First of all when you come to the building you have to go up the stair case and you will see a bunch of doors. Dr. Gerlan office is on the left Side suite 4. He has a seating area for the patiences. Dr. Gerlan will ask for your insurance card and glasses if you wear any. Then he will bring you into his office and do the eye exam. And after he will prescribe you new glasses and show you which are covered by your insurance. Dr. Gerlan was very professional and polite. Highly recommend coming here. Only downside is the parking situation but there is a parking lot around the corner so it's not so bad.

The only problem--their office is only reachable by steep stairs in a building without an elevator. I am getting older and foresee the day I will not be able to manage this. Also, they are not open Wednesdays or Sundays, but this has not been a problem for me. For those who can handle the stairs and the hours, I highly recommend them.

Ordered contacts here and they arrived in a timely matter and they gave me rebate coupons to bring the price down (on par with other eye doctor offices I've been too). I fully understand wanting a new customer but you have to understand, especially in buying something as personal as glasses, that the customer really needs to love them, not just find them fine. I was told they price match 800 Contacts--and maybe they do--but if they forget to apply the price…read morematch, they won't issue a refund, even when it's their mistake. Instead, they only offer store credit. They also try to justify higher pricing by pointing to promotions like "one or two months free" or rebates, claiming it's a better deal than 800 Contacts. In my view, either you price match or you don't. There's also a lot of pressure to buy contacts on the spot. The pricing they offer is presented as a "same-day only" deal and typically requires purchasing a full year's supply upfront. My advice: ask them to print your prescription and consider buying your contacts elsewhere. That way, you're not locked into purchasing a year's supply all at once and can shop around for the best price. Also, note that Dr. Cindy M is no longer with this practice.
