I was very stoked to find this place when I needed to get bereavement flowers for a good friend who was half a continent away. They staff was both professional and communicative. They delivered the flowers with very short notice and were open to a few changes in the delivery instructions because of the sensitive nature of the situation. I am very disappointed in the flowers in the flower arrangement that I paid $99 for. I specifically chose a local florist to use my dollars to support local business. Now, I wish that I had ordered from Tele floral or 1-800 flowers. My lifelong friend just was offered a brand new position which was the culmination of all of her years in child welfare and all of her years in technology. A brand new created position, definitely sign of the Times opportunity. When I called to express my concern, the person at Blooms across Texas after several minutes of discussion finally agreed to offer me a $15 refund on my purchase. I have yet to see this money returned to my account. Next time I will absolutely go with An online service!! They had my order ready in time the next day on Saturday. I was able to remain on schedule for my road trip. I spoke to the son over the phone when I put in my order. Bad experience. I ordered flowers for delivery via their website for Valentine's day. During the order process online I was given every indication that the order completed. My account was also charged (but money came back later) However the order never came. I called the store to find out what happened was told my order was rejected and they had sent an email. But they could not say why it was rejected! I found the email and stated that the order was rejected because I ordered a non Valentine's Day arrangement... The website did not indicate that this was a requirement.. and accepted my order without question. If you are going to take someone so far through the order process and then bail out on them (once the order was 100% completed online) you should know why it happened. Honestly I would expected a phone call. Valentines Day ruined.... Won't use again. read more

On Saturday after one I called to get my sister some birthday flowers delivered same day. I live out of town and really wanted something special for her. I ordered some flowers for delivery and was charged twice about 45 minutes apart. I never once got a curtesy call from them telling me they made a mistake. So finally at the the end of the day I had to call them and tell them to refund me 1 transaction. They claimed they had caught the double charge that morning. Again I never even received a curtesy call about the simple mistake. They assured me I would get my money back on my card that evening. It's now been a couple of days and still haven't been refunded. Now when I call the business (during their business hours) they will not answer the phone. On top of that the flowers were still very green and not even ready to be put out yet. Just a bad experience. I wish I could've gotten a full refund. read more

My husband ordered some Valentine's Day flowers, when I received them on Tuesday, the lillies were already wilting, by Wednesday the daisies were also wilting. I called the florist to let them know. The lady that answered told me the manager would call when she returned. As of Thursday afternoon I have not yet received a phone call. The flowers my mother received from this florist are beautiful. I love in San Diego and order my mother flowers every year. I have tried so many florists who have sent dead/withering and just overall pathetic looking flowers. My mom always let's me and the florist know. This is the first year that I received a call where she said, "The flowers are gooorrrrgeous. I read these reviews (which are nothing like what I experienced) and almost didn't order. There were some pretty flowers but even though I topped off the water that night the rose sprays which were cut really short were completely wilted the next morning and the snapdragons in two days. The flowers should have lasted longer. Even one of the alstramerias wilted. The carnations, a few daisys and the filler lasted. Anyway I gave up and took the arrangement apart finally. And, I'm all for saving $$ but when I washed the vase the Goodwill sticker was still on there! I read in the comments you wished you had been contacted before someone left a review and I understand that as things do happen. I always try to start off with the positive. The good news is that my son placed his order for prom late because whoops! it just slipped his mind that he needed a corsage. They were very accommodating and very easy to place and pick up order. Now to the other side. The boutonniere and corsage were pink roses, and all five of the roses were bruised. At 10 dollars a rose approx. I don't expect the flowers to brown tipped. My son didn't complain at the time because he doesn't like confrontation and by the time I got back to the store they were closed. They close at 2pm on Saturdays. I was out of town when my daughter had an unexpected stay in a hospital. I selected the bouquet I ordered online because it was the only one with bold colors. I did not want the softer colors seen in most bouquets. When I said it was okay to modify the arrangement when necessary, I assumed they would keep the original intent. I ordered them at (8am) the day before with the understanding they would be there for Veteran's Day. By 11:30 on Veteran's Day, they were not there. If you really need flowers to be delivered on a particular day, DO NOT use Bloomin' Across Texas. I placed an order for same-day delivery after I became too ill to travel for Mom's 75th birthday. The order and delivery date were confirmed upon placing my order, and they clearly advertised "same day delivery." The morning after placing my order, I got an e-mail again confirming delivery. The middle of the day on a Saturday, I happen to check e-mail to find they cancelled my order. No phone call despite leaving two numbers, and way too late in the day to find anything else. They advertise what they don't have; they confirm what they never intend to deliver, and they and don't even have the common decency to call the customer. Complete fail. read more

My deceased husband used Bloomin' Across Texas for years. So when the occasion arose I looked them up on the internet. There online delivery service was listed as Flower Delivery Express. To make things easy, I decided to visit them personally. I didn't have my readers, but the salesclerk seemed to know nothing about the prices of the flowers. I had to crawl into the compartment to get a closer view of the prices while the woman stood there dumbfounded.Finally retrieving two vases the woman told me thought I wanted them that day. As those were the only flowers they said they had, I gave up at went to order them online. Delivery cost me just as much as the flowers, plus they added a surcharge! By the end of the day after Mother's Day, the flowers still hadn't arrived! Naturally, all I could get was an automated answering service. I called a few other florist who said they'd be closing soon an couldn't really provide help. I called Blooming across Texas and the man I spoke with (don't remember names) explained that they too are closing soon but would help me if I was close. I wasn't far away so I got there within reasonable time. Upon walking in, Carlene explained to me that there wasn't much left but she'd help me put together the best arrangement as possible.
