I've moved around a great deal and have always utilized this type of service. Thus, I've had plenty of experience (sugar, hard, cloth strips, tweezing...all that fun stuff). It seems that most of those "waxing" in Bend, use hard wax versus wax with cloth strips. The end result (in my experience) has been it takes longer (one must wait for the wax to harden), it leaves more wax residue (ugh...), it doesn't pull out the hair as well (I was told it works better for those "hard to get" areas...meh!), and really isn't any more comfortable (I've been told it's not supposed to hurt as much...there's just no getting past that part). Luckily, Jill uses cloth strips (what I'm used to, and has always seemed to work the best) and I must say....there was not one bit of waxy residue and there wasn't a single stray hair to be found. I was in and out in a jiffy and couldn't be happier. I can't recommend Jill highly enough! If a Brazilian is what you're looking for...well....this is the place!

We tried out different things until we found the perfect matches, and along the way, I received some surprisingly helpful skincare guidance as well. I ended up purchasing a good mix of what we used during the consult: new brushes, a moisturizer, sunscreen, and a few staple makeup items. I was apparently in desperate need of some guidance on my skincare routine and what types of makeup products work for Bend's dry climate and I've truly noticed a difference. My skin is less dry, and there's even a bit of a glow that normally comes post facial. But the real highlight came a few days later, when my 13-year-old daughter--the designated "Sephora girl" in our house--asked what I'd been doing differently because "my skin looked really good." She introduced me to a gentleman from NY who had a new skincare product to introduce, and let me know about some changes I might find in my skin with a more dry environment here. I have always enjoyed a flawless complexion, which in part I credit my heritage, but I also have taken care of my skin and believe your base skincare sets the "foundation" for all else you put on your face and body. I also feel like the pricing was extremely reasonable compared to what I've received outside this area, but I did benefit from a "buy 5, get 3 free" package they are running until Nov 22nd. Also love that after those 8 treatments, they offer 50% off for "maintenance" treatments on spots that just need a refresh! When I raised my concerns, I was told by Taylor, the injector that it was due to "my budget," and my request for a corrective session was outright refused. On top of that, the minimal results faded unusually fast...less than a month, making me question whether genuine Botox was used or the injections were not in proper area. I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience. Proper technique, transparency and respect for patients are essential, and unfortunately, I didn't see any of that here.
