This was my first time going to Sage Salon and I am so impressed! My stylist was McKenna and I can't say enough good things about her. She took time during my initial consultation to look at photos I brought, to discuss what my I wanted in terms of highlights and cut. The appointment for my cut and highlights was one of the best experiences I've had at a salon. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and offered water while I waited since I arrived very early. She answered my questions about the products they offer. I also had the pleasure of observing her interact with other clients. She was the perfect blend of efficiency and kindness. McKenna was right on time for my appointment. She reviewed the things we discussed during my initial consultation to make sure I didn't want to make any changes to the plan. Then it was on to the highlight process. I'm very happy with the results as well as the cut itself. McKenna has the best personality and made the time fly by. She made me feel comfortable and confident right from the start. I highly recommend this salon and McKenna. I feel I finally found "my" salon. The salon itself is beautiful and bright. The atmosphere in the salon was relaxed and pleasant. I think you can "feel" a heaviness when there is tension between employees and there was none of that at all. This is a great Aveda salon in Land O'Lakes! I've been coming in for a trim every 6 weeks or so since August, trying to manage the growing-out process from damaged bleach blonde to my natural color. They have done a great cut and blowout every time. I appreciate that they do not really try to up-sell or push a bunch of unnecessary products and services. One thing to know is that some of the stylists charge a higher rate than others. This is somehow based on skill/qualifications. My hair is pretty uncomplicated (long layers, no chemical processes), so I stick with the lower price. If you are doing color or some kind of intricate style, it might be worth investigating the difference. read more

Love Sage Salon! I've been a client for over 5 years and I'm always happy when I leave. This is an Aveda Salon with continually trained stylists -- it's definitely not one of those walk-in haircut places. They are very popular, so you might have to wait a few days to get in, but it's definitely worth it. Make sure to book your next appointment before you leave, and you won't have to wait for an opening again. My stylist never rushes through our appointments, and they book so accurately that her next client walks in as I'm paying. My hair has never been healthier than since becoming a Sage client. Normally I would say that this place is great, but last time I went the stylist I have been going to for years basically just sent me to another stylist. I always made sure to give her a great tip. I don't know why it happened and not really sure why the staff didn't care. It seems very unprofessional to not even offer an apology or explanation. I'm going to give this new stylist a time or two and if I'm not happy, there are other Aveda salons who would be happy to take my money. Hopefully this is helpful to others who were considering going here. I guess they are just getting too busy? I don't usually review businesses however, after my experience with this salon I had to! From the very beginning I received the very best customer service; I had an event coming up and in very short notice the receptionist, Amber, helped plan an appointment despite the many challenges my schedule presented. The staff was so welcoming, all knew me by name and made me feel as if I had been a regular at this salon. My stylist, Lydia, did an AMAZING job turning my brassy blonde into a beautiful icy blonde (I have received non-stop compliments). She walked me through all the steps she took, was extremely talented, and just so sweet. I have so many positive things to say about this salon; the atmosphere is beautiful, very kind staff, hand massage during my shampoo, etc. Overall, I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to have a spa like experience while getting their hair done. read more

My first time there and everyone made me feel really comfortable. Kira was wonderful made me feel good and she gave me a great haircut.

As a bystander watching, the front desk lady was not very welcoming to everyone. Two young brown skin girls came in and the lady barely spoke to them but when other customers came in she was welcoming and offered beverages of them. For me as a customer to see others paying for the same service and not being treated the same is disheartening and because of that I will definitely not be back. read more

Who would have thought???? Tucked away in the Connerton area of Pasco County would be such a GEM of a salon! I love Aveda and needed a quick color so gave them a try. It was one of those transformational experiences! Tara did a beautiful job with color and gave me just the cut I have been searching for years. The salon and spa is very upscale. Very relaxing. I loved the heated neck rests on shampoo chair and arm and hand massage I received while conditioner was in my hair was heavenly. All of the stylists are extremely well-trained Aveda professionals. Went for the first time today. I happen to have very curly hair so a great stylist is a must. I love the cut, loved the atmosphere and will be back next week for color. The environment was relaxing and there was no big sales push on product. My stylist showed me the products she used and answered questions but I was not pressured. My naturally wavy hair is very prone to frizz, but she gave me products that keep it straight and frizz free even in humid FL summer. I love the cut and color that she gives me, and I am very impressed with her attention to detail. She took a little extra time to get to know me and my lifestyle in my first visit, and she takes that into consideration when recommending a style or a service. If you are on a limited budget, don't let that scare you away from this wonderful salon.
