But, she was over an hour late delivering them to my ceremony site. When I received them she didn't apologize for being late. She gave me bouquets that didn't resemble anything I had asked for and they were dead looking. She tried to blame it on the Northern California drought this past winter. Except I knew exactly where she bought the flowers from ahead of time. So, I called and asked Flora Fresh where the flowers were shipped from. They were from South America, where they weren't having a drought. You would think that a Florist who has been in business for about 10 years would know what a good quality flower looks like. The ones on her website, didn't resemble anything close to the quality we were expecting. I would of hoped she would of contacted me sooner and told me the flowers she had from the "bad drought" were not good quality and if I would like anything different. She did not! I emailed her a few days after the wedding and told her I was dissatisfied with my service and quality of flowers. She told me she would reimburse me for the delivery fee and try and contact the Floral Supply. I then emailed and called her twice the very next week to see if she had heard anything and that I would also like a partial refund. She NEVER returned any of my other emails or phone calls. She avoided me! I would NOT recommend her at all, even to my worst enemy! She is unreliable and VERY unprofessional.

"Just Wing It!" We…read morehad a change of heart a day before our wedding. We're supposed to get wed at City Hall of SF with our 30 closest friends and family. But unfortunately City Hall will not allow us to have more than 6 witnesses to witness our wedding.. So the day before our wedding on July 18th we decided to just WING IT and get married in the park and hire an officiant so our Family and Friends can be part of our special day. We went and searched Yelp and found Amber! We told her that we need an officiant the next day and told her the story of our last minute change of heart. Even she was surprised! We asked if she knows a place in San Francisco where we can get married and she suggested an amazing Garden in San Francisco. Everything fell into place from there! We hired Amber to officiate our wedding and thank God she was available with the last minute notice!!! And even though we never met her not once and just communicated thru e-mail she performed a lovely ceremony that we will cherish always and never be forgotten! Amber, Chris, and I sat in a cafe for about an hour where she took the time to get to know our story, our values, and our hopes for our ceremony. I was very stressed from all the planning and organizing, but after I left our meeting, I felt so much weight lifted off my shoulders. Amber made us comfortable from her confidence and compassion. Based on our meeting and a relationship questionnaire, Amber suggested some readings and crafted a ceremony that was simply perfect for us. There were some key things that were important for me to be included, or not, in the ceremony, and her ideas were just right. The day of the ceremony, Amber helped calm me again. And we had SO many compliments on the ceremony, and many for Amber, herself, too! My mom was so excited at how eloquent of a speaker Amber was that she mentioned it several times. Hiring Amber to perform our ceremony was one of the best wedding decisions we made! THANKS, AMBER for making our special day even more special!

I have this really cool vintage vase that I just love and my trader joe's flowers were doing it…read morezero favors and dying in 2 or 3 days. So I called Paper Moon to see if I could bring it in and have something created that would do my vase some justice. Andrea and Pat were so kind and let me babble on about how I knew nothing about flowers and had no idea what I wanted. Which i'm sure was not helpful but despite that they created an incredible arrangement for my vase. I was so thrilled to see them when I picked them up that I almost cried but I managed to keep my cool. They ended up lasting over 10 days with very simple water changes and some end trimming and I can't wait to go back and get another amazing arrangement.

Do NOT get married here. The venue is very pretty, but organizationally, they are a complete mess…read more We were trapped into it with lofty promises and a deposit of half the whole cost. There was no communication between staff, poor communication between the management and us as clients, employees were unsure of their own roles and our provided "day of coordinator" had zero idea how to coordinate a wedding and I as the bride had to keep the day moving and tell her what to do next. (Even though we came up with a typical schedule together.) The management didn't know the size of the tables available at this location, and at our rehearsal the day before our wedding, we were told that we had to redo our whole seating chart because the tables were actually smaller than we knew. The food was brought up all the way from Sacramento in a U-haul truck, which was visible to the ceremony site during the ceremony. Half of our guests got sick afterwards. The food menus they gave to us to select catering from did not reflect what was actually available either. The chef took our selections down with a sticky note, and they lost that sticky note. They had to call us to confirm our choices. Choices we had to change AGAIN because the menu changed again. I even had to fight to have a decorated cake, and even then it ended up being extremely minimalist by design. More than once our wedding detail consultation dates had to be changed in favor of weddings that were much larger than our smaller event. They basically left our event planning to the very last minute. 2 months in advance. We spent $500 on liquor and sodas for people who didn't care for our pre-fabricated signature drinks (old fashioned's and French 75's) but the venue provided bartender never even touched those supplies. Instead, he opened up all of our red wine bottles at once, giving no thought for guest demand. We had to throw out half of the untouched wine bottles at the end of the night. Our guests had ZERO idea that there were more drink options. Please save yourselves and get married somewhere else. We are haunted by this experience.

I had a few ideas of how I wanted the night to go and Sue helped to make that possible at her gorgeous log cabin venue. I had quite a few things to set up and Sue allowed us in early to take care of the setup so we weren't rushing and stressed right before the event. The holiday decor was transformed from Christmas trees to classy and elegant whites and golds for my event colors/theme. Everything was beautiful and the tri-tip buffet was delicious!! I would love to have another event at the Sierra Banquet Center! Thank you Sue (and your team) for all that you did to make my dads celebration so memorable!
