Absolutely the worst customer service!!! The associate CALLIE was extremely rude, condescending, disrespectful and aggressive. She acted like it was an inconvenience to her to ask a question about their return policy. Due the horrible customer service I will NEVER buy anything from Party City again. It's always super fun to shop at Party City, especially during the Halloween season! This location has a beautiful storefront, with big glass windows and pillars. Definitely the most unique Party City I've ever seen! The COVID-19 percautions they are taking, are all employees and customers are required to wear masks, as well as social distancing being enforced. It always makes me feel safe to shop when there's a mask requirement! Inside they have all of their Halloween animatronics setup! It's so fun that they have them setup so that you can interact and see them before possibly purchasing any. Beware! They are all on sound sensors so they may turn on out of nowhere! And the Smiling Jack one has a shovel that pops up super quick! Be sure it dosen't hit you! LOL! Anyhow, I had a super fun experience here and look forward to visiting again in the future. read more

Big store, lots of different products (99% of which appear to be geared for children) but the organization and service offset the selection. In all my visits, it's been difficult to find what I was looking for (birthday party items for an adult family birthday) and impossible to find an associate to assist me. Most recently I stopped in for party invitations and some buffet items - after wandering every aisle, I found the (small) section of invitations. The selection was pretty limited to start with and half the ones on the shelves were oriented for children. I eventually found a set I could use and then took my items to the checkout line...where I waited...and waited...and waited. On a busy weekend there were two associates working the registers. Not awesome. Unless you absolutely need those expensive specialty balloons, there's no reason to drive to Party City. There's nothing in the store that I can't buy from the comfort of my living room online and have delivered the next day. read more

One was filling balloons and the other just standing there watching him and the customers. So poor of service...unbelievably bad! This is why Amazon wins every time!!! Worst party city ever. I went in to return a Halloween costume that I had gotten two of so that I could make sure they fit because I was told I can return it for store credit. I bought these costumes (two of the exact same thing in different sizes) AFTER Halloween in November because I was told I could return it for store credit. This store and the manager, OJ, were extremely rude and did not take my return back because the last day to return Halloween items is October 31st, which I completely understand. But how am I supposed to return an item I purchased AFTER Halloween before I bought it? They told me to go back to the other store I purchased it from, which is a bit far from me because of their policies. I told them that if they're all Party City, can he just call the other location and he was adamant about not allowing me to return a returnable item that I was told to take to another location for absolutely no reason. All in all, service sucks, store options suck, they're always out of everything, and their prices are also trash. Anything you buy here you can get for far better quality and pricing elsewhere. What a scam. Telling someone one thing and then not honoring it. Shame on the manager OJ for how he handled the situation and for the cashier to not return an item in accordance with their own policy. No wonder they're always empty lol read more

Horrible customer service. I was standing in line for my items to be purchased. one cashier, Jakeria saw that I was next and pretended that she was busy making me wait. The second cashier, once she was done with a customer, was pretending she was writing something down, prolonging saying anything. It was clear that both cashiers did not want to be in my presence. This is horrible customer service and if you have people who are possibly racist working on your team, consider asking better questions during the interview. I know that everyone is understaffed and life has been scary after Covid but it shouldn't prevent kindness. Very disappointed. Never going back. read more

I purchased balloons to make a unicorn rainbow. Some of the balloons had holes while others deflated. I called the store and spoke to Kevin. Assistant Manager. He was extremely nice and immediately said come in and we will replace the balloons. I explained to him my daughter worked close to his store who originally got the balloons for me and I could not go plus I needed the balloons that afternoon to make my rainbow. He called the store close to me and had them uber me the balloons. In all my years of dealing with companies this by far is beyond excellent customer service experience. This party city is unorganized and staffed with clearly untrained people. While very nice and polite staff, it is certain that this location will not have what you need. Stock is always in boxes and never in inventory and nobody is knowledgeable about the item or location of items in the store. Update. They got the order wrong and popped multiple balloons. I have no idea where they found the staff in this store. After complaining they gave me the balloons for free and refunded my purchase that would have been fine until I got home and realized they half inflated one balloon and one deflated in the car. read more

