A visit to Bonee and her beauty oasis will leave you feeling like you took a happy pill…read more Bonee offers a variety of services and I have tried most, each was professional and well grounded in artistic. I dipped my toe in the water with a brow waxing and tint, which I have had botched at previous salons, perfect job. Progressed to facials and lash lifts and now two years later have completely immersed with this magic contraption that takes years off. Bonee stays ahead of the game in treatments available to help us weathered beauties defy Bend's High Desert 'I'm going to suck the life out of you' climate. She is a living breathing testament to her products and treatments with flawless skin at age not 20. The shop itself is lovely and serene, the prices extremely fair and I'm not kidding about the happy pill part. I want to update this review with something I just learned after years of using Yelp. They randomly block reviews using a computer algorithm. If you want to see the rest of Sylk's praises sung you need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page (I mean allll the way) and in teeny tiny letters there is "Yelp does not recommend " click on that and there they are. I myself am not looking for Yelp to recommend, I am looking for people who have been to see Bonee. Shame on you Yelp.

Has anyone ever tried to sell you a time share? That's exactly what this experience felt like,…read moreexcept instead of getting free breakfast I spent $200 and left with my self-esteem in the gutter. I booked myself a facial as a rare self-care treat in the hopes that I could relax and enjoy being pampered for an hour. When I arrived, I was asked to complete a form and then sat with a sales associate for 20 minutes as they prepped me for the sales pitch to come post-treatment. The salesperson showed me a series of before and after photos of women who had been granted permission to purchase 12-month packages to the tune of $300/month. (They tell you it is only offered if your skin responds to the treatment-a classic snake oil sales tactic.) When I asked what happens if my skin shows no improvement after the facial, she said I would be "given a hug and told I needed botox and fillers". At this point, I was kicking myself for booking a service here (really curious how they have 5 stars) but was hoping at least the facial would be nice and then I could just pay and leave. I went to use the restroom (which was very dirty) and went into the treatment room with the person who did my service. At the time of booking, I was assigned Duran, the aesthetician on their website who had great reviews. When I arrived, they assigned me someone else without notice. The other aesthetician (Kristen?) was nice and knowledgable, but I felt so uncomfortable from my first 20 minutes in this place it was hard to relax. She took up close photos of my face with top-down lighting as "before" and "after" pictures. I was not asked permission and felt really uncomfortable with this. At this point, I realized I made a huge mistake in coming here. I also knew the hard sell was going to hit me as soon as I was done. I was offered a glass of water and told to sit down and drink it while the salesperson showed me the pictures of my face and neck, pointing out every imperfection she could find. She said I responded "beautifully" to the treatment (I honestly looked worse afterwards) and offered me the $3,600 package to help me "turn back the years". When I declined, she offered me 40% off of a $375 serum and $250 exfoliating peel. While the products seemed nice, I was so off-put by the entire experience I asked to just pay for the facial and leave. I'm leaving one star because Kristen was nice and zero stars is not an option on here. If you are looking for a relaxing spa treatment without the hassle I went through, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I decided to treat myself as they were running a special and was really looking forward to it. As soon as I arrived the high pressure sales began. I felt as if I was in a timeshare presentation. It was the exact opposite of the experience I was seeking. When you are taken back for the "facial," the lights are brightly lit in the room and never dimmed, you remain in your normal clothes and lay on top of a table...it isn't heated...there are no blankets, it's not the typical environment you would expect. It's cold and uninviting. Duran is nice and full of compliments but I felt it was all part of the schtick. The whole time they are trying to make a pitch to sell their medical grade red light therapy wand and their overly priced products. It lasts about 40 minutes, but I couldn't wait to get out of there so I was happy it was cut short. Once the "facial" is done, you sit with their sales ppl and that's where they try to close you on a 6500.00 purchase showing you several before/after photos of clients. I have no idea how this place has such good reviews. I can only imagine these individuals have never had a real facial and don't have a proper comparison. There was nothing relaxing about it. It was a waste of money and a horrible experience. Really makes me question reviews now.
