The owner had her pet baby goat in the store, which was absolutely adorable and made the whole experience even more fun. She let me pet and hold her, and the little goat was incredibly friendly. She kept trying to eat all of the flowers in the store, which had everyone laughing! Since it was the Lavender Festival, they had a wonderful selection of lavender products, including soaps, salves, hand creams, and candles. Everything is locally sourced and organic, and the scents were amazing--so relaxing and fresh. I ended up bringing home some lavender soap and hand cream. They also carry beautiful jewelry, necklaces, rings, knickknacks, DIY bouquet kits, and small floral arrangements that are both lovely and inexpensive. There are so many cute, locally made treasures throughout the shop, all with a charming farmhouse vibe. This is such a fun place to browse, shop local, and take pictures. If you're in Pollock Pines, I highly recommend stopping by this adorable little gem! :)

The cameos had a plant or flower theme. Plus the shop is right next door to Blue Barn, a cafe that serves meals, pastries, and local beer and wine. Family friendly. And within walking distance are two wine tasting rooms.

She was available for phone conversations and was very responsive via email. She was able to provide a very helpful packet of ceremony ideas, including sample vows and readings that made it easy to add our own personal touches. It really helped us plan a ceremony that was uniquely "us." If you're looking for a compassionate but not necessarily religious ceremony, definitely talk to Monique. She's a pro.

I am not a picky customer, but I realized that that made me a difficult customer. Because when Monique would ask what I liked I would reply with, "I like daisies and wildflowers, I dunno do whatever you think would look nice" haha Monique worked with me though and through pinterest and only one face to face meeting she pulled off exactly what was in my mind. The best part were all the small surprises on the wedding day. A small brooch on my bouquet, the engraved initials on the Mothers wrist cuff corsages, and small touches like milk glass vases on the head table. I would highly recommend Monique to anyone! Her style is one of a kind and she is a pleasure to work with!

It is owned by a local woman entrepreneur. The garden center building is compact and filled with practical functional items and fun decorative items (perfect gift items). Some of the items are heirloom and organic flower & vegetable seeds, seed potatoes, plant food, gardening tools, houseplants, pots/planters, garden art, and wind chimes... just to name a few. Outside is the nursery with native flowers and plants, fruit trees, and vegetable plants. The outdoor area is compact. The plants are labeled to indicate if they are deer resistant which is important in these parts. Deer is abundant in these parts, and they have an appetite. The nursery inventory is thoughtfully laid out. Towards the back of the outside nursery is where the yoga studio is located. In addition to the yoga studio, there is a concrete patio with a view of the nursery below . That is where the outdoor yoga classes are held. They offer instruction in various types of yoga. The class schedule and pricing is posted on their website. Take a peek, pricing averages $15 a class and 10 class purchase is $120. The owner recently opened a cafe on the property. Nourish Cafe serves up cold pressed juices, fresh fruit smoothies, artisanal coffee, nourishing soups, and vibrant salads. Finding parking can be challenging. There is about 12 dedicated parking spaces in front on Green Valley Road. However, this place is popular. "Just Wing It!" We…read morehad a change of heart a day before our wedding. We're supposed to get wed at City Hall of SF with our 30 closest friends and family. But unfortunately City Hall will not allow us to have more than 6 witnesses to witness our wedding.. So the day before our wedding on July 18th we decided to just WING IT and get married in the park and hire an officiant so our Family and Friends can be part of our special day. We went and searched Yelp and found Amber! We told her that we need an officiant the next day and told her the story of our last minute change of heart. Even she was surprised! We asked if she knows a place in San Francisco where we can get married and she suggested an amazing Garden in San Francisco. Everything fell into place from there! We hired Amber to officiate our wedding and thank God she was available with the last minute notice!!! And even though we never met her not once and just communicated thru e-mail she performed a lovely ceremony that we will cherish always and never be forgotten! We got the wedding my wife always wanted, a small intimate garden wedding with our closest Family and Friends! We are so lucky we found Amber and became part of our Special day! We still can't believe that we just Winged our wedding and became one of the most memorable day of our life!!! We will definitely recommend Amber and will definitely hire her again if we can get married again :)! Thank you Amber! Always, Michael and Charimel

Amber, Chris, and I sat in a cafe for about an hour where she took the time to get to know our story, our values, and our hopes for our ceremony. I was very stressed from all the planning and organizing, but after I left our meeting, I felt so much weight lifted off my shoulders. Amber made us comfortable from her confidence and compassion. Based on our meeting and a relationship questionnaire, Amber suggested some readings and crafted a ceremony that was simply perfect for us. There were some key things that were important for me to be included, or not, in the ceremony, and her ideas were just right. The day of the ceremony, Amber helped calm me again. And we had SO many compliments on the ceremony, and many for Amber, herself, too! My mom was so excited at how eloquent of a speaker Amber was that she mentioned it several times. Hiring Amber to perform our ceremony was one of the best wedding decisions we made! THANKS, AMBER for making our special day even more special!
