We brought our own skates and were bummed to find out you had to pay to skate, even if you didn't need to rent skates! We paid $10 for each of us, which isn't bad. The night we went, they had "cosmic skate", where all the house lights are turned off and there are dim colored lights cast on the ice. It was a cool concept and something I never experienced before. The Arctic Zone has Sirius XM for their radio and the staff had the "coffee house" music station on. We were finally exhausted of the less than energetic music and asked if they could change it to something more upbeat. They did and things got more exciting! We will probably return sometime in the future, but will try out other rinks first.

Hmmm. I didn't include the food in my calculations since I'm assuming it is outside catering. The folks that catered this particular event were rude and their food was atrocious. The bar staff was also being odd. I was not drinking so I was offered a cup of soda. Not a can, not a garnish but a flat soda. When I mentioned there were no bubbles, I was told that's how it was made. What? Open a new can! Tadah. Once again was outside service or in house? Who knows? Here is where the ratings go down the toilet...literally. Guest bathrooms or shall I say outhouse. To expect elderly women to go up wobbly stairs to go to the bathroom is obnoxious especially if they are dressed up. It is also a liability. Pumping a toilet to get it to flush was so weird especially given the pristine surroundings. Grandmas deserve better! Show your guests some respect and at least allow an option for a nicer loo. (I guess it was good that I barely ate or drank because it limited my needs to go.) Loved the venue but I think they need to do more of the guests and not just the folks writing the checks. So I guess I'd say beautiful place for a wedding but the reception aspect needs to be revisited.

From the very beginning, she listened to what we wanted, understood our vision, and handled every detail exactly how we asked, and then somehow went above and beyond that. She made us feel heard, supported, and completely taken care of throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, we were able to truly be present and soak in every moment because we knew everything was in her hands. But what made our experience even more special was having her officiate our ceremony. We knew she would do a beautiful job, but she made it so incredibly personal and heartfelt. It was one of the most emotional and beautiful parts of our entire day, and having someone who had been there throughout our wedding journey be the person to marry us made it that much more meaningful. Truly, the icing on the cake. We will forever be grateful for everything she and her team did for us. She didn't just help plan our wedding, she helped create memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. We could not speak more highly of her, her team, and the care they put into what they do. If you're looking for a wedding planner who will genuinely care about you, your vision, and your experience, look no further. We feel incredibly lucky that she was part of our wedding story.
