There are many good things to say about Naomi and At First Blush. Prior to the wedding she was very…read moreavailable and easily assessable. We had a very challenging venue (our back yard) and our house wasn't finished yet. But Naomi took it in stride and assured me everything would work out. She always answered my texts and emails promptly. She also worked very well with my caterer. She also introduced me to two vendors who were the top in their field - Emily Holmes for the invitations and Vintage Florals for the flowers. I cannot say enough good things about these two vendors. There were things the day of the wedding that did get missed. The usher boutonnieres were forgotten, the refreshment stand did not get put up, and the planner was not present for 2 hours of set up the morning of the wedding (my husband and I did it). Many family members commented to me that the rehearsal seemed very unorganized. However, these are just small details that no one really cares about. Overall, the wedding turned out great.

My wife and I contacted Sushil very late into our wedding planning process, as in weeks before the wedding, and our only regret is that we didn't reach out to him sooner! Sushil's professionalism, attention to detail, and wonderful, easy-going communication style stood out far beyond any other wedding designer we worked with. I can confidently say without him and within our timeframe, we would not have been able to pull together such an incredible vision for not one or two, but THREE unique, gorgeous events. The Sangeet, a fun, festive, colorful design full of floral patterns and gorgeous royal purple. The Ceremony, with a stunning mandap made of entirely fresh florals. Finally, the Reception, full of elegant touches and red flowers, created an absolutely dazzling finale to our wedding. Our first look at the reception was truly incredible, and we loved the surprise entrance Sushil added in (so magical!) All three events were unique, vibrant, and full of love - not only a reflection of our ideas as the bride and groom, but the love and passion Sushil has for his work. If you're wondering which designer to use for your wedding, Utopian Events is definitely worth meeting. Sushil will not lead you astray - he has a true eye for detail, and his ability to bring your vision to life is phenomenal.