I waited on a line with 4 people in front of me and all of sudden when it's my turn the cashier told me the line start on the other end, why do all the other people in front of me got service than. Well let's just say I see why the reviews are low and negative. We needed a simple 1 and 8 balloon called and requested it arrived and was told none available. Went across to Michael's and thank goodness they had them. Return back to have them inflated and yes there is a fee about 7.99 a balloon. Not to mention we waited about 30 mins because they were behind on orders and about 4 other ladies were late and upset there orders weren't ready. My daughter was 42 mins late to her 18th birthday dinner with a party of 15 waiting on us. Come on party city what's the point of pre ordering if you don't prep! Sadly a line of unhappy customers because everyone was late due to balloon orders not being ready. I highly doubt we will return here again. read more

Ordered balloons for my daughters birthday, 1 was missing, 1 deflated by the time we got home and our number balloon deflated in 1 day! The nice employee was going to do the right thing and return them but the manager stopped him and didn't care at all about doing anything to "make it right". It's just a normal big box store, geared to party supplies. The aisles are too narrow, the checkout line forces you past a wall of candy, and honestly the place is pretty dark. Absolutely worse customer service ever. To start off I was looking for telebubies theme for my sons birthday. I said excuse to me a worse and she said " what do you want" i wish I was joking. I just walked away and went to get balloons. 2 workers were in the ballon section one just standing there another helping a customer. The one standing didn't even acknowledge I was there holding the 3 balloons I wanted blown up. The other working had to say something to his co worker to help me. Then I went to stand in line. Who I think is the manager took the people behind me when I was next clear as day. The new, larger store is great, however with the current staff they are in trouble. Just went in and waited over 7 minutes for someone to check us out. We were the only people at the register but the 2 girls filling balloons refused to even glance at us. Not once. When one finally came over she did not look at us or speak to us. On a busy Saturday morning, they have two people working. I tried to Oder balloons ahead of time on Thursday but was told I could not but that Saturday would be no problem. I'm going to have agree and hop on the proverbial bandwagon here, the customer service sucks! Today was my second time in this week, looking for birthday and Superbowl party supplies. I was hoping my earlier experience was a fluke or just a bad day. I stood in line behind another lady for a couple of minutes, looking at a women behind the register with Ipod earbuds in who hadn't bothered with even looking up to acknowledge anyone. The light at register one was on, but there wasn't anyone there. I finally spoke up to the fellow helping someone with ballons, "Hello, anybody working register one?" He responded with "Oh, no, um, one sec...". Then the register lady with earbuds spoke into a little microphone and some other chipper fellow appeared to assist. I asked if the chick with earbuds and no name tag, who still never looked up or acknowledged anyone, was "the manager" and he said "yes". I said, "Yeah, it figures". This is why people shop online. I was asked to throw/ co host a baby shower for a friend, and the colors she picked are green and blue, and she doesn't like chocolate... so i was left with quite the daunting task of decorating. I was able to find an awesome selection of blue and green matching items at party city, they even have a whole wall of candy, all different varieties, but all matching colors. I do think the candy was on the high side, but it will do what I need it to do, and provide a cute setting. I picked up the plates and tableclothes, etc at the dollar stroe. Mucho saved some money. but the friendliness of the staff, and checking out was a breeze. She knew imstantly i wwas having some sorft of shower :). read more

I love how big the store is and that's about it! I've been here twice and both times I was waiting for them to open the doors because I was there 10 minutes before they open. They opened the doors 2 minutes late, 9:32. I saw 3 employees total and we spent literally 5 minutes shopping for what we needed and spent the rest of the time waiting for her to blow up ONE balloon and get checked out. 15 minutes to blow up one balloon is ridiculous. read more

At the last minute I decided to get balloons for a birthday. I grabbed my face mask and headed to Party City in Northpoint. I only saw two people working so was concerned because of past reviews. There were other people waiting for balloons so I knew it would be a bit, but one of the clerks approached and asked if she could help me. I was looking for unicorn balloons and she showed me some I hadn't seen on line and even directed me to a section in the store filled with unicorn items. I settled on a large unicorn ballon (a whole unicorn with wings-4ft tall). :) I was concerned about getting it to the car. The lady helping me advised the gentleman blowing up balloons would bring it to me in the car if I preferred and she guaranteed it would fit. I only waited 10 minutes and out came the largest unicorn balloon and he got it in the back seat. My friend was pleasantly surprised. I was happy with the quick service considering stores are just now opening after COVID-19. And both workers wore masks and went out of their way to help each person. My hat (or should I say, my mask) is off to them. read more
