They asked what kind of hair I have and what look I'm going for and assured me that they can do it, which they did! We talked about pricing and I really appreciated that they honored their Groupon prices at their salon, so I did not even have to buy the actual Groupon to get my discount. At the end of my checkout, there were no surprise fees since they already talked me through everything, so I paid the fee that I was already expecting. When I went inside BloNgo for my appointment, I observed how nice and clean their building was. Everything seemed to sparkle and the lady at the front desk offered me a free beverage, so I gladly took a cup of coffee (it was made it a really cute tea cup). They made me fill out and sign some papers and a waiver basically saying that BloNgo cannot be held accountable for how your hair will turn out if you decide to go really light with your hair, such as going blonde or bleaching. Which makes sense and I believe that other salons should do this too since everyone's hair is different and can have various outcomes. I started right away at my appointment time, I did not wait long at all. The employee that took care of me was Timothy and he was really amazing with my hair. I wanted a balayage and he spent three hours on my hair to do just that! He pays careful attention to details and handles your hair with care. He always asked me if I was comfortable and always informed me of what he was currently doing to my hair, which was interesting since I was also learning the process of how a balayage is done. My hairstyle also came with a hair trim, so not only is my hair colored lighter, but it also feels healthy at the same time. I have never gotten my hair done this way before and it's a really nice change, I really liked how he did everything and the end result was beautiful. I just want to thank him again for making my first time experience at BloNgo a wonderful one and because of him, I will be recommending this place to my friends and I will be sure to come back for any of my future hair appointments.

After completing my booking, I received a confirmation for an appointment on August 1, 2026. Wanting to confirm a few details, I reached out to BloNgo through Instagram. I was then informed that the Silk Press Experience would not be available until August 11th. I explained that your website had allowed me to book the August 1st appointment and that I had already received a confirmation. Instead of acknowledging the issue, I received a snarky response stating that I had booked the appointment with the Botox doctor. Respectfully, it is highly unprofessional for a salon's booking system to allow customers to schedule a hair service with a Botox provider in the first place. The booking platform should clearly separate providers and services or prevent incompatible bookings altogether. Had I not reached out beforehand, I could have arrived for an appointment that wasn't actually valid, wasting both my time and effort. This experience was frustrating and avoidable. I strongly recommend investing in a more reliable booking system and improving how customer concerns are handled when issues with the website are brought to your attention.

It is hard for me to get a cut I genuinely like 100%. I can always find a problem with it. Kathy not only gave me an amazingly beautiful cut, but it passed the post-shampoo test! Most of the time I get a cut I like, until i wash my hair. This is because the stylist spends time blow drying it and using styling products so it usually looks good after the cut. With Kathy I got an amazing cut, that still looks good even after washing it. My normal styling routine is to take the towel off, comb my hair then turn my head upside down and finger tousle it. Usually it looks flat because it is so fine. But with this cut, it still has a lot of body and bounce. I would recommend Kathy without reservation! She even gave my husband a cut that he likes, and he is pickier than I am! Best part about Kathy is that she is not only talented, she is an amazing person. I got frustrated trying to find a stylist who charged a reasonable price, but did good work. So I finally broke down and dyed my own hair to hide a few "off color" strands :-). I was expecting her to chew me out for using "box color", but instead of trying to sell me on her color services in the future, she complemented me and advised me on how to do my own hair in the future. Exactly the same result as if I spent hours and even days deciding on my new haircut. While waiting to have my hair washed, I quickly browsed some haircuts online and got advice from Sharece. I 100% trust Amanda with mine. She is always upfront with what can be accomplished and will never perform a service that will cause further damage to your hair. My hair was always in rough shape from constantly changing my style/look (part of being in the business) but since listening to her recommendations my hair is the healthiest it's ever been (and my color is ALWAYS on point) Her studio is absolutely stunning, she always has cold drinks for you during your stay, and her assistant Dianna treats you like an old friend (and she gives the BEST head massages). Granted, I did this at like 2 in the Morning, desperate for a hair salon that I can get into, and used my photo search for some recent photos and got one of them wrong.. I did submit them thinking I had submitted my most recent but one of those 3 I believe was incorrect on its date stamp. They had notified me of this and that's when I realized that a photo I submitted wasn't of my most recent, as they asked. Now their process is unique but very lengthy so we went back and forth via email for a while and I had apologized for the mistake and I received her thoughts on integrity with a client and so forth and I absolutely agreed and understood and to my knowledge I really didn't send an incorrect photo purposely. I actually had 2 other photos that were taken that night so just really an error on my part, that I had apologized for and for which they agreed to move forward with doing my hair. I thought, this is awesome, finally Im going to get this hair handled. Well they asked me a plethora of questions and I answered them and I also let them know that my experiences in Florida have all been not good. I have been in Florida since 2021 and I get my hair done once a year, thats 3 hair appointments since 2025, I haven't had one. They asked about my hair products and so forth and I answered. So from hearing that I was a good match to then get an email saying I am not a good match really contradicted the integrity portion that they emailed me about, because here they were going back on their word. I was first shocked but then very disappointed due to hearing yes and then no. I have extremely long hair, to my hips to be exact and I have usually done full foils and a gloss with a natural brown base but the 3 times that Ive gotten it done here, at salons and paid $300 plus each time, They gave me reddish brown and zero dimension so absolutely Im going to share that nobody has gotten it right since I've been here. I appreciate their filtering process and I think that they should have kept their word and carried out the part that they agreed to. I am a firm believer in doing what you say even if you make a mistake. That's integrity and character. Im not here to bash them or their shop or their filtering process. Im sharing my own experience and I hope that they learn from this as I have and they keep to their original word. The vetting process was great but the overall result was mixed and extremely disappointing. Although I believe that the end result didn't uphold the integrity that was communicated, they were extremely respectful and professional in their emails and I do appreciate that, however, the process was long and took time and effort and didn't work out as it should have. Something to reflect upon as a possibility while applying, essentially for a hair appointment here.
