I was actually scheduled to have an exam yesterday however I was informed that the office unexpectedly lost not one but two family members that morning. They graciously called me in tears to explain and reschedule me. Their website mentioned this and they had put a sign up on their front door explaining. I know this is a very small family owned business so cannot even imagine how these losses must have felt for them. I think closing yesterday is completely understandable and truly don't understand the need to bash a small family business for having to close for 1 day to grieve. Perhaps one should know more of a situation and the facts before writing such an cruel spirited and apathetic review.

He makes you feel very comfortable, explains everything he is doing, and is very empathetic if you are wary of eye exams. He's also helped me with headaches due to wearing my contacts too much, and treated me for pink eye. I haven't gotten a new pair of eye glasses in awhile, but I do love my Tory Burch pair I got a few years back. The ladies behind the counter are also very friendly and helpful. I will call them occasionally to send me my prescription or order more contacts and they are usually very attentive and responsive.

Was greeted immediately upon walking in by the front end manager, who was also training a young…read morelady. The tech handling the preliminary eye tests was professional, well acquainted with the machines and breezed right through them.... like 8 of them. I can't remember doing so many different tests on an annual eye exam. This place is state of the art. Dr Cindy likewise used state of the art machines during her exam. She also had direct access to the raw data and results that the technician had just gathered. Dr Cindy is young and very intelligent, will be practicing for many more years to come- so I think it's settled. She's going to be my primary optometrist. Afterwards, the same Manager, a rather attractive young woman, I might add- and her trainee assisted me in selecting frames and lens options. She was indeed quite knowledgeable about frames and lenses and was pointing out facts to the trainee that only a seasoned eyewear veteran would know. So, yep, as a man wearing glasses for 50 years- that sealed the deal for me. I look forward to returning in a few days for my glasses, and returning next year.

I was told they price match 800 Contacts--and maybe they do--but if they forget to apply the price…read morematch, they won't issue a refund, even when it's their mistake. Instead, they only offer store credit. They also try to justify higher pricing by pointing to promotions like "one or two months free" or rebates, claiming it's a better deal than 800 Contacts. In my view, either you price match or you don't. There's also a lot of pressure to buy contacts on the spot. The pricing they offer is presented as a "same-day only" deal and typically requires purchasing a full year's supply upfront. My advice: ask them to print your prescription and consider buying your contacts elsewhere. That way, you're not locked into purchasing a year's supply all at once and can shop around for the best price. Also, note that Dr. Cindy M is no longer with this practice.
