They said yes they could. They come out to collect the money and then tell me they couldn't check the oil level. I checked online and it looks like an easy check if you can get underneath the vehicle. So I paid more than $60 for a job that was not completely done. When called to ask he was unapologetic and said the did the rest of the job. He finally offered $6 back. I do not want to go back to this place again so I declined his offer. I want people to know that this could happen.
