Has anyone ever tried to sell you a time share? That's exactly what this experience felt like,…read moreexcept instead of getting free breakfast I spent $200 and left with my self-esteem in the gutter. I booked myself a facial as a rare self-care treat in the hopes that I could relax and enjoy being pampered for an hour. When I arrived, I was asked to complete a form and then sat with a sales associate for 20 minutes as they prepped me for the sales pitch to come post-treatment. The salesperson showed me a series of before and after photos of women who had been granted permission to purchase 12-month packages to the tune of $300/month. (They tell you it is only offered if your skin responds to the treatment-a classic snake oil sales tactic.) When I asked what happens if my skin shows no improvement after the facial, she said I would be "given a hug and told I needed botox and fillers". At this point, I was kicking myself for booking a service here (really curious how they have 5 stars) but was hoping at least the facial would be nice and then I could just pay and leave. I went to use the restroom (which was very dirty) and went into the treatment room with the person who did my service. At the time of booking, I was assigned Duran, the aesthetician on their website who had great reviews. When I arrived, they assigned me someone else without notice. The other aesthetician (Kristen?) was nice and knowledgable, but I felt so uncomfortable from my first 20 minutes in this place it was hard to relax. She took up close photos of my face with top-down lighting as "before" and "after" pictures. I was not asked permission and felt really uncomfortable with this. At this point, I realized I made a huge mistake in coming here. I also knew the hard sell was going to hit me as soon as I was done. I was offered a glass of water and told to sit down and drink it while the salesperson showed me the pictures of my face and neck, pointing out every imperfection she could find. She said I responded "beautifully" to the treatment (I honestly looked worse afterwards) and offered me the $3,600 package to help me "turn back the years". When I declined, she offered me 40% off of a $375 serum and $250 exfoliating peel. While the products seemed nice, I was so off-put by the entire experience I asked to just pay for the facial and leave. I'm leaving one star because Kristen was nice and zero stars is not an option on here. If you are looking for a relaxing spa treatment without the hassle I went through, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I decided to treat myself as they were running a special and was really looking forward to it. As soon as I arrived the high pressure sales began. I felt as if I was in a timeshare presentation. It was the exact opposite of the experience I was seeking. When you are taken back for the "facial," the lights are brightly lit in the room and never dimmed, you remain in your normal clothes and lay on top of a table...it isn't heated...there are no blankets, it's not the typical environment you would expect. It's cold and uninviting. Duran is nice and full of compliments but I felt it was all part of the schtick. The whole time they are trying to make a pitch to sell their medical grade red light therapy wand and their overly priced products. It lasts about 40 minutes, but I couldn't wait to get out of there so I was happy it was cut short. Once the "facial" is done, you sit with their sales ppl and that's where they try to close you on a 6500.00 purchase showing you several before/after photos of clients. I have no idea how this place has such good reviews. I can only imagine these individuals have never had a real facial and don't have a proper comparison. There was nothing relaxing about it. It was a waste of money and a horrible experience. Really makes me question reviews now.

I've frequented spas in Sacramento,Breckinridge, D.C, Costa Rica to name a few and I've never experienced such a thoughtful and meticulous facial. She let me know she was specially trained in a European technique, not quite sure what that means but I was in heaven. She did a double cleanse, steam, double mask and the most amazing facial massage in the world. I'm a cosmetologist so I'm sure she knew just how badly I needed a head massage as well. Corinna knew exactly which products to use on my oily skin and made sure to finish up my service with a healthy coat of lotions and sunscreen. Now for the logistics. This spa is 100% committed to maintaining a safe environment during our Covid-19 world. I felt very safe and taken care of. I left with a product to take home that would help control my oils but I was the one to ask for something to take home, she wasn't pushy in the slightest. My least favorite part is that I live in a different state. Looks like I'll be making a bi-yearly pilgrimage to Bend from here on out, granted that Corinna still works there.
