When they called a couple of days before the appointment, the doctor's name they confirmed the appointment was with was not the same name I made the appointment with. It turned out that the M.D. ophthalmologist I made an appointment with transformed into a O.D. optometrist. The person on the phone stated they do the same thing. Hell no. From the moment the appointment started, he was dismissive, rushed, and showed no patience or empathy toward my child. I explained her condition in detail, including the fact that her previous specialist had moved and that we were advised to monitor symptoms like increased pain or flashes of light. Instead of acknowledging anything I said, he cut me off and told me there was "nothing we can do" and that she would ''just have to live with the pain." When I questioned how a parent is supposed to accept that, he responded defensively, asking, "Well what do you recommend we do then? What have doctors been able to do for her all these years?" His tone was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. He then said he wasn't the right doctor for her and handed me a list of other doctors. Even as we were putting our jackets on, he stood over us holding the clipboard in my face, demanding that I take it to the front desk. No patience, no basic courtesy. My daughter left the office crying and asked why a doctor would tell her she should live with pain, something no child should ever hear from a medical professional. To make matters worse, when I went to check out and asked the front desk how I could file a complaint, I was told that they didn't have a phone number or email for that!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend him, especially for pediatric care. A doctor should have compassion, patience, and respect, none of which we experienced here.

My parents had recently been to Dr. Terraciano and had great things to say, so I figured it was meant to be and booked an appointment. This office is a family-run private practice; it was originally founded by Pasquale Terraciano and is now run by his son Anthony. In today's age, I'm used to outpatient doctor offices being affiliated with major hospital systems, so I was really surprised to see this office still standing on its own. That doesn't mean that it's behind the times - the office uses cutting edge technology and has a number of options to treat a variety of eye conditions. After being worked up, I met Dr. Terraciano and Dr. Ross. Both were very kind, thorough, and explained things that were easy for me to understand. I was ultimately diagnosed with an eye condition and they did a great job providing me with options that I could work with to treat it. Since my initial visit, I returned for a follow-up and had a similar positive experience. Everyone I interacted with in the office was friendly, and overall I would definitely recommend Dr. Terraciano if you're looking for an ophthalmologist.

I know the doctors are great - I've been there, my friend Marty at Trapp originally recommended them. It would probably take one quick look for them to explain what is going on. They have three doctors and no appointments until the end of October. I've already been to urgent care and they couldn't help me. 'Said to see an ophthalmologist...
