I have also had a horrible experience with Ameet Goyal. One eyelid had drooped, leaving me looking very tired Other eye was perfect...but after he performed surgery on both.....the perfect eye now developed a " cyst". I made two attempts to have him repair this damage....and he suggested that I keep massaging the area. After a few months my husband and I asked for a conference....bc now my lashes in that area did not return. He blatantly refused to take responsibility and was belligerent in his attitude, rude and totally unprofessional.....actually escorting us out as he left the room. Ugh! I visited Dr Goyle to have tear plugs flushed out. A tube gets push through tear duct. Well while he's doing this he is gabbing with assistant and of course my imagination. Went several times before flushed out fold above the eye collapses and blocked my vision! So now need surgery. Preformed surgery on left eye and was prescribed meds. Have an awful reaction and was seen by another doctor who understood changed ointment. Well, my eye starts ducts start oozing gunk and very red. He had stitched upper lid like it was a sack of potatoes. He took too much skin off also! Meanwhile eye vest red and oozing something terrible. Dr Goyal tells me it will go away. Second eye four weeks stitching wasn't good. Meanwhile I am calling other doctors to if someone can tell what's On. Goyle still tells me it's me...me? A very kind surgeon agrees yo take a look and immediately told me it was Contact Bletharitis Conjunctivitis. Sends me to a very reputable specialist helps clear it up Conjunctivitis but will always have severe Bletharitis. It was also in my right eye too but a milder case. My eyes will always have problem, but now, right eyelid is Beginning to sag snd cannot have corrective surgery. My Dermotologist used botox to tighten muscle on right eye. If this incompetence surgeon have treated soon my eyes (left) would not be like this. In conclusion, have difficulty reading, no longer can do my art. Blurry eye throughs me off balance. He is arrogant, condescending, indifferent and to patients Needs. Oh, more but I'll leave it at that. So unprofessional it's mind boggling. So I would assume if you have a simple lid lift you are good to go, humor him, praise him you may get better treatment. Should have litigated. read more

I have tear duct blockage. I visited him three times within one month. It costs me about $500 (from my pocket, not including insurance coverage). He prescriped very expensive eye drop for my pink eye ($50 copayment).He didn't solve my problme at all. Last visit he charged $800 on my both eyes. Dr goyal has been taking care of my mom for the last year. She had a blocked tear duct. He took care of this with the latest endoscopic tear duct procedure.
