I regularly come here with my daughter. We get the best service by far of any salons that we have visited across the state. I was looking for a permanent salon and I have found it. Ronesha always delivers and can get both of us out in about 2.5 hours or less and that's fantastic considering we both have very long and very thick hair. Having a stylist that is not only versatile but fast and a pleasant to be around makes the experience here so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend giving Blo N Go a try, any chance I get I tell people where I got my hair done. The place is super cute, and the people are great and so friendly, oh and did I mention they serve mimosas?!! Well they do!! My stylist was Massiel and she is super friendly and listened to my requested and did such a great job. Went here today for the first time and it was great! Stephanie took care of me and was so sweet! I got held up and had to schedule my appointment later in the date, which they were accommodating for. She offered me a mimosa when I got there and we immediately got started. She asked questions the whole time to make sure we were on the same page, and she did an excellent job with my lengthy hair. Unfortunately, I did not love my experience here. I purchased a groupon which would have provided me with a trim, blow out and color. Natasha did my hair--my color lasted less than 10 days. I did not wash my hair for four days after the color. The trim turned out to be more of a cut. What do you say to the hairdresser that decides on her own to give you layers. Little does she know that you have been growing out your hair to one length. That someone else had beat her into layering my hair. I still gave the required tip. But, this hairdresser did not work out and I will continue to look for someone else. read more

Although I was dissatisfied with my original coloring, management was wonderful handling the situation and putting me with a stylist who gave me exactly what I was looking for. I'm sad to say that I really enjoyed this salon before my most recent experience. The staff is nice and the salon is beautiful. That being said, I wanted to continue to give them my business until my last visit. My first visit at BloNGo I had just moved to Tampa so I wanted to find a reliable salon. I gave them a shot by just coming in for a trim to test it out and liked it. I decided to return for a full highlight service and paid full price. I was pleased but not ecstatic - the highlights didn't go to the root and the hairdresser convinced me out of the cut I wanted. After a few months I needed a touch- up so I returned to get highlights and still get that cut that I wanted and I was recommended by the girl ringing me out to get the groupon, so I did. I was still only half pleased with the highlight job since the whole reason is to get of my roots, I don't like leaving the salons with roots still showing after I paid money. But whatever, I decided once again to ride it out. My sister found out I was going to this salon so she bought me a groupon for my birthday as a gift. A few months later (this visit), I went back in order to use it. I was going to ask for a more natural look since we're moving into the fall season, however upon arrival (after my usual 30 min wait with an appointment), my hairdresser had already brought out a color to do my hair with. Again, to be flexible I decided it was no big deal and I'd just go with it. We get done with the color and she hands me off to another hairdresser and presumably leaves. The other girl takes care of my blowdry and cut, which I just got a trim instead of a full cut and blowout like the Groupon states. So, she finishes and I go up to the front to pay. There's a man there that I've never seen before in my prior visits, who waits a good 10 mins before acknowledging me. He then proceeds to start ringing me up and I show him the groupon and he redeems. He then tells me a total of $120 something, and I'm like ? I showed him the groupon for color, cut, and blowdry which would just leave the toner which is like $10-20. He then proceeds to tell me "well this is your 3rd time using Groupon so we're only deducting what you paid for it." 1) No. I have only used ONE groupon and this one was a gift. I did not purchase two, this was given to me, which no where does it say is a problem. He then says well we have it listed on here that you used a Groupon on your first visit. So this man accuses me of using a Groupon that I have never used and then is denying my current groupon for the value that was paid for it. I was furious. I told him I'd be happy to bring up my Groupon page and my bank account to show that I had never used one on that visit. He continued to be rude and state that it was the 3rd Groupon on my account. At this point I was so furious I told him to just give me a total and I would pay but I will never be returning there. It's pretty sad that this man is representing the salon where I've only had good customer experiences with hairdressers I've had yet he ruined their whole continued business with me over an issue that he is wrong about. I still left a full tip for the ladies because it wasn't their fault but I was absolutely shocked and disgusted with the way this man treated me. I would advise not to let him man the front again or he may to make radical assumptions and accuse your clients of things that are actually very much false. So, of the many things I was willing to overlook because I enjoyed the salon, The wait even with appointments The hairdressers not listening to what you want for your hair and going off their own recommendations The lack of stated policies The root color lines even with a full highlight The rescheduling of appts I will now be never returning and advising others not to go because of the absolute crap this man gave me and for being denied the use of a Groupon's payment because of something that is completely false. My hair is not easy to deal with and Ron made it seems so easy. She was personable and made me feel welcomed. My hair cut usually comes out botched because of my very curly hair but for once in a long time I am actually pleased with my very even ends! I typically enjoy wearing my hair in natural curls but whenever I do feel like having it straight I'm going right back to BloNgo. The salon itself made me feel girly and pretty. I have never left any stylist happier than this evening. I work 7 days a week but decided to treat myself tonight with the small window of availability that I had. I walked into blongo in sweats asking for a walk-in hair cut with no clue or desire in anything specific. They welcomed me with open arms...the only stylist there squeezed me in. The owner was working the front and she was so personable. They had no space for me, but you can tell they aim to please. I literally didn't want to leave. Cera is the woman who did my hair and I gave her zero direction because that's the kind of person that I am, but within 30 minutes, including a relaxing wash, poof she made magic happen. I could NOT be happier. She was the first stylist that actually listened to me ask her to get creative & go short if she wants. She also left me with guidance on what I called my fake curls! LoL I'm clueless, but she didn't make me feel bad...that's hard to come by. She was busy, but still took time out to personalize my "appointment." I want to also let you all know I'm not an avid yelper. I'm a busy mom with four jobs, but Blongo, you deserve the best review. What a fine establishment and I will be back to see Cera and hopefully Chantel because she was so pleasant! It's nice to see another business woman doing her thing interacting on the front line. I am new to Florida and found Blongo on Groupon. When I called to make an appointment they were so accommodating and squeezed me in that day! When I walked in, the salon looked so adorable, clean and well lit and I was greeted with a big smile. I was offered a beverage of water, coffee or a mimosa and even a snack! Throughout my time there they also checked-in to see if I needed or wanted anything else. Stephanie did balayage in an ashy-blonde and a cut and blow. This is one of those "you get what you pay for" I realized the Groupon these business put out is simply one way to collect revenues real quick as I am sure some people end up not using it etc. I must say, that I've never had someone tell me how many inches you need cut off my hair that is my choice not yours. I also there was no one else waiting. 30 minutes later and I am sitting on this chair with the bitch with an attitude asking me if I want my hair washed!! I said I purchase this and this and I hope you will do your job I am here to get this service(and I described ) she went in the back to get me water which she offer several time and I said no and then later she ask "do you want your water now"? I said OK trying to relax and get friendly with this bitch who already has an unfriendly vibe and I really dont want to drink anything she brings me.... well she did not come back for a while so I said let me get the hell out of here..and you know why I know she was not thrilled to do my hair? because I said I will be right back and I did not and they did not call me to ask if I was giving up my appointment. Honestly I purchase these groupon to check these places out before I pay hundreds of dollars for crappy goods.
